The high roller truck. I'm trying to remember the manufacturer. But it was direct competition for the clodbuster. But it had a tub chassis so it could float on water. One of my holy grails. And like some of yours impossible to find. They only made them for a few years then poof gone forever. Love the channel always watch ty ty for doing what you do
Great start glen. 1 of my first serious RC cars was mardave marauder. Nitro. I remember ripping down the street Boxing Day morning with no exhaust ( much to the neighbors displeasure) after staying up all night to build chassis #goodtimes
Way more obscure than I was prepared for. My obscure goal is a YOKOMO YRF2. I had one briefly, and it was such a delightfully odd car. Bits of it feel like a pan car built backwards.
Some rare cars, tamiya B2B sidecar, solar eagle, marui samurai, AYK buffalo, royal ripper. Some cars I'd like to have, kyosho triumph, maxim, slingshot, big brute, original optima mid, tamiya nib original astute, falcon, and maybe a blazing blazer.
As a monster truck guy, the Marui Big Bear (I think its called) always catches my eye when I see it. Got the classic 80s look, a super cool thing that I bet would be a contender for a Tamiya. Not super rare but not that common either. That Shogun looks tremendous, I hope someone can send you a lead to one. 😍
I remember looking through the ripmax catalogue back in the day and seeing a Garbo gepard. It just looked so cool, I've always wanted one but never seen a good one.
MRP Pro 110…I had one I raced briefly when I was 14 and can’t remember what I did with it. It took about 15 years of looking but I finally found one NIB….then shortly after scored a new built never run one as well.
All those 5 cars look awsome .i must say i love your display as well have great day looking foward to next video i had to subscribe twice lost it first time for sone reason werd o well good now
Hi Glenn. I have a couple from memory only that I'm sure we're both kyosho. One was a Sierra cosworth rs500 and the other was a Peugeot 205 t16. I've never seen one in the flesh but remember drooling over them in an old rc magazine in the late 80s or early 90s. Cheers.
Wow.... Some fantastic rare beast's there Glenn and damn sexy 1's as well, I can only wish and dream of owning some of them. Never seen or heard of the AYK racing, or the PB Ace nor the RCL Incident 😱😱 so an eye opener there and some learning 😁👍. I tried watch this earlier but your collection, especially the motors got the better of me🤔🤔💡💡💡💡😁😁 so I had to change a few motors in my cars and go for a blast lol. 10x2 LRP V10 in my TA04s, 8x3 Team Zero S-Pro in my TA05R (Beast), and 14x2 LRP V10 HPI Sprint plus 8.5t in my other TA05 all on 2s.. oh and blasted me Vkar V.4B plus on 3s for good measure, and what a great day ripping so thanks for the inspiration 😁. Now feet up and watch again 😂👍👍
@@RCLegends2022 cheers Glenn😁 yeah it was epic and the LRP V10 spec 5 on your shelf made me😂😂🤣 just binge watching true vintage RC now so thanks for the plug there's some beauties like you say, 🤞 you get some of your wanted list👍. Finally got my wanted car the TA05R at long last it's not that vintage but will be my n⁰1 shelf queen❤️🤣 i will take my other TA05 racing hopefully 🤞 and then bash the 3rd TA05 as plenty of parts now. Will try save for a TA07 as aren't much for the 6, or maybe a TRF 416 which I nearly bought off eBay the other day lol. That little Tamiya devil keeps telling me to buy more🤣🤣
Hi Glenn. Congrats on the new channel! Vintages I currently own: Tamiya Porsche 959 Kyosho Turbo Optima Kyosho NSR500 Used to own: Kyosho Turbo Optima Mid Kyosho Optima Pro Kyosho Lazer Sport Kyosho Lazer ZXR (twice)
Subscribed and liked, Glenn! I have a RCL Incident Pro painted in a Senna Tribute livery, so rare that I'm afraid to run it, I've had PB Mini Mustang that I've stupidly sold off ages ago, would've love a ACE, I have a Radiant now and would love a Boost or Pro or a Tomy Intruder like the one you have...I think the two holy grail cars are a Masami Stealth car and any version of the MIP 4WD Legend car in my opinion...not exactly obscure but expensive and difficult to get/replicate.
