The speaking parts have been taken from the war action flick "Purgatory" about the Chechen-Russian conflict in the mid 90's. He possessed a fairly low resonant bass speaking voice.
Finally I got to hear his speaking voice!
He had the same illness that my father's best friend had, brain cancer...R.I.P.

His speaking voice isn't unlike Zlatopolsky's, and the same goes for his low range...He didn't dip into fry (at least not completely) even on the lowest notes here.

Haha. It's actually from a movie. Ort did a voiceover for one of the characters in the Russian film Purgatory (ЧИСТИЛИЩЕ) 1998.
