It doesn't repeat the same 5 points of information that everyone else talks about, and it's long enough that I can get into it and listen to them in the background. I'm a little bit of a shotgun head and use pretty much all of them exclusively on bugs, here's my take. The punisher is perfectly balanced and needs no changes. Incendiary breaker should have its magazine size reduced to 18-20 but have eight spare magazines, the regular breaker should have its old 16 round magazine back and 8 spare magazines. The spray and pray should go back to its old 32 round mag size (which was reduced to 26 when they buffed the damage from 144 to 192) and drop down to 6 spare magazines from its current 8. The slugger should have its old knockback, damage (280), and demolition power back, but have significantly reduced projectile velocity, increased projectile drop, and increased damage falloff outside medium range. The Blitzer, if you can count that as a shotgun, just needs the function better and not get caught on corpses, terrain, and particle effects so often. You could also make an argument that it should benefit from the ship module upgrade which adds an additional arc to electric weapons, it feels like it's missing out on that, six arcs instead of five would be pretty fair and would help with those situations where you pump four shots into a little hive guard and the thing STILL doesn't die. That's all I would do to them, I feel its fairly reasonable at this point.
I am guilty of massively enjoying the AR-23A Liberator Carbine.. scoped in. Shooting it feels so good regardless of how much damage it does :)). Maybe its the sound or the recoil, idk what but it is magic for me.
Putting the Breaker Spray n’ Pray in D tier is absolutely criminal! It’s one of the best Bug weapons for chaff. I’ve been using it since well before the “Railgun Nerf” and it still amazes me how slept on it is. It’s in a comfortable state of balance and suits its role to a tee! 👍🏻
Breaker Spray n Pray is literally the temu/wish version of the incendiary breaker. Incendiary has more upfront damage (240 vs 192), DOT damage, and lower recoil. Breaker spray and pray trades all of that for 1 more bullet in the mag and a slightly faster fire rate (incendiary 300 vs s&p 330). It is trash because the incendiary literally crushes it in any niche. Too compete with incendiary and solidify its niche (vs incendiary) without changing its dps, just give it a 50 round mag and reduce its spare mag count from 8 to 4. Really lets it be the chaff control gun by reducing reload frequency while keeping the ammo count the same (26 × 8 = 208 vs 50 × 4 = 200).
@@virgil7272The Incendiary Breaker is obviously a much better weapon than the Spray n’ Pray, that’s why I didn’t compare the two, how could I… (A better comparison would be the Las-16 Sickle which the Spray n’ Pray outperforms in almost every metric.) The Incendiary Breaker is an Easy S+ Tier weapon and think it’s well within reason to assume that it will most likely receive a nerf. To say the Spray n’ Pray is trash just because another weapon out preforms it (especially one of that caliber) is a very shallow way of looking at it and doesn’t paint the full picture: The 330rpm is nothing to scoff at given its damage and its full auto function is a nice boost to its ease of use. Its recoil is easily manageable and has great handling overall. It fires pellets/ bird shot which allow it to hit multiple targets and makes it exceptionally easy to shred the limbs off bugs. (Brood Commanders and Shriekers specifically are easily taken down because of this.) Lastly the ammo economy is also great unlike most primaries. It’s only real draw back is its range but considering the distance at which most engagements with Bugs occur and given the fact that it’s a shotgun, this is negligible at best. It also can’t pen medium armour but that was never its intention. Like all other primaries, you need to pair it with the right support weapon(s)/ stratagems to compliment it. Because of this, it really can’t be considered a downside. I merely said the Breaker Spray n’ Pray is an excellent Chaff clearer and fills its role well. It’s a perfectly reasonable conclusion. I simply disagree with its placement on this Tire List. Hopefully this helps to paint a clearer picture of my initial post.
@@Herminus_II I think it's fair to compare the S&P and the incendiary when both are variants of the same basic weapon and are designed for the same general purpose. Face it, the only thing the S&P has over the Incendiary is that you don't need steeled veterans to equip it and it doesn't set allies on fire. If it had some other niche the incendiary didn't cover, you'd have a point, but it just doesn't. Even the absurd amount of liberator clones each have something to them - like the Carbine's insane fire rate, or the Tenderizer's durable damage making it viable vs devastators and brood commanders - but the S&P and Incendiary have no difference in where to apply them. Sadly it's the one primary that's genuinely outclassed by another of its type and straight up has no purpose for being.