Hi Glenn, if I had the money, I'd find a Yokomo YR F2 Special, - nice & unusual touring car design, interesting story, think it was even banned after its first year of racing! :)
It's amazing how things change,I had both the tenth tech X10 which was a shelf queen and raced the later x11 and this was around 2012 ish. I started to get rid of my RC gear and literally couldn't give them away they sold for literally peanuts and now thousands for the X10 at least😁🤦
John Thorp/Thorp RC are some really rare and by the looks of it Expensive RCs of all time so nothing for your channel just yet but when you reach a million subs then you can treat yourself with one of his creations 😁👍💪 I have some 500+ cars (and adding every day) in my collection, started just a couple of years ago out of boredom when Covid hit. You gotta do something 😋 Good luck from Sweden 💪🤘
I enjoyed your video. I am very old and only remember a couple of those. I found a Marui Big Bear for sale. It appears to be in very good shape. If your interested let me know how I can privately send you a link.
The front wheel drive Nichimo Spirit FF is definitely an anomaly. The only other mass produced FWD buggy that comes to mind is the Kyosho Maxxum FF. Ishipla was not a car made by Nichimo, but is another company that produced an entry level 2wd buggy called the Monster.
I had and sold in the early 90s a car called a Titan TKO which was a direct drive dirt sprint car. Now the one I had was a prototype that the creator Jim Deater built and tested. The car was fast on track looked the part and has a sweet spot in my heart . The TKO became the Trinity Reflex 10 again a rare chassis in it self. Also a Team Trinity LTO pan car with the pink revers direction trinity motor. And the light weight conversion for the LTO. I have been after them for years and there is absolutely ZERO info on them period . I owned them have pictures some place of them so I'm not dreaming but noone else seems to remember or have them
You mentioned in your last vid that you were considering doing live streams. Well I've just tried to read through the horrible written instructions for a Mardave Cobra. Your first live stream should be a complete build of a Cobra. It would probably be your least watched video, but I'd find out what length screws hold the sodding gearbox together lol.
After watching this video, I think that here in europe, the Robbe Geronimo was a PB car. The rims from the PB Ace looks identical to the ones on the Geronimo. It was sold as 2WD and 4WD.
My first rc which I used to race with was a cheap £80 ish mardave meteor with a aluminium chassis and was so basic part wise but affordable from my paper round money. Then I swapped my commodore c64 for a PB , I think it was the mustang but I'm not 100% but it was Belt driven 4wd . Then i got my tamiya blackfoot xtreme which I still have 20 plus years later , and I have just picked up a tamiya twin detonator which is basically a blackfoot xtreme but twin motor and twin gearboxes 4x4 with a poly bodyshell not abs like blackfoots. I really need a new front grill due to a light mod I did to my blackfoot xtreme but I can't find any anywhere withoutt getting a full model for silly money, I wish tamiya would do spares for old discontinued kits.
Hi Glenn, you quite surely know of the Thunder Tiger 4WDS, a Hotshot clone. Also, you surely know the Academy Road Runner Mk. 1 and Mk. 2, clones of the Grasshopper/Hornet. But have you heard of the Bluebird Baja Champ? These are rare (not super rare), although I think there is not too much love for them. They look a bit marmite, but what convinced me was their chassis layout. Looking very much inspired by Kyosho Optimas. 🙂 If you are planning to do a wrap-up of what people came up with here in the comments, l would love to hear what you think about this one. Keep it up, love your videos on this new channel. 👊🏼
Fantastic information my friend thank you 😊 Yeah I actually wasn’t planning on doing a follow up video but with the response I’ve had I’ll definitely be doing one now 😅👊🏻
I don't have a suggestion for the super rare ones, but I always want someone to introduce the 4WDS ones like the Incident you mentioned. I think nowadays RC makers are probably not going to design/produce one anymore; reason being that the complexity of the drive train and the overall chassis design/weight isn't worth it... The current electronics probably can make the car already steer/drive better without the 4WDS design. So besides the Incident, I know of Kyosho Progress and Gallop/Mk2 - these are still somewhat "accessible" compared to the rarest ones you just shown. It would be great if you can get one of them on the show to at least show us how a 4WDS build/drive! 😀
Great memories, great channel. Thank you. There was a rc car called a Zerda, but I can’t remember the manufacturer. Other than that I reckon you’ve probably got most of them covered.
