you were hiding your emotions and i am sure your eyes became wet- that is what happens when you refresh your memories of your elders who were close to your heart and i am sure they will be happy looking at you sharing those memories and remembering them and they will be blessing you from whereever they are and i can say that is one of the reasons of your success that their blessings are always with you. keep it up. Honestly most people watch your videos not just for the recipes or the hisotry of cuisines and science behind the ingredients but also for your engaging conversations which brings back memories of the past .
Today, I tried this recipe of yours, and it turned out amazing. I replaced sugar with Sugarfree Natura for my diabetic father, and he relished it a lot. I also made Pav Bhaji and Gajar Halwa and invited all my family members over. Till now, I am still receiving their compliments. Thanks a ton for this simple, easy, and thoroughly explained recipe. When you mentioned your Biji, it took me down memory lane, and I thought of my Nani ji. I missed her a lot. Even today, wherever I go, I always search for her food's taste.
Gathering courage to make gajar ka halwa for my kids today for the first time after my pappa left me....coz like ur biji....making gajar ka halwa wid pappa was a tradition for me in my house...it took me 8 years to gather that courage and make halwa for my son as he misses my pappa ke hath ka gajar ka halwa....aap ki biji ki baatein sun ke pappa ke saath gajar ka halwa banane wala samay fir se aankho ke saamne aa gaya...❤yes u r right sir...these are the traditions of our families...the legacy which we are carrying forward....😊
Bas jaab aapne kaha na ....carrot n milk Mai sweet add nahi karna, galna etc it was new for me...aur hum subscribe kar diya ...Bhai Aachi choti choti important tips bhi miss nahi karte ...

My Dadiji's name is also Surjit Kaur Brar, She have gone to a better place 2 years ago but her presence is always felt at home especially in Kitchen, a simple daal wala parontha made by her beats every dish with world have to offer.
Apart from a great chef..You are a gentle soul too..full of humanity and emotions and rooted by great family values!!!your face explained everything while talking about your Grandma..
Being a chef is not just a talent but an emotion and it feels ki kitne bhi recipes try kr le but apne mummy, dadi, nani ki recipes will always be the best. Emotions attached hota na. I remember my mom used to lightly fry the grated carrots in ghee and then cover it for 10-15 minutes in low to medium flame, before adding milk to it and then following the same process as Sir, you did. Usse kya hota hai, mujhe aaj bhi nhi pata. But I remember this being the sacred secret, she wouldn't share with anyone, except me. And now when I make it, people around find it commendable and phir mujhse iski recipe maangte. But now it is my secret 😁😁 But agar sach bolun toh it feels ki recipe se zyada hum kis pyaar aur nazakat se khane ko banate hai, woh ise zyada flavour deti hai.
Hats off to Ranveer Brar, the way he takes us through the journey of food.... I especially loved this episode as the chef was emotional when talking about bjee. Some memories are there for life.... Hey Ranveer I am Kashmiri and in our house gajerela was cooked as kheer and had rice in it. May be in punjabi household rice aren't added. I liked your comment about making Gajar halwa with orange gazar but you can't find red gajar in Turkey or other parts of Europe so we have no option but to cook halwa with orange gajar.
I can't see any recipe videos as I lack time and patience, I usually preferred recipe videos with music, the quicker ones. Since last many years I started watching your videos, I can't tell you how much I love to see your videos, you share knowledge, tricks, emotions, humor etc you nail it fully and it definitely brings smile on our face. And today this video made us emotional too. I share about your channel and recipes to others also. You rock it Ranveer. I saw you the most emotional in this video. Childhood memories and people who are no more with us ❤
Once I mistakenly put more milk while preparing Gajar ka halwa, so named it Gajar ki kheer 😋. Today I came to know it was Gajrela...😂 Also loved 😍 to see elder Eshan with Biji at 7:10 💝
U are the sweetest chef I know! Respect for your dadi. I was also emotional and thought about my Nani the same way. God bless you and your lovely family :-)