I acknowledged the fact that the Incendiary Breaker is better than the Spray n’ Pray in every way. It’s in a whole different category. It is anything but fair to compare the two weapons because of this reason. In order to compare two things you need to have a proper basis. This is precisely why I compared the Spray n’ Pray to the Las-16 Sickle. If you do the math, it outperforms the Sickle in many important aspects (when referring to Bugs) including DPS and Sustained fire. The Sickle is also generally considered a really solid weapon which in turn says a lot about the Spray n’ Pray (for the sake of the argument at hand.) If the Incendiary Breaker is better in every way, then there is really no point in making the comparison. The only reason you’d ever compare the two would be to demonstrate how much better the Incendiary Breaker is than the Spray and Pray which has nothing to do with my Initial post nor the argument in question. The argument is question is whether or not the Spray n’ Pray is a solid weapon for Bug Chaff (of which I already listed the reasons previously.) To reiterate: “The Spray n’ Pray is one of the best Bug weapons for Chaff and suits its role well.” Ps: Saying “Face It” comes across as extremely arrogant from someone who didn’t read in full or take the time to understand my comment(s) for the sake for the argument.
@@Herminus_II I fundamentrally disagree with the idea that dismissing the S&P because the Incendiary is better is somehow wrong. That's what I'm arguing. You're dead set on arguing for the S&P's strong sides, and if it were any other weapon comparison you would have a point, but the S&P is the one exception where it really is just the Incendiary but worse. Yes, it SHOULD be lower than D exclusively because the Incendiary exists and is better than it in every way. That's what you need to face. It is in fact fairly decent for chaff clear and everythign else you say is technically correct, but it is actually completely nullified by this other weapon and it's pointless to die on this hill. The ONE thing it has over the incendiary is you can spend 1000 SC on another warbond if you don't have them all yet.
The Liberator Concussive and Penetrator have been missing 45 round magazines since the game launched. Liberators should also do 70 damage per round with penalties to that based on the type of round other versions use like -10 for penetrator, -5 for concussive and so on, different rounds use the same brass or casing, so they don't take up for room in the magazines. Punisher shotguns use TUBE MAGAZINES not clips. there rate of fire is also a bit slow. Breaker Spray&Pray needs its 32 round magazine back. Arc Blitzer needs 15 more fire rate. the only weapon that uses clips is the Autocannon support weapon it uses 5 round clips to reload its internal magazine.
The liberator penetrator has 10 magazines and can one mag the green mortar bugs and has medium pen, i can one mag two brood commander heads with one magazine and yes with this weapon you need to hit head-critcal spots more hut this gun is so good for taking everything except hive gaurds and stalkers but i argue its actually really good once you get use to it in full auto and hitting critical hit spots 🔥🔥🔥
@@demonofwar1155 killing spewers in one mag or commanders in half a mag is not really an accomplishment. It gets absolutely dumpstered by the adjudicator, dominator, slugger, etc. Pitiful dps and even worse capacity.
I absolutely love the Blitzer. Kills so fast. Only struggles against shriekers and chargers. But killing up to 5 small enemies in 1 shot is so awesome. Brute commander with the fire breaker? Nearly one full mag gone. With the Blitzer? Stun indefinitely and kill within 3-4 shots (maybe, don't remember exactly) I mainly play on Helldive and this weapon paired with the grenade pistol, light armor with +2 grenades and the shield generator backpack let's me really clutch bad situations. Good for horde clear if you know what you are doing
I always carry the grenade pistol for bug holes and incendiary grenades for breaches. They will burn about as long as the breach lasts and you just have to deal with the larger stuff that doesn’t take enough fire damage.
Am I the only one who thinks the incendiary grenade should have a larger explosion radius and longer burn duration to make it a worthy trade with the impact incendiary? It would give players more of choice to make, instant results versus sustain.
I think you are spot on with the Knight. I love running with that gun but I think after everything that's happened with Sony and other things, they want to avoid the pay to win concerns. It's probably why The standard liberator keeps getting buffed as more things come out. That said, I love running the Knight and an ammo backpack. Takes away the fear of overcommitting ammunition.
Glad someone recognizes how good the pumisher is. It can take out any bug short of a Charger with only a few shots and has great ammo efficiency and range for a shotgun
I feel like they should just make the liberator concussive an AR version of the dominator and rename it to liberator explosive ( I think that was the original name right?). Higher rof, less (but still some) stagger, lower damage, etc. The pummeler would then still have its place too
I can appreciate the slow buff to the AR's, and I agree with your point on ammo reserve. If they fixed that I wouldnt have to take the scorcher every match for mid range-light pen. Tenderizer feels especially good
Good thing to note about the blitzer. It stuns small/medium enemies, and it even interrupts the acid spit from the spitters. If they rear back to spit, a blitzer shot will stop the animation entirely.
Yes, that's a great feature of the Blitzer. Tested yesterday, and it effectively stunlocks stalkers too. A+ gun except when it targets dead enemies. It's actually better than the Arc Thrower, which does not shoot fast enough to stunlock stalkers (or fast enough in general for the damage it does).
Incendiary breaker doesn’t have as much fire damage as napalm strike. It’s only useful against chaff, and very bad against bigger targets, especially stalkers, it’s a noob bait, only works if you bring supply backpack, otherwise you can’t solo objectives or you take all the supply drops and would be considered a poor solo build.
i used the incendiary a lot of time and i think it is very solid for everything but bile titans and chargers, i literally erase stalkers with it, the only other bug that it is tough against it is the bile spewer. that said i switched to eruptor because i love the flamethrower and i think flamethrower and incendiary breaker fills the same role, and i like more the firs, eruptor gives me a weapon to kill bile spewers faster, brood comanders, guards... even to finish bile titans that doesnt get killed by orbital precision strike. but anyway everyone should play with the weapon they feel the most fun!
There's a lot of chaff (and hunters, I wouldn't consider those chaff) for the Breaker Incendiary to make quick work of. Switch to your support weapon for larger, medium-armored targets; using the Breaker Incendiary on them is ammo-inefficient, so you'll run out quickly as you said. I like the Autocannon and MG-43. HMG and Flamethrower can work too. I'm not aware of a primary that does well against medium-armored targets while still being excellent at chaff-clearing. The Blitzer is great and can technically do it all, but is pretty slow to get through large waves of light enemies.
When the breaker was nerfed according to the devs themselves, it was only because people used it a lot, not because it overperformed. Since its nerf, the removal of the 3 rounds in the mag and recoil went from annoying (from having to constantly reload) to straight detrimental since the game has constantly either A) Added more patrol spawns since launch version, and B) Changed the patrol composition to add much more chaff (this is the second patch where they made patrols and breaches include more chaff and hunters). So at the time the nerf (unjustified imo) werent that bad, but as they kept changing spawn rates and composition, the more frequent reloads went from annoying to actually limiting/infuriating
@@ExValeFor but neither do things like the slugger which is in a tier. I can take the breaker into at least level 8 and manage fairly well. Even if it’s not the optimal choice. Granted with the right loadout.