Some good content coming up there Glenn, and loving your enthusiasm for the new channel...Gotta say the only one of those cars I knew of was the marui so always good to see something new or in this case old. All the best.Gaz
The MRP highroller, great looking vintage rc monster truck that is unfortunately quite fragile. MRC Thunder king, pretty well known but unique monster truck, MRC has a bunch of pretty neat looking kits worth checking out online at least. There is a swedish rc manufacturer called carlsson, made pan cars in general & some of them were made offroaders by putting larger wheels & tires on them bit late 1970's - 1980's stuff Flying point, hirobo, yankee might have some interesting models as well.
Nice video dude….Great list, a couple that I want are the SG Coyote 2wd or 4wd….AYK Bobcat and Buffalo/Sidewinder…..Yokomo 834b Wonder dog fighter…..Hirobo Alien Mid 4…….and the Hirobo Invader…..think that’s enough for now!!!
Hi Glen, my first RC was a Marui Shogun and now i'm hunting one for ages. Cool to see, that you also have this buggy on your radar :-) Good luck getting your top five together :-) Cheers - Christoph
Here's one for ya glen, TAG SG Coyote, think they did a 4WD & 2WD version, from memory it was a italian manufacturer. Great channel mate, keep up the awesome 👊
My god that Shogun is an absolute stunner,I have never herd of one or seen one before, its beautiful 😍, I love the black and gold colour scheme,so much reminds me of the old Lotus F1 cars👌.I really hope u manage to eventually get one 😁
Hey Glenn! My friend, I was just thinking, I am very shocked you managed to get the name "RC Legends" for your channel, because I would have put money on that name already being used mate!!?? You're really fortunate there mate!! Love the new channel, and really excited to see what Legends you review on this new awesome channel my friend!! By the way, I agree that TT Predator X10 rc car is HIDEOUSELY EXPENSIVE!!!!! and over-priced, impo mate!!!!! I wanted a vintage Tamiya Michelin Pilot Escort Cosworth a couple years ago, and I was flabbergasted at how much money people were asking for them original boxed vintage!!?? And don't even get me started on the price of unbuilt vintage Tamiya rc cars!!!??? HORRENDOUS!!! LOL Wes, Liverpool UK.
Heya Glenn. I don't have anything super rare, or even just rare. I have an RC10 gold pan that I'm getting to working order, not rare but vintage and a bit spendy. I have a Marui Hunter, Big Bear and a Samurai. Vintage but not overly rare and I played the long game so I didn't spend too much. My current target vintage wise is the also not so rare but currently ridiculously priced Tamiya Porsche 959. I'm playing the super long game on that one waiting for a decently priced one to come along. Do you have a Hirobo Jealousy yet? Those are quite sought after. Anything AYK is gold, in rarity and price.
