do you apply the QT gamma compensation LUT at 100% That's always looked a bit heavy for me so i typically add it with a lumetri effect in creative at a lower percentage like 50 or 70. But i've also never applied it to ungraded footage, it's always just a final step for exports so not sure if it works differently on log footage
I always apply it at 100% and also do it to footage that has been coloured. It looks much darker in the export window at full opacity but never actually comes out looking nearly that dark or contrasty.
I only use popular music in my sports videographer reacts series, where the songs are part of submitted edits and I feature them for analysis. I don’t monetize those videos so most copyright holders will monetize the video for themselves and allow me to use the song without a copyright strike as their song is part of a full video piece and not just being ripped off. Other than that video series all of the music I use is from Musicbed or Artlist.
You're the man, Peter. Always appreciate these!
Appreciate you watching!
Super helpful video Peter ! Definitely something I’ll work on adding to my workflow
Glad this helps!!
love your content Peter! this video and all the others I have been until now!
Amazing I’m so glad you’re enjoying it
I've found that the proxies created on Shutter Encoder only work on an older version of Premiere. Strange but still saves a ton of time either way.

Hello Peter! Thanks for your great content!! Btw how do you manage to use original licensed music w/o getting strikes from YT? Thanks in advance!