I think your critique of Breaker Spray and Pray is fair, that it is just a worse version of incindiery, but the conclusion i do not agree that "incindiery is better therefore this is D tier" i mean, then everything is D tier, i think spray and pray is still fairly good, like B tier, i would try the thought experiment of if incindiery was taken out of the game, where would you put spray and pray?
I love the slugger, but i stopped using it because it just isnt quite fast enough, nor does it do enough damage, to keep you safe from the hordes of bugs. At the slugger's rate of fire, it needs to kill hunters or consistently stagger commanders in one shot, not two.
Any time they nerf anything in this game they essentially take a weapon/stratagem off the roster and no one uses it. This has been a pattern since launch. Hopefully they are learning.
i find the verdict pairs with explosive weapons well for dealing with the small chaff since it has a fast reload but i can see why you'd still bring senator over it
People make the argument for og breaker and the spray because they dont apply burn dot that might be less or wont stack with flamethrower's dot, but this hasnt been tested
Cutting Edge is by far the best warbond in the game and it's only getting better with every update. Every weapon is great, the stun grenades are gamechangers, the armor is a meme but one day you'll be glad you got it (if you know you know)
Eruptor feels really good now, at least you put it on par with the crossbow, i tried the crossbow it just still isnt there at the damage for me, even with the significantly better fire rate. It feels nice placing a well placed bullet and taking out like 5 hunters with the eruptor, and butt shots on the chargers is nice
Fun fact about regular incendiary grenades they can close bug holes but the impact incendiary either cant or i suck with it, also the regular one's fire lasts about 1 second longer so is better for area denial, I'd put them next to eachother against bugs. Totally feel you on stun grenades they're insanely useful but that awkward moment where you realise you have nothing for bug holes 🤣
With medium armour penetration, higher durable damage and a faster reload the adjudicator effectively does more damage than the tenderizer and it seems like nobody's caught on yet that the damage numbers the game tells you are a lie.
I'm 100% with you. Liked the Tenderizer after the update, but the Adjudicator just makes way more sense for overall more dmg output between the 2 weapons.

I geniuently don't understand how blowing up the bile titan stomach is a benefit. If they can spit, they regularly stop giving you a chance to easily land an orbital, reload a missile weapon, or call in something and are unlikely to actually kill you with their spit if you just keep moving. They will also kill any bugs that try to chase you with it. Meanwhile when you do destroy its sack they start charging at you non stop making it significantly harder to hit a strat or reload, no longer deal friendly fire and instantly kill you if they as much as graze you eith their legs . Am i missing something obvious? Everyone says that it can destroy bile titan sacks like its a benefit but it geniuently seems to make them more dangerous to me
Damage to the stomach decreases their overall health pool so they can be killed quicker with some other options. Usually its my go to for when the bile titan is already weakened as it can be enough to finish it.
I was hoping it would be a good alternative to the dominator, trading "explosive damage" for good handling. Unfortunately it feels like they set the stagger value to 0 or very close to it in 01.000.200. Does not stagger or interrupt any spewer attacks, and stalkers simply do not care about getting hit by this weapon.
I would love to see a big buff to the throwing knife, just because it's so unique. It already is limited in terms of fire rate, difficulty to aim, and ammo economy, so I honestly don't think it would be unreasonable for it to 1-shot anything weaker than a charger if you get a headshot.
It's not a clip. It's a magazine. Even with the shotguns. I noticed you use the right term with the rifles so maybe you thought the shotguns magazine tube was a clip.
Why people dont use the slugger anymore. after the nerf there was too many better options. It two shots brood commanders. so does a bunch of other stuff. If you dont have access to the other stuff then its still great but we have options now. I loved it it was my favorite shotgun for having fun after the nerf it simply didnt have anything to differentiate it from the others as the funny shtich was gone just leaving a mid tier shotgun. It was my go to get back foul creature gun. Now I use the arc shotgun for the same reason. Its funny. It has infinite ammo and a littlenbit of shove.
I really don't see why you rank that high med pen against bugs? I have a better med bugs kill time with Sickle than any med pen weapon My Ranking would be more like Eruptor and Sickle S tier, not Dominator And Liberator Penetrator and PLAS Purifier D tier, not Breaker spray & pray
Stun in A? I genuinely can't imagine life without stun nades on bugs. Impacts are great but, like, stun is a genuine game changer. Stunned enemies can get easily killed with your primary or secondary without biting your face off, which is almost as good as throwing an impact at them. Dont get me started on chargers. Besides this, a surprisingly sane tier list, I expected some schizo takes
Haven't played in a while, but looking at this tier list I can def tell I'm not missing too much, since my loadout would be exactly the same. Devs should nerf Encendiary breaker harder and buff AR guns.
Improper comparison. The real question is why would you use the Concussive Liberator over the Punisher. Knight and Liberator Carbine are better in 1st person, since the recoil is reduced further in all stances and they have almost no difference in view or turn rate in first person (perfect handling). I view Liberator Carbine as one of the best AR platforms against bugs, but requires a support weapon to cover medium armor. Frag grenade is D tier. It needs, and has needed, serious buffs. Needs to lean more into its shrapnel focus, with ideally more shrapnel (they each do 80 damage, just not enough to hit a target more than once unless the grenade is right next to it). Why are weapons going lower in the tier list when the enemies are not really getting harder to kill and both the bottom and top of the tier list are not being changed? The weapon isn't getting worse and the bounds of power are the same.