Yeah I like what you are saying my friend, today’s 2nd hand market is really quite ridiculous tbh 🤕 I’m really hoping it’ll settle down soon and get back how it was 😇🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hey Glenn how did I miss this video??!!?!!? I’m not sure if anyone mentioned the MRP Shotgun - it’s a 4wd 10th scale beauty but I’ve never managed to get hold of one myself. Also TAG made one called the Jet I think it may be similar to the Geronimo I saw someone mentioned. Even weirder - there’s a Yankee Electra on EBay currently for ridiculous money 😔 This is going to be awesome man this stuff is what I absolutely love for!!! Oh, in case you need a radiant to convert to a boost I’m your guy - might be more trouble than it’s worth but I believe it can be done 🤔 I know a guy in the UK with multiple ACE kits, he might be willing to part with one I’ll chat him up! He may watch your channel anyways 😄
Great vid, as usual. I'm not sure i see the beauty in your #1 pick, but that's part of the fun, eh?! Mainly tho, i wanted to say how jazzed i was to see the AYK Boost on your list- what a gorgeous car, box, chassis, body, everything! Very bold of AYK to go all in on that orange colour for the A-arms...!? Full disclosure, I am biased, since i own a ratty old black one (as you were recently made aware) here in Ottawa. Happy R/Cing!
Hey Glenn. Great new channel. Looking forward to many videos sir. One car I came across a few years back that didn't know existed was the RockBuster by World Engines / Academy. It's a Grasshopper / Hornet clone with some minor differences with body, front bumper, and unique chassis feature that I guess avoided a lawsuit from Tamiya. Not the best quality car produced by any means but an interesting conversation piece to add into any collection.
It was also called the road runner. I still have a body, wing and bumper on my grasshopper. I may have a broken chassis too? The chassis had cool extra details, louvers and textures molded in👌
Ooh, you've picked some real corkers there mate!! As for your chances of getting most of them, 2 chances, slim and none🤣🤣 Seriously though, I hope that you can get at least 1 or 2 of them for your collection, you definitely deserve it for the excellent videos that you always put out👍👍
Hv one curious of what you think? New build new condition KYOSHO/ COX 4WD/4WS GALLOP PRO with stock and Le Mans Pro motor, 2nd set of Orig. Option House all terrains, manual, stickers, gears... Rare?
the one I always wanted to get when it was out was the traxxas monster buggy but I was that a lot for an rc now I kick myself for not having got it then
Loving this channel Glenn, do love Tamiya Legends but this channel and the content your discussing of rare cars and other brands is so interesting my friend. Surprised you didn’t mention a Yokomo Super Dogfighter variant in that lineup or a AYK Viper which are lush. Btw I have a X10 nib and other rare nib kits in the humble stash lol Can’t wait for this channel to go full steam ahead 👍
Hey thanks Andy 😊 Well I’ve now actually got one of those cars on the way to me 😅 As for nitro I’ve had a few over the years but never really wanted to keep with them 🤕 Do you have a particular one in mind?

Not super rare but not that common either. That Shogun looks tremendous, I hope someone can send you a lead to one. 😍
Oh yeah Nick I’m a fan of the Marui Big Bear 🤩🤩🤩
I have Big Bear or 2!🤩
I remember looking through the ripmax catalogue back in the day and seeing a Garbo gepard. It just looked so cool, I've always wanted one but never seen a good one.
Oh excellent Tony I’ll have to Google that one my friend 😊👊🏻
I would go for an AYK 566B Super Trail Baja Bison or American Pick Up but I doubt I'll ever find one for my RC collection.
Oh fantastic I don’t know that one 😊👊🏻
What a great target collection 🤩🤩🤩 another cracking video….I’ll keep my eyes open on the x10 side of things. What a superb collection that will be!
Haha as I did say on the video, I fear this is at best just wishful thinking my friend 🤣👊🏻
@@RCLegends2022 sometimes wishes come true!
MRP Pro 110…I had one I raced briefly when I was 14 and can’t remember what I did with it. It took about 15 years of looking but I finally found one NIB….then shortly after scored a new built never run one as well.
All those 5 cars look awsome .i must say i love your display as well have great day looking foward to next video i had to subscribe twice lost it first time for sone reason werd o well good now
Hey welcome back to the channel my friend 😊😊😊
Hi Glenn. I have a couple from memory only that I'm sure we're both kyosho. One was a Sierra cosworth rs500 and the other was a Peugeot 205 t16. I've never seen one in the flesh but remember drooling over them in an old rc magazine in the late 80s or early 90s. Cheers.
