I'd definitely build a (somewhat) tiny home as well in Belize.I love Island life and Belize seems to have less crime than my birth island plus a relative have close ties to Belize. We could end up living in 3 different countries at different times in the future. I'm in a small home now ,1500 sq ft now and though the layout is not the most efficient we make it work..What size are you thinking of for your home? It’s not an ignorant question at all! I do identify as black, but I am a mixture of the mayan, mestizo, creole and garifuna cultures. That is the case for many people in Belize - being a mixture of cultures. Belize is very diverse and interracial families are the norm.

The banking process is pretty straightforward and depends on the bank you apply through. They usually asses the amount you qualify for and ask for various documents to support your application. But, I can make a video on applying for a mortgage as a first time homeowner, that could be helpful. 🙂

Thank you! My tiny home is going to be around 500 to 600 sq ft. A little bigger than a traditional tiny home but still not too far off 😊