Decided to skip to end to see what you put in S tier, Welp, you must seriously be running supply backpack a lot or using up all the supply drops, which either means you’re soloing the game on d9 no others in loby. In which case the tier list is fine. In real d9 games though, both dom and incendiary breaker are a tier at best, dominator probably holding a higher spot in lieu of spawn being medium heavy. The breaker incendiary chews through too much ammo dealing with brood commanders, bile spewers, stalkers, even hive guards, and don’t really have charger killing potential in a pinch. It’s great at clearing hunters, but if you ran a shield backpack or guard dog rover, those things are not really a concern. Currently, D9 bug meta is all about stagger or medium armour pen, and relative ease of use for hunter killing. The supposed S tier would have to be the punisher, it is the only weapon that fulfils all criteria, even taking out shreikers, great ammo economy, great all round use case, great stagger. With supply backpack, the buffed tenderiser would also be in the S tier according to your rating for all the medium killing power, and better accuracy than dominator due to handling + projectile speed, and bigger ammo capacity, it handles chaff better, medium armour better etc. So nah, most primaries are good, but expected to have the stagger/medium armour pen rate higher, and breaker incendiary only becoming just viable when with a supply backpack equipped purely on chaff/shreiker clear, but not really otherwise.
Incendiary Breaker, Flamethrower, and Supply Pack is one of the best builds right now. Supply pack is extremely good, especially with how good stun grenades and the new stim booster are. Getting 12 of each of those is extremely busted.
Ain't no way that damn arc Blitzer is A teir Haven't tried it against bugs but I remember it being unable to headshot, and taking a full minute of shooting to kill a single devastator with NO UPDATE since commandos Maybe I'll eat my words after trying it but that is some damn cap

@Chiefoo unless they buffed the fire rate without me noticing, I doubt the stagger can be worth it against hoards when you fire close to 1 shot a second
@@parker6893 yeah because it fires slow you have to constantly move and shoot but if you are willing to do that you can stay shooting the whole time, also the stagger can interrupt the charge for brood commander and the bile spewer acid
The throwing knife really needs love. But then again almost all the throwables need rebalancing and seem to be last on the dev's priority list, so it may be awhile. The main thing they got wrong with it is that since it cant do any AOE damage, it should have a much, much higher single target damage. IMO it should 1-shot all small chaff enemies (scavs, pouncers, hunters, spitters) regardless of where you hit them. Then, the slightly larger warriors, bile warriors, hive guards, and brood commanders, I think it should 1-shot them also IF you hit head or body anywhere. It should slice off any limb it hits. Two knives to anywhere on a spewer for a kill should be fine also. If the above sounds too powerful, just think about how many enemies you can currently kill with 1-2 grenades currently. This is mainly if they keep it where we cant pick knives up either. If they let us pick them up from bodies, then maybe we can take about each enemies taking one more knife to kill on top of what I described above. And they def need to fix the aiming/reticle lineup. It going left for sure.
285hrs in terminid meta loadout imo: Incendiary brkr Grenade pistol Stun nades Light armor Flamethrower Eagle 500kg Eagle airstrike Shield backpack - (this backpack enables solo play and survivability with randoms that are lower skill lvl - kind of a devil I deal with carrying) Should be noted I only play difficulty 9 and this is current with recent patch
I spam thermite, stick 4 to a charger that is inside my spear range. As long as i hit all 4 it will go down. If I hit 1 spear first 2 thermite will kill it.
the Devs need to make individual ammo call downs. its the worst when your team mates call it down and use it all by themselves and your ammo is completely depleted. and your screwed until the next time or you have to look for some on the map. Every time i use an AR , i run out of ammo and literally running for my life and trying to survive while on 6 or above.
You’re sleeping so hard on the Spray n Pray it should be in B tier. It’s by far the best weapon to deal with shriekers and can handle all enemies except Hive Guards and Bile Spewers. It could use a small buff (along with a small incendiary breaker nerf) to give it more of a niche, but it’s a solid weapon as is
Best for shriekers??? The incendiary breaker is significantly better. All you need is to set it on fire, not even need to kill it with projectiles. The spray and pray is far too weak.
I like it too, it doesn't have medium pen but it peppers shit so good, it's easy to clear chaff with this weapon. The only thing you'll have trouble with is the hive guards, and you'll still pepper the fleshy bits it'll just take a few shots. I'm gonna run it more, just because it's different than the incendiary and you can mindlessly spam magazines edit: plus no setting teammates on fire! 😅
@@FrozenByFire3 Beat me to it, nothing can even come close to touching the incendiary for shriekers. Spray like 3 or 4 shots into a patrol and it's over in seconds. Incendiary makes shriekers the easiest type of patrol to deal with in the entire game.
@@ClearAlera I honestly never understood the hate for shriekers. They're the easiest enemy in the game. Super easy to dodge, weak as all hell and aren't even hard to shoot out of the air. Hell I run punisher plasma against bugs and love the challenge of getting shriekers with it. Especially shooting into a patrol and getting 3-4 shriekers with 1 shot.