Yeah I remember those car awesome 😎
The peugeot has a twin in a honda crx
@@r35553h oh wow I love the real crx too
@@RCLegends2022 oh cool you do. I'm going to do a little googleing now and find the crx as mentioned by rese.
Predator is top of my list because at the time it was so unattainable for the average Joe . Plus it was pretty radical for the time .
Yeah unfortunately if you’re lucky enough to find one the price will be pretty radical too 🤕🤕🤕
Thanks for watching my friend 🤩👊🏻
Haha you’ve been out ragging them around my friend, that’s fantastic 🚗💨💨💨💨💨
@@RCLegends2022 cheers Glenn😁 yeah it was epic and the LRP V10 spec 5 on your shelf made me😂😂🤣
just binge watching true vintage RC now so thanks for the plug there's some beauties like you say, 🤞 you get some of your wanted list👍.
Vintages I currently own:
Tamiya Porsche 959
Kyosho Turbo Optima
Kyosho NSR500
Used to own:
Kyosho Turbo Optima Mid
Kyosho Optima Pro
Kyosho Lazer Sport
Kyosho Lazer ZXR (twice)
Oh those Kyosho Bikes really do interest me, they look absolutely stunning 🤩
Subscribed and liked, Glenn!
I have a RCL Incident Pro painted in a Senna Tribute livery, so rare that I'm afraid to run it, I've had PB Mini Mustang that I've stupidly sold off ages ago, would've love a ACE, I have a Radiant now and would love a Boost or Pro or a Tomy Intruder like the one you have...I think the two holy grail cars are a Masami Stealth car and any version of the MIP 4WD Legend car in my opinion...not exactly obscure but expensive and difficult to get/replicate.
Oh I know you’re Incident very well Paul, that thing you’ve created is absolutely incredible 🤩🤩🤩
Hi Glenn, if I had the money, I'd find a Yokomo YR F2 Special, - nice & unusual touring car design, interesting story, think it was even banned after its first year of racing! :)
Oh excellent thanks Ben I’ll have to Google that one 😅👊🏻
I watched True RC’s Incident, really cool 👍
Watch this space my friend I might be getting one 😊😊😊
Marui needs to come back.
Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
It's amazing how things change,I had both the tenth tech X10 which was a shelf queen and raced the later x11 and this was around 2012 ish. I started to get rid of my RC gear and literally couldn't give them away they sold for literally peanuts and now thousands for the X10 at least😁🤦
Yeah you’re spot on Neil, the x10 was a £230 car in 2016 🤯
John Thorp/Thorp RC are some really rare and by the looks of it Expensive RCs of all time so nothing for your channel just yet but when you reach a million subs then you can treat yourself with one of his creations 😁👍💪
I have some 500+ cars (and adding every day) in my collection, started just a couple of years ago out of boredom when Covid hit. You gotta do something 😋
Good luck from Sweden 💪🤘
Wow you have 500+ cars my friend, that’s incredible 😊👊🏻
I enjoyed your video. I am very old and only remember a couple of those. I found a Marui Big Bear for sale. It appears to be in very good shape. If your interested let me know how I can privately send you a link.
Hey thanks for watching and leaving a comment Michael 😊
Unfortunately I’m all out of RC Tokens at the moment 🤕
That Shogan is 👌👌👌 dare I say it, better looking than the Ninja
Well I’ve gotta agree with you as too just how gorgeous it is, not sure it beats the Ninjas looks but there’s not much in it my friend 🤩🤩🤩
If you ask me, my favorite rc car I would like to own is a Marui Hunter. As for a rare rc car, I would say the Nichimo Ishipla ff rc buggy
Oh yeah those Nichimo cars are pretty special and rare now 😊👊🏻
The front wheel drive Nichimo Spirit FF is definitely an anomaly. The only other mass produced FWD buggy that comes to mind is the Kyosho Maxxum FF. Ishipla was not a car made by Nichimo, but is another company that produced an entry level 2wd buggy called the Monster.
