Hey guys! Remember to clear out those sprayers before you decide the Fragrance has gone bad, typically spayers can hold Fragrance that's oxygenated and turned while the juice inside may still be quite intact. Thanks for the video!

Don’t throw out the “turned” bottles quite yet. Sometimes what smells rancid is the little bit of fragrance in the atomizer that has had time exposed to air. If you spray several times to clear the old gunk from the atomizer what’s in the bottle might still be good.

Sometimes the bad odour is old perfume stuck in the sprayer; it can go away after a few spritzes when you get to the un-oxidised juice 😂but I am sure you are aware of that and thank you for this great video ❤😂

This has got to be one of my favorite videos. Watching you two go through the bags was so much fun, I was smiling the entire time. When I saw that whole bag of Chanel.... the day Nordstrom opened in Santa Barbara, I had to stop (first day driving all the way back to Alaska), and Coco was the first thing I tested. Bought that and a bottle of Boucheron and headed north. For years, those were my two favorites. Thanks for bringing that happy memory back!

Oooh a few from my past here! I had Gucci envy, 212, eau dynamisante (which I still wear!), Isabella Rossellini’s manifesto & Chloe Narcisse was the first grown up perfume I bought myself when I was maybe 17/18. It’s funny how scents are so tied to time & place! Thanks for the trip down memory lane 😊

This has always been a fantasy for me,.. to go somewhere and find all these old perfume bottles,.. these lost gems. This was one of the best hour , seven minutes and 6 seconds off my life. You guys are such a joy to watch. You guys have such a nice " will and Grace" vibe . Please more videos .
Wow, what a crazy haul. This reminded me of going to my aunt's house as a kid. She was a cosmetics manager for Belk department stores and she used to bring home extra testers or bottles they couldn't sell because the wrapping was torn or box became scuffed. They were supposed to just throw them out but she kept them all. Over a 20+ year career there, she accumulated a ton of stuff. She had an entire spare bedroom full of laundry baskets filled to the brim with bottles. She gave me some of my first frags back in the early 1990s and is the reason I'm into fragrances today. This makes me wonder if she still has any of them. Haven't been over to her house in ages. She could be sitting on a gold mine.
THAT'S AMAZING. I recently found out that MFK in Paris throws out old stock or reformulated stock. WTF. That's annoying and quite wasteful!

This was such a fun watch. It’s very clear that you and Dahlia have a ton of fun together. The Chanel pure Parfums are such a SCORE. I LOVE Baiser Vole. Clarins Eau Dynamisante and Goutal Mandrigore have been on my list to smell for ages.
My best ever perfume score was a box of around 25 mostly vintage classics (along with > 100 old dabber samples) for $75. The seller wanted to do an in-person only sale and they lived in a city far from me, but luckily a friend was willing to pick it up for me and then I arranged for the box to hitch a ride to my city with another friend several months later lol. Some of the highlights were a bunch of the classic Guerlains (and a couple of discontinued Aqua Allegoria’s), Bal à Versailles, Caron Bellodgia, Caleche, and Balmain de Balmain (LOVE). I am still wearing through the samples a year and a half later and have made so many amazing discoveries.
Fell asleep to fragrance videos, woke up 15 minutes into this. Ended up finishing the whole thing. I was amazed by how they knew so many of the houses, bottles etc, I did not grow up around fragrances to have such a knowledge base and find it fascinating.

The Bijan was definitely a men’s. The men’s always came in a frosted bottle and the women’s came in a crystal bottle.
Both wonderful powerhouse fragrances of the 80s. At the time was super popular and was only sold in higher end stores.

I bought a tester bottle of Queen by Queen Latifah about 5 years ago for $18 because of the cognac note. It's now going for $200 on Ebay and you have two of them! I'm surprised that there wasn't a Calvin Klein Obsession for Women in there! I watched the whole thing and enjoyed it, although I did view it at 1.25 speed for the last half hour. The Polo Crest is also going for over $200.

A Dozen Roses was meant to issue 12 rose fragrances, but for some reason, finished with only six. My husband bought me all six since rose is my signature scent. I still have them and wear them from time to time.

Great video, I'd be happy with the Chanel haul! Had high hopes for the vintage Hermes Caleche, which I loved in the 70s. The new one was a mere shadow.

Old spray bottles with liquid in the tube need numerous sprays to get the oxidized liquid out, then the fresh juice is typically in good shape.
Lancome Poeme is a treasure, used to love it, interchangably with Christian Dior Dolce Vita.

AND you got my bottle of Presence! 🤣I have about the same amount left in mine. One of the best designer cinnamon apples ever made. Don't forget that 5 sprays are sometimes needed to clear the turning stuff in the tube. AND a vintage Bowling Green. Amazing. Shame you never got to spray Crave. Basically Costa Azzurra from 2002. I, too, own Guy Laroche "Horizon" and Mont Blanc "Presence" (only I don't have that vintage bottle). I hope to try the FCUK and the Alfred Sung.

What a treat, like finding an old box in an attic but which contains your favorite things. Your knowledge of fragrances is INCREDIBLE. You knew almost every bottle. I hope you gifted your very cool and clever helper with a few female frags :)
When spraying old/vintage perfume that have been sprayed before, I spray 2-3 sprays to empty the sprayer first before sniffing, so you know that you get the juice from the bottle and not the one in the sprayer tube!