You could also make an argument that it should benefit from the ship module upgrade which adds an additional arc to electric weapons, it feels like it's missing out on that, six arcs instead of five would be pretty fair and would help with those situations where you pump four shots into a little hive guard and the thing STILL doesn't die. That's all I would do to them, I feel its fairly reasonable at this point.
I am guilty of massively enjoying the AR-23A Liberator Carbine.. scoped in. Shooting it feels so good regardless of how much damage it does :)). Maybe its the sound or the recoil, idk what but it is magic for me.

It’s one of the best Bug weapons for chaff. I’ve been using it since well before the “Railgun Nerf” and it still amazes me how slept on it is.
It’s in a comfortable state of balance and suits its role to a tee! 👍🏻
Breaker Spray n Pray is literally the temu/wish version of the incendiary breaker. Incendiary has more upfront damage (240 vs 192), DOT damage, and lower recoil. Breaker spray and pray trades all of that for 1 more bullet in the mag and a slightly faster fire rate (incendiary 300 vs s&p 330).
It is trash because the incendiary literally crushes it in any niche.
Too compete with incendiary and solidify its niche (vs incendiary) without changing its dps, just give it a 50 round mag and reduce its spare mag count from 8 to 4. Really lets it be the chaff control gun by reducing reload frequency while keeping the ammo count the same (26 × 8 = 208 vs 50 × 4 = 200).

The Incendiary Breaker is an Easy S+ Tier weapon and think it’s well within reason to assume that it will most likely receive a nerf.
To say the Spray n’ Pray is trash just because another weapon out preforms it (especially one of that caliber) is a very shallow way of looking at it and doesn’t paint the full picture:
The 330rpm is nothing to scoff at given its damage and its full auto function is a nice boost to its ease of use.
Its recoil is easily manageable and has great handling overall.
It fires pellets/ bird shot which allow it to hit multiple targets and makes it exceptionally easy to shred the limbs off bugs. (Brood Commanders and Shriekers specifically are easily taken down because of this.)
Lastly the ammo economy is also great unlike most primaries.
It’s only real draw back is its range but considering the distance at which most engagements with Bugs occur and given the fact that it’s a shotgun, this is negligible at best.
It also can’t pen medium armour but that was never its intention. Like all other primaries, you need to pair it with the right support weapon(s)/ stratagems to compliment it.
Because of this, it really can’t be considered a downside.
I merely said the Breaker Spray n’ Pray is an excellent Chaff clearer and fills its role well. It’s a perfectly reasonable conclusion.
I simply disagree with its placement on this Tire List.
Hopefully this helps to paint a clearer picture of my initial post.
@@Herminus_II I think it's fair to compare the S&P and the incendiary when both are variants of the same basic weapon and are designed for the same general purpose. Face it, the only thing the S&P has over the Incendiary is that you don't need steeled veterans to equip it and it doesn't set allies on fire.
If it had some other niche the incendiary didn't cover, you'd have a point, but it just doesn't. Even the absurd amount of liberator clones each have something to them - like the Carbine's insane fire rate, or the Tenderizer's durable damage making it viable vs devastators and brood commanders - but the S&P and Incendiary have no difference in where to apply them. Sadly it's the one primary that's genuinely outclassed by another of its type and straight up has no purpose for being.

This is precisely why I compared the Spray n’ Pray to the Las-16 Sickle.
If you do the math, it outperforms the Sickle in many important aspects (when referring to Bugs) including DPS and Sustained fire. The Sickle is also generally considered a really solid weapon which in turn says a lot about the Spray n’ Pray (for the sake of the argument at hand.)
If the Incendiary Breaker is better in every way, then there is really no point in making the comparison.
The only reason you’d ever compare the two would be to demonstrate how much better the Incendiary Breaker is than the Spray and Pray which has nothing to do with my Initial post nor the argument in question.
The argument is question is whether or not the Spray n’ Pray is a solid weapon for Bug Chaff (of which I already listed the reasons previously.)