Hi Glenn ! looking forward to the new channel. You always have great and interresting content!
Thanks for the great comment Richard 😊👊🏻
I had and sold in the early 90s a car called a Titan TKO which was a direct drive dirt sprint car. Now the one I had was a prototype that the creator Jim Deater built and tested. The car was fast on track looked the part and has a sweet spot in my heart . The TKO became the Trinity Reflex 10 again a rare chassis in it self. Also a Team Trinity LTO pan car with the pink revers direction trinity motor. And the light weight conversion for the LTO. I have been after them for years and there is absolutely ZERO info on them period . I owned them have pictures some place of them so I'm not dreaming but noone else seems to remember or have them
Wow that’s awesome Randy 🤩
You mentioned in your last vid that you were considering doing live streams. Well I've just tried to read through the horrible written instructions for a Mardave Cobra. Your first live stream should be a complete build of a Cobra. It would probably be your least watched video, but I'd find out what length screws hold the sodding gearbox together lol.
Oh dear is the manual really bad 🤕🤕🤕
After watching this video, I think that here in europe, the Robbe Geronimo was a PB car.
The rims from the PB Ace looks identical to the ones on the Geronimo.
It was sold as 2WD and 4WD.
Oh fantastic I’ll have to Google that one 😊😊😊
WOW NICE
Hey thanks for watching 😊👊🏻
Hi Glenn,
you quite surely know of the Thunder Tiger 4WDS, a Hotshot clone.
If you are planning to do a wrap-up of what people came up with here in the comments, l would love to hear what you think about this one.
Keep it up, love your videos on this new channel. 👊🏼
Fantastic information my friend thank you 😊
Yeah I actually wasn’t planning on doing a follow up video but with the response I’ve had I’ll definitely be doing one now 😅👊🏻
I don't have a suggestion for the super rare ones, but I always want someone to introduce the 4WDS ones like the Incident you mentioned.
Watch this space my friend 😅👊🏻
Great memories, great channel. Thank you. There was a rc car called a Zerda, but I can’t remember the manufacturer. Other than that I reckon you’ve probably got most of them covered.
Fantastic yeah the Zerda was made by Hirobo 😊😊😊
Hope you pickup a lot of vintage Nikkos.
They only made three cars, two are rare and the other is Uber rare 🤕
These are already cars I didn’t know about mostly. I couldn’t think of a single car i didn’t think you would know of already.
Yeah that really obscure stuff is incredibly hard to get information on 😅
What about the Nichimo Exceed Pro 443? Also had 4W steering. Super hard to find.
Yeah I know that one, as you say rare and very expensive now if you can find one 😊👊🏻
Some good content coming up there Glenn, and loving your enthusiasm for the new channel...Gotta say the only one of those cars I knew of was the marui so always good to see something new or in this case old. All the best.Gaz
Excellent I’m glad you’re liking it so far Gary 😊👊🏻
The MRP highroller, great looking vintage rc monster truck that is unfortunately quite fragile.
MRC Thunder king, pretty well known but unique monster truck, MRC has a bunch of pretty neat looking kits worth checking out online at least.
There is a swedish rc manufacturer called carlsson, made pan cars in general & some of them were made offroaders by putting larger wheels & tires on them bit late 1970's - 1980's stuff
Flying point, hirobo, yankee might have some interesting models as well.
Fantastic information thanks for sharing this with us my friend 😊👊🏻
I always thought the Alien mid 4 was a cool car with its belt drive 4wd driveline and the body was awesome.
Yeah definitely is a cool car my friend 😎👊🏻
Good list.
Another list would be interesting, say like ''Top 5 RC Cars I WANTED to own when a kid''.
Oh yeah that’s a cool idea 🤩👊🏻
Love to find a Hirobo Tomcat, or a royal ripper!
