I feel that 😔
Tapi, ayam ga berminyak ngab

@@mrfuntastico4749 yowes pake minyak goreng biasa wkwk
My mom makes the BEST version of this but with an extra ingredient: Indonesian Sweet Soy Sauce (Kecap Manis). It's my favourite!!! 😋😋😋
There's a local version of this in my country called Humba.
Aku jg 🤣 pake kecap manis dan tauco manis sedikit
Mantap
I've been making this recipe for the last 3 months and my family loves it with rice and lettuce wraps! 🤩 谢谢了!
Does the pork come out crispy and tender?
thanks for sharing what you serve with. I bought this from the asian market thinking it was pork for seasoning beans, I just found out you can eat it alone but didnt know what to serve with.
This dish reminds me of a Filipino dish called Pork Adobo.
And Humba too
I wouldn't be surprised. We were trading with China and India before Spain discovered the Philippines. The Mexican adobo is totally different than Filipino adobo so I don't think it was influenced by Spanish people at all.
It does remind of pork adobo because of the color, but it tastes different
Edit: grammar
It is. Minus the cooking wine. We dont put cooking wine on it😊
@@exhausted12 i think adobo is spanish for marination and thats how spanish people called the way filipinos prepare their chicken. Spain really F up flipinos!
Chinese Singaporean here! I love your videos and how you’re introducing Chinese dishes to a western audience 💖💖
This makes me remember my mom pork belly too! I’m gonna ask her to make it later!!
Yesss
She got me in the end with the "or you'll hurt my feelings"
I'm cooking this right now - can't wait to try it!! 😋 Vietnamese have a braised pork belly dish too but of course there's fish sauce in it, so this is new to me. Thank you, Vivian!
Ohhh boy, I can literally smell my childhood all the way from the computer screen. Whenever my grandma or her siblings cook. It's ALWAYS delicious
The “Hello Hello” at the start of every video is so charming.
I'm a vegetarian and I can't cook these recipes..still I can't stop watching her videos ..she's so adorable
Yes you can! Substitute proteins. Asian markets have amazing vegetarian/vegan proteins made with tempi, mushroom, and other plant based materials.
It works with fried tofu and add veggies. With veggies is faster to cook.
Thanks for the idea :)
Use Jack fruit to make it.
Amazing! Chinese and Filipino dishes are indeed intertwined. Adobo 🌸