You're dead set on arguing for the S&P's strong sides, and if it were any other weapon comparison you would have a point, but the S&P is the one exception where it really is just the Incendiary but worse. Yes, it SHOULD be lower than D exclusively because the Incendiary exists and is better than it in every way. That's what you need to face. It is in fact fairly decent for chaff clear and everythign else you say is technically correct, but it is actually completely nullified by this other weapon and it's pointless to die on this hill. The ONE thing it has over the incendiary is you can spend 1000 SC on another warbond if you don't have them all yet.
The Liberator Concussive and Penetrator have been missing 45 round magazines since the game launched. Liberators should also do 70 damage per round with penalties to that based on the type of round other versions use like -10 for penetrator, -5 for concussive and so on, different rounds use the same brass or casing, so they don't take up for room in the magazines.
Punisher shotguns use TUBE MAGAZINES not clips. there rate of fire is also a bit slow.
Breaker Spray&Pray needs its 32 round magazine back.
Arc Blitzer needs 15 more fire rate.
the only weapon that uses clips is the Autocannon support weapon it uses 5 round clips to reload its internal magazine.
The liberator penetrator has 10 magazines and can one mag the green mortar bugs and has medium pen, i can one mag two brood commander heads with one magazine and yes with this weapon you need to hit head-critcal spots more hut this gun is so good for taking everything except hive gaurds and stalkers but i argue its actually really good once you get use to it in full auto and hitting critical hit spots 🔥🔥🔥
The hive guards do eat about one magazine and I use incendiary grenades a lot to help with groups of hive guards and hunters

The Lib concussive and penetrator are actually correctly modelled with 30rd mags, and people can say clips to mean mags it’s not the biggest deal.
I absolutely love the Blitzer. Kills so fast. Only struggles against shriekers and chargers. But killing up to 5 small enemies in 1 shot is so awesome. Brute commander with the fire breaker? Nearly one full mag gone. With the Blitzer? Stun indefinitely and kill within 3-4 shots (maybe, don't remember exactly)
I mainly play on Helldive and this weapon paired with the grenade pistol, light armor with +2 grenades and the shield generator backpack let's me really clutch bad situations. Good for horde clear if you know what you are doing
I always carry the grenade pistol for bug holes and incendiary grenades for breaches. They will burn about as long as the breach lasts and you just have to deal with the larger stuff that doesn’t take enough fire damage.
Am I the only one who thinks the incendiary grenade should have a larger explosion radius and longer burn duration to make it a worthy trade with the impact incendiary? It would give players more of choice to make, instant results versus sustain.

I think you are spot on with the Knight. I love running with that gun but I think after everything that's happened with Sony and other things, they want to avoid the pay to win concerns. It's probably why The standard liberator keeps getting buffed as more things come out.
That said, I love running the Knight and an ammo backpack. Takes away the fear of overcommitting ammunition.
Glad someone recognizes how good the pumisher is. It can take out any bug short of a Charger with only a few shots and has great ammo efficiency and range for a shotgun
I feel like they should just make the liberator concussive an AR version of the dominator and rename it to liberator explosive ( I think that was the original name right?). Higher rof, less (but still some) stagger, lower damage, etc. The pummeler would then still have its place too

I can appreciate the slow buff to the AR's, and I agree with your point on ammo reserve. If they fixed that I wouldnt have to take the scorcher every match for mid range-light pen. Tenderizer feels especially good
Good thing to note about the blitzer. It stuns small/medium enemies, and it even interrupts the acid spit from the spitters. If they rear back to spit, a blitzer shot will stop the animation entirely.
Yes, that's a great feature of the Blitzer. Tested yesterday, and it effectively stunlocks stalkers too. A+ gun except when it targets dead enemies. It's actually better than the Arc Thrower, which does not shoot fast enough to stunlock stalkers (or fast enough in general for the damage it does).
Stun grenade has made its way into my loadout just for use with the orbital precision strike combo
Incendiary breaker doesn’t have as much fire damage as napalm strike. It’s only useful against chaff, and very bad against bigger targets, especially stalkers, it’s a noob bait, only works if you bring supply backpack, otherwise you can’t solo objectives or you take all the supply drops and would be considered a poor solo build.
Good thing the supply pack is a top-tier stratagem.
i used the incendiary a lot of time and i think it is very solid for everything but bile titans and chargers, i literally erase stalkers with it, the only other bug that it is tough against it is the bile spewer. that said i switched to eruptor because i love the flamethrower and i think flamethrower and incendiary breaker fills the same role, and i like more the firs, eruptor gives me a weapon to kill bile spewers faster, brood comanders, guards... even to finish bile titans that doesnt get killed by orbital precision strike. but anyway everyone should play with the weapon they feel the most fun!
There's a lot of chaff (and hunters, I wouldn't consider those chaff) for the Breaker Incendiary to make quick work of. Switch to your support weapon for larger, medium-armored targets; using the Breaker Incendiary on them is ammo-inefficient, so you'll run out quickly as you said. I like the Autocannon and MG-43. HMG and Flamethrower can work too. I'm not aware of a primary that does well against medium-armored targets while still being excellent at chaff-clearing. The Blitzer is great and can technically do it all, but is pretty slow to get through large waves of light enemies.
Is the normal breaker really worse than all those A tiers? I didn’t think its initial nerf really hurt that much.
When the breaker was nerfed according to the devs themselves, it was only because people used it a lot, not because it overperformed. Since its nerf, the removal of the 3 rounds in the mag and recoil went from annoying (from having to constantly reload) to straight detrimental since the game has constantly either A) Added more patrol spawns since launch version, and B) Changed the patrol composition to add much more chaff (this is the second patch where they made patrols and breaches include more chaff and hunters).
So at the time the nerf (unjustified imo) werent that bad, but as they kept changing spawn rates and composition, the more frequent reloads went from annoying to actually limiting/infuriating
The truth is that it was never actually that good. Higher level missions give you so many enemies that it just can't deal with.