Royal Ripper 🤩🤩🤩
Nice video dude….Great list, a couple that I want are the SG Coyote 2wd or 4wd….AYK Bobcat and Buffalo/Sidewinder…..Yokomo 834b Wonder dog fighter…..Hirobo Alien Mid 4…….and the Hirobo Invader…..think that’s enough for now!!!
Wow that’s a superb line up my friend 🤩🤩🤩
Hi Glen, my first RC was a Marui Shogun and now i'm hunting one for ages. Cool to see, that you also have this buggy on your radar :-) Good luck getting your top five together :-) Cheers - Christoph
Hey good luck to finding one my friend 😊👊🏻
That shogun is very similar looking to the Turbo Optima
Yeah the shell is super similar in shape 😊👊🏻
Here's one for ya glen, TAG SG Coyote, think they did a 4WD & 2WD version, from memory it was a italian manufacturer.
Great channel mate, keep up the awesome 👊
Hey Sam 👋🏻
Haha yes I know that car it’s such a unique chassis design 😍
Really love your passion for rc man. I subbed yesterday... Just wanted to let you know that you're doing great work, Sir.
Hey Glenn, I have a shogun but obviously located in Australia
Hey I’ve actually now got one my friend 😊👊🏻
My god that Shogun is an absolute stunner,I have never herd of one or seen one before, its beautiful 😍, I love the black and gold colour scheme,so much reminds me of the old Lotus F1 cars👌.I really hope u manage to eventually get one 😁
Thanks Carl yeah it’s a stunning looking car isn’t it my friend 😍
I can get hold of a new unbuilt one
Yeah I like what you are saying my friend, today’s 2nd hand market is really quite ridiculous tbh 🤕
I’m really hoping it’ll settle down soon and get back how it was 😇🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hey Glenn how did I miss this video??!!?!!?
I’m not sure if anyone mentioned the MRP Shotgun - it’s a 4wd 10th scale beauty but I’ve never managed to get hold of one myself. Also TAG made one called the Jet I think it may be similar to the Geronimo I saw someone mentioned. Even weirder - there’s a Yankee Electra on EBay currently for ridiculous money 😔
This is going to be awesome man this stuff is what I absolutely love for!!!
Oh, in case you need a radiant to convert to a boost I’m your guy - might be more trouble than it’s worth but I believe it can be done 🤔
I know a guy in the UK with multiple ACE kits, he might be willing to part with one I’ll chat him up! He may watch your channel anyways 😄
Oh wow thanks Wade 😊😊😊
Great vid, as usual. I'm not sure i see the beauty in your #1 pick, but that's part of the fun, eh?! Mainly tho, i wanted to say how jazzed i was to see the AYK Boost on your list- what a gorgeous car, box, chassis, body, everything! Very bold of AYK to go all in on that orange colour for the A-arms...!? Full disclosure, I am biased, since i own a ratty old black one (as you were recently made aware) here in Ottawa. Happy R/Cing!
Haha welcome to the channel my friend 🤩👊🏻
Were the wheels handed on the shogun? A common detail that has been overlooked in autoworld with that style of turbine wheel styling!
Oh good question of which I don’t know 🤔🤷🏼♂️
Excellent thanks Russell I’ll have to have a look on Google my friend 🤩👊🏻
It was also called the road runner. I still have a body, wing and bumper on my grasshopper. I may have a broken chassis too? The chassis had cool extra details, louvers and textures molded in👌
Hi mate I have just subscribed to the channel in the link I will watch some of his videos later
Fantastic thanks buddy 😇👊🏻
Thats one crazy top 5, some rare cool cars there and i bet there is someone out there willing to sell them to you.
Haha we will see my friend, people don’t really tend to sell these cars, so my best hope is some kind of barn find 😇😇😇
I'm sure Keith will have one he can give you.lol That fella is super generous
Cool bro!! we really like the vintage RC you have 😍, subbed bro.
