I just saw the video from yesterday of the train locomotive on its side and the guy below says a year ago this thing caught fire! Looks like six flags over Georgia needs to step up their inspections quite a few notches, that includes the track too!
This guy caught on fire yesterday. The fire, which was at the front of the train, made the conductor jump out. She broke her leg in the process. Another employee was injured I heard but didn’t see her get hurt. I saw it catch on fire though. You would think this is the safest ride in the whole park, but in this case it’s actually the deadliest, I will pray for The employees that got hurt and since the hospital.
Many hardcore rail enthusiasts will probably blame Six Flags for converting the steam locomotives into diesel locomotives. Thank goodness you are putting the employees's safety first.
@@MelB868 No, when the boiler failed inspection instead of repairing it, they gutted the boiler, put in a small block Chevy motor with a chain drive to the main wheels. It was vandalism of the worst sort.

We heard about the derailment. We are curious what new steps might need to be taken to ensure an improved reliability along the railways at SFOG.

6:26 Hahah lie. I still have no clue how they can consider that a 3rd loop. Or the only triple looping coaster at that.
Six Flags Over Texas opened on August 5th, 1961.... not 1964. Wow.
Nice place at six flags
Ugh the horn in that ride is LOUD

It’s a whistle
Itd be way better if they just got an actual steam locomotive instead of that