I think your critique of Breaker Spray and Pray is fair, that it is just a worse version of incindiery, but the conclusion i do not agree that "incindiery is better therefore this is D tier" i mean, then everything is D tier, i think spray and pray is still fairly good, like B tier, i would try the thought experiment of if incindiery was taken out of the game, where would you put spray and pray?
I love the slugger, but i stopped using it because it just isnt quite fast enough, nor does it do enough damage, to keep you safe from the hordes of bugs. At the slugger's rate of fire, it needs to kill hunters or consistently stagger commanders in one shot, not two.
Any time they nerf anything in this game they essentially take a weapon/stratagem off the roster and no one uses it. This has been a pattern since launch. Hopefully they are learning.

i find the verdict pairs with explosive weapons well for dealing with the small chaff since it has a fast reload but i can see why you'd still bring senator over it
People make the argument for og breaker and the spray because they dont apply burn dot that might be less or wont stack with flamethrower's dot, but this hasnt been tested

Cutting Edge is by far the best warbond in the game and it's only getting better with every update. Every weapon is great, the stun grenades are gamechangers, the armor is a meme but one day you'll be glad you got it (if you know you know)
Eruptor feels really good now, at least you put it on par with the crossbow, i tried the crossbow it just still isnt there at the damage for me, even with the significantly better fire rate. It feels nice placing a well placed bullet and taking out like 5 hunters with the eruptor, and butt shots on the chargers is nice

Fun fact about regular incendiary grenades they can close bug holes but the impact incendiary either cant or i suck with it, also the regular one's fire lasts about 1 second longer so is better for area denial, I'd put them next to eachother against bugs. Totally feel you on stun grenades they're insanely useful but that awkward moment where you realise you have nothing for bug holes 🤣
With medium armour penetration, higher durable damage and a faster reload the adjudicator effectively does more damage than the tenderizer and it seems like nobody's caught on yet that the damage numbers the game tells you are a lie.
I'm 100% with you. Liked the Tenderizer after the update, but the Adjudicator just makes way more sense for overall more dmg output between the 2 weapons.

I geniuently don't understand how blowing up the bile titan stomach is a benefit. If they can spit, they regularly stop giving you a chance to easily land an orbital, reload a missile weapon, or call in something and are unlikely to actually kill you with their spit if you just keep moving. They will also kill any bugs that try to chase you with it.
Meanwhile when you do destroy its sack they start charging at you non stop making it significantly harder to hit a strat or reload, no longer deal friendly fire and instantly kill you if they as much as graze you eith their legs .
Am i missing something obvious? Everyone says that it can destroy bile titan sacks like its a benefit but it geniuently seems to make them more dangerous to me
Damage to the stomach decreases their overall health pool so they can be killed quicker with some other options. Usually its my go to for when the bile titan is already weakened as it can be enough to finish it.
I usually just break it's side armor with a quasar and finish him off with a crossbow
Slugger needs more stopping power back, and a range decrease to make up for it.

I was hoping it would be a good alternative to the dominator, trading "explosive damage" for good handling. Unfortunately it feels like they set the stagger value to 0 or very close to it in 01.000.200. Does not stagger or interrupt any spewer attacks, and stalkers simply do not care about getting hit by this weapon.
id like to see the assault rifles get a magazine size buff. all the smgs feel like assault rifles and most of the assault rifles feel like smgs

I would love to see a big buff to the throwing knife, just because it's so unique. It already is limited in terms of fire rate, difficulty to aim, and ammo economy, so I honestly don't think it would be unreasonable for it to 1-shot anything weaker than a charger if you get a headshot.

It's not a clip. It's a magazine. Even with the shotguns. I noticed you use the right term with the rifles so maybe you thought the shotguns magazine tube was a clip.
Why people dont use the slugger anymore. after the nerf there was too many better options. It two shots brood commanders. so does a bunch of other stuff. If you dont have access to the other stuff then its still great but we have options now.
I loved it it was my favorite shotgun for having fun after the nerf it simply didnt have anything to differentiate it from the others as the funny shtich was gone just leaving a mid tier shotgun.
It was my go to get back foul creature gun. Now I use the arc shotgun for the same reason. Its funny. It has infinite ammo and a littlenbit of shove.

