I find our Split-Fire to be more than twice as fast with two people that work well together, like my wife and myself. Very efficient machine. I love how high yours is.
I think you need to add some grip tape to the table. So it doesn’t vibrate off the rounds or the resplit pieces. Now I see the bent edges on the table.
I really like the two way splitting concept. Obviously you won't have as much splitting power on the return stroke. Looks like you need more tractor to move those totes. That wasn't even near full. Sounds like the perfect excuse to buy a bigger tractor, trade or sell the ford to put towards it. The new one will be able to do everything it does, plus lift a lot more. I'm thinking 35 - 40hp, or more if can swing it. Get something in the range of 1800 to 2000 lbs lifting capacity. There's no replacement for displacement whether you're talking about engines OR hydraulic cylinders.
If you would like TRACTOR to try and lift that a little higher, then you need to load the stack of wood closest to the tractor is high as you can, and leave the stack, that’s closest to you on the splitter as low as you can. This will put the majority of the way closer to your tractors, less than 24 inches from your pins that should allow you to pick that up
Good Evening Sir, You have a very nice Set Up 👍😇👌Very Nice Music 🎵👌😇👍 It is very nice to see Your Lovely Wife Back 👍😇🌹Hey The Puppy Dog Is Doing Very Well and happy too 😇👍You have a high sence team work of humor both of you 👍😇👌Ho HO Are Going To Put Yourself for potatoes Pelling Duties Sir ( buying with out informing THE Finance Minister ) 🤔 Ho Boy, 2/3 of 1/3 of a face cord 🤔🧐🤣👍Ho HO HO by the look of your wife, You are in trouble 🤣🤣👍👍Cheers 🍻🍻
Thanks for watching, Dave! Olive is doing really good. It was nice to be working outside with Jennifer - it's surprising how busy coaching keeps her, so we don't get to work on many things together during this season.
If you are going to do the bundle selling, save all the scraps for kindling and sell them as well. Pretty sure, Mrs Purple is not getting you anything for Christmas since, you bought soooo many toys while she was coaching? 🤫
I've been picking up those scrap pieces for our own kindling - but I like the idea of bundling some of them up as kindling bundles. I need to find a better way to catch them before they hit the ground. Funny you say that about Christmas - Jennifer just ask yesterday, "What do you want for Christmas?" and I couldn't think of a single thing. :)
I've been dreading thinking about it. We still really like the 2265 because of the light weight and because it was our first real splitter. But there's probably no need to have two of them. Thanks for watching!
Those were some of the largest rounds I've seen so far and the Split Fire handled them beautifully. 🪵🪵🪵🪵 Definitely a time saver and proving its worth! Excellent work, Chad! Thanks for sharing.
Good equipment makes the job easier and fun.
Thanks for watching!

The increased height is awesome! Well worth the additional cost.
hi there good splitting
Thanks, John!
That’s a nice splitter!
Thanks! I'm really happy with it.

Really happy?
Maybe I had the wrong idea.
You were splitting almost every piece that went underneath.
GO BILLS !!!! From upstate NY
Thanks for watching!
Come on Jennifer! Help the poor guy out! lol
She's a great helper the majority of the year. And I enjoy her enjoying volleyball season.
@@PurpleCollarLife just figured I’d harass her. Lol
Nice splitter, I like the height of it.
Thanks, Larry. Me too.

It does have the bent up edges. It might not be a bad idea to add some grip tape though.

Thank you for watching! Good advice.
Love the video just need to work on that sweatshirt lmao you know you’re in Steeler country lol.
I root for the Steelers except for when they play the Bills. They're my #2 team. :)

You may as well sell your smaller splitter.

My recommendation is that you sell the new one because it's not helping you and it is still basically a new machine.
Why don't you make a video of wood sound?

Thanks 👍
Most of the time he was doing only two-way splits. It moves more slowly than his other splitter does.