That’s fantastic welcome to the channel my friend 😊👊🏻
Ooh, you've picked some real corkers there mate!! As for your chances of getting most of them, 2 chances, slim and none🤣🤣 Seriously though, I hope that you can get at least 1 or 2 of them for your collection, you definitely deserve it for the excellent videos that you always put out👍👍
Thanks Barry fingers crossed my friend 🤣👊🏻
*Algorithm Bump!*👍
Haha thank you 😇🙏🏻
Hi Glenn in my teens I had a mantua unika, I would love another but cannot find them anywhere. Don’t suppose you have any tips on finding one?
I hope you get a vintage Rc10 for the channel!
Always on the lookout for one 😅👊🏻
Hv one curious of what you think? New build new condition KYOSHO/ COX 4WD/4WS GALLOP PRO with stock and Le Mans Pro motor, 2nd set of Orig. Option House all terrains, manual, stickers, gears... Rare?
Hey 👋🏻
Yeah it’s not really a car I know but it does sound pretty cool 😎
Hi Glen. You like the RC10?
Yeah I love it Sven what a game changer that was my friend 😍
Hopefully I’ll get one in the future 😇🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@RCLegends2022 Yep they are really nice. I had a Nichimo Luminous as a kid. Pretty hard to find now.
the one I always wanted to get when it was out was the traxxas monster buggy but I was that a lot for an rc now I kick myself for not having got it then
Mate what I what is the tamiya cal sonic skyline gtr 2001 , item #58285, ta04s chassis, so rare to find and get
That’s a lovely kit 🤩👊🏻
Loving this channel Glenn, do love Tamiya Legends but this channel and the content your discussing of rare cars and other brands is so interesting my friend.
Surprised you didn’t mention a Yokomo Super Dogfighter variant in that lineup or a AYK Viper which are lush.
Btw I have a X10 nib and other rare nib kits in the humble stash lol
Can’t wait for this channel to go full steam ahead 👍
Oh wow you have some superb nib stuff my friend 🤩🤩🤩
I used to race a Mugen Bulldog. Would love to get one but only ever seen one that is more expensive than a kidney. G
Oh yeah I know that car, it’s a cool looking thing Gareth 🤩👊🏻
And Muggen Mercury
You need a Yokomo Superdogfighter pal.
Yeah that would be nice but have you seen the prices of them today 🤕🤕🤕
Is the incident chassis carbon fiber?
The special yellow one he’s building is a MRP carbon but the kit is a bath tub chassis
Try looking up a Traxxas Cat it looks a lot like a Tamiya buggy
Excellent I’ll have a look 😊👊🏻
So… a soft premiere? Lol
Honestly, I’d thought you’d jumped the gun but I’m excited for this new channel.
Thanks for watching my friend 😊👊🏻
Interesting, we only had Tamiya in 1990 Glasgow, what else was going on?
Good stuff Glen💪
You must of had Kyosho as well?
Can't remember seeing it, was all airfix and Tamiya in my street.
Not a lot of folks could afford RC cars. Or maybe we were cheap lmfao
Glen is this your channel to what about tamiya legends?
Hey Bruce 👋🏻
Yeah this is my new 2nd channel, basically every non Tamiya.
Tamiya Legends continues as normal my friend 😊👊🏻
How is the rarity of the Boost compared to the Pro Radiant?
I remember Tandy (uk) had 2 or 3 models , (probably Tamiya rip offs) but I can’t remember what they were called
Oh cool we’re they hobby or toy grade Rob?
@@RCLegends2022 I’m sorry it was maplin not Tandy there was a lot of toy grade stuff but Im sure they did a couple of hobby grade ones too
Hope someone reaches out to you and make a good offer or to. Not much into nitro, are you?
Hey thanks Andy 😊
Well I’ve now actually got one of those cars on the way to me 😅
As for nitro I’ve had a few over the years but never really wanted to keep with them 🤕
Do you have a particular one in mind?