Stun in A? I genuinely can't imagine life without stun nades on bugs. Impacts are great but, like, stun is a genuine game changer. Stunned enemies can get easily killed with your primary or secondary without biting your face off, which is almost as good as throwing an impact at them. Dont get me started on chargers. Besides this, a surprisingly sane tier list, I expected some schizo takes
Haven't played in a while, but looking at this tier list I can def tell I'm not missing too much, since my loadout would be exactly the same. Devs should nerf Encendiary breaker harder and buff AR guns.
Improper comparison. The real question is why would you use the Concussive Liberator over the Punisher.
Knight and Liberator Carbine are better in 1st person, since the recoil is reduced further in all stances and they have almost no difference in view or turn rate in first person (perfect handling). I view Liberator Carbine as one of the best AR platforms against bugs, but requires a support weapon to cover medium armor.
Frag grenade is D tier. It needs, and has needed, serious buffs. Needs to lean more into its shrapnel focus, with ideally more shrapnel (they each do 80 damage, just not enough to hit a target more than once unless the grenade is right next to it).
Why are weapons going lower in the tier list when the enemies are not really getting harder to kill and both the bottom and top of the tier list are not being changed? The weapon isn't getting worse and the bounds of power are the same.
I agree the Carbine is soo good 1st person. I'm enjoying the feel of this weapon.

Decided to skip to end to see what you put in S tier, Welp, you must seriously be running supply backpack a lot or using up all the supply drops, which either means you’re soloing the game on d9 no others in loby. In which case the tier list is fine.
In real d9 games though, both dom and incendiary breaker are a tier at best, dominator probably holding a higher spot in lieu of spawn being medium heavy. The breaker incendiary chews through too much ammo dealing with brood commanders, bile spewers, stalkers, even hive guards, and don’t really have charger killing potential in a pinch.
It’s great at clearing hunters, but if you ran a shield backpack or guard dog rover, those things are not really a concern.
Currently, D9 bug meta is all about stagger or medium armour pen, and relative ease of use for hunter killing. The supposed S tier would have to be the punisher, it is the only weapon that fulfils all criteria, even taking out shreikers, great ammo economy, great all round use case, great stagger.
With supply backpack, the buffed tenderiser would also be in the S tier according to your rating for all the medium killing power, and better accuracy than dominator due to handling + projectile speed, and bigger ammo capacity, it handles chaff better, medium armour better etc.
So nah, most primaries are good, but expected to have the stagger/medium armour pen rate higher, and breaker incendiary only becoming just viable when with a supply backpack equipped purely on chaff/shreiker clear, but not really otherwise.
Incendiary Breaker, Flamethrower, and Supply Pack is one of the best builds right now. Supply pack is extremely good, especially with how good stun grenades and the new stim booster are. Getting 12 of each of those is extremely busted.

The throwing knife really needs love. But then again almost all the throwables need rebalancing and seem to be last on the dev's priority list, so it may be awhile. The main thing they got wrong with it is that since it cant do any AOE damage, it should have a much, much higher single target damage. IMO it should 1-shot all small chaff enemies (scavs, pouncers, hunters, spitters) regardless of where you hit them. Then, the slightly larger warriors, bile warriors, hive guards, and brood commanders, I think it should 1-shot them also IF you hit head or body anywhere. It should slice off any limb it hits. Two knives to anywhere on a spewer for a kill should be fine also.
If the above sounds too powerful, just think about how many enemies you can currently kill with 1-2 grenades currently. This is mainly if they keep it where we cant pick knives up either. If they let us pick them up from bodies, then maybe we can take about each enemies taking one more knife to kill on top of what I described above.
And they def need to fix the aiming/reticle lineup. It going left for sure.

I spam thermite, stick 4 to a charger that is inside my spear range. As long as i hit all 4 it will go down. If I hit 1 spear first 2 thermite will kill it.

the Devs need to make individual ammo call downs. its the worst when your team mates call it down and use it all by themselves and your ammo is completely depleted. and your screwed until the next time or you have to look for some on the map. Every time i use an AR , i run out of ammo and literally running for my life and trying to survive while on 6 or above.

I like it too, it doesn't have medium pen but it peppers shit so good, it's easy to clear chaff with this weapon. The only thing you'll have trouble with is the hive guards, and you'll still pepper the fleshy bits it'll just take a few shots. I'm gonna run it more, just because it's different than the incendiary and you can mindlessly spam magazines edit: plus no setting teammates on fire! 😅
@@FrozenByFire3 Beat me to it, nothing can even come close to touching the incendiary for shriekers. Spray like 3 or 4 shots into a patrol and it's over in seconds. Incendiary makes shriekers the easiest type of patrol to deal with in the entire game.
@@ClearAlera I honestly never understood the hate for shriekers. They're the easiest enemy in the game. Super easy to dodge, weak as all hell and aren't even hard to shoot out of the air. Hell I run punisher plasma against bugs and love the challenge of getting shriekers with it. Especially shooting into a patrol and getting 3-4 shriekers with 1 shot.

it depends on the loadout, eruptor/flamethrower and triple shotty is a very viable and fun loadout in helldive. it is all about the combinations
