First Time Using Split Fire 3255 Log Splitter | 2 Way Splitter with Log Lift

I am now the proud owner of a Split Fire 3255 Log Splitter! It's a Canadian-made, 2 way hydraulic splitter with a fast cycle time, and a favorite of rental companies due to its speed and durability. My machine features a log lift which doubles as a table, lights, and is highway towable.
In this video I am breaking in my new wood splitter with some 20" pieces of Sugar Maple.

Nice splitter! I am looking at the same splitter but trying to decide about the 4 way option. I think the knife is taller on the dual split vs the 4 way splitter knife. Now that you have used this splitter what are your thoughts on the 4 way option? Do you wish you had the 4 way? Thanks!

Cool! I have never used a 4 way so I am not the best person to ask. The dual split is def more versatile for any log size. The 4 way would def be handy for appropriately sized logs, so it probably depends on the logs you will be splitting. I think the 4 way comes with a dual split head as well... but i might be wrong. If i could pick only one option i would probably stick with the dual split, but if you have the budget for the 4 way and the right logs i think it would be a good investment.
