      Cool!
      I didn't want to invest for now in an audio interface, thus I actively looked for this feature.

    Hi. I have a small desk like yours and here's the question. Doesn't you feel vibrate on the desk? It is very important to me when I play esports or battlefield games. And can you feel the air from the speakers? Because the mouse pad will be very close to the loudspeaker and I wonder if it will disturb me while playing. I currently have the old logitech x540

    • @frankelda9403
      @frankelda9403  3 года назад

      OK, I just did the test listening to deep bass music and pretty high volume.
      Directly on the desk, you feel the vibration. Not too strong, so I don't think it would really alter your performance while gaming (but I am not a gamer, so). It might give you a more realistic experience ;)
      For real, it is not very strong.
      The air movement by the speaker is not strong (or your ears will be damaged if you push at max all the time, be careful!).
      I just placed two foam pads from delivery under them and I can't feel any vibration at all on the desk. Actually, I may keep them like that!
      In the end, with moderate volume (which I highly recommend), you won't have any issues.

      @@frankelda9403 Many thanks for testing 😀 It explained a little that I will choose these speakers or maybe something from Edifier 😀 Maybe you tested Edifiers 1600ii and other similar Edifiers ?? Or maybe you tested something similar with the power of these Edifiers on such a small desk ??

      @frankelda9403  3 года назад

      @@caacbda1 No problem :)
      I haven't tested the Edifiers and these are my first monitors ever.
      Out of curiosity, why are you looking for studio monitors? Are you also making music?
      I ask that because they are not made for music listening in general. I mean, I use it also for that, but the real benefit is a certain "transparency" of the frequencies allowing you to do better mixing when you create or produce music.
      It can be less flattering to the ear or even less pleasant than audio speakers.

    • @caacbda1
      @caacbda1 3 года назад

      @@frankelda9403 The speakers I only use for playing it, mostly in Fps like batellfield, watching movies, and listening to music like dubstep, EDM, house, some rap and pop. You will only realise the true potential of these speakers by using audio interface and plugging into the unbalanced inputs of the speakers. Using the RCA inputs to produce balanced outputs will only result in a desktop like speakers sound. Using unbalanced inputs from audio interface will give you speaker outputs that are life like ...meaning you will experience that the singers are actually in the room with you!! I just set up my Eris3.5 two days ago and amazed by that. I highly recommend you to invest in a focusrite 2i2 3rd Generation audio interface. Good value for money.

      Thanks for the suggestion! I actually wanted to buy a focusrite audio interface, but it wasn't in my budget. Maybe a treat for Christmas ;)
      I already very pleased with the sounds using the jack cable.

      Which cables did you use? I bought some braided Colicoly cables from Amazon which looked well-made and had good reviews, but they delivered only weak and unstable sound. I am also trying to connect Eris 3.5 to my Scarlett.

    Don't place it too close to the wall! You're blocking the air vents/ports.

    • @monz7951
      @monz7951 3 года назад

      Well actually those are bass reflex ports so if you place them too close to the wall you will have a bass boost on certain frequencies, which is bad if you want a flat/transparent frequency response for mixing. They should state the minimum distance in the manual
