I just don't get the market now for 7,8 or more strings. Alt tunings will get me where I need to go in the de-tuning low tone range IMO. you rock bro!!

didnt know they were limited editions. how come u opted for the lower end apex and head? the upper one has the 5 piece neck w/ bebinga or w/ever and a few compass inlays. not sure bout heads guitar. i saw a lil ibanez vid 1 day before u put yours up lol. damn ur good and fast too! dont take this the wrong way, i'm really tryin to figure it out! theres something w/ ur tone that has that bee hive thing goin on and on diff amps too which is odd. maybe too much gain at lower volumes? i've deff done that lol. i just wish i could see ur singnal chain and settings. tryin to help. does ur mesa or legacy 3 sound similar? if i recall, the legacy was super smooth and a mesa is pretty much a monster that korn's used a lot. idk man, can u tell me what u have amp/ settings/ cab and if ur runnin ur hotplate? wanna make ur tone crush and kil lol!
The one Munky uses on stage has side Rectangular position markers, however, the production model does not.

KOMRAD gets my vote. although if I end up actually owning one, I'm gonna take it to a tech and add MY 'guitar quirks' hehehe. to me, I can do it more with the KOMRAD. that latest APEX is too 'set and specific'

I love ibanez,have 2 ibanez guitars and i am a fan of korn but...Comrad based on the RGD series but its not baritone?Head play on baritone version of this guitar but comrad is not.Why?Its stupid...

Munky's one would be nice in a 6 string
Ibanez put some tiny strings on for dropping them that low. Guess it's a cost thing and they assume people play at B standard.
I like the munky one the head sounds muddy
7 strings wooot woot! Are you planning on upgrading or swapping any electronics on them? I find basswood to be an awesome wood, they have a lot of snap and react well to chugging riffs. Nice finds TK.
What to make better? American pickups, premium craft, awesome sound

We should have more products that are made in the USA. I know that I would buy them to help the economy. That way we could have more bang for the buck when comes to buying guitars and other music gears. There are too many products being outsourced to other countries. This will to questions of quality control. Peace, Flood!
I feel like this video is a troll...
Before Vai there was a player who had a Fender with 7strings and even with Vai released his JEM7 again we never saw a mass of 7's being churned out and yet for the life of me I can't understand the sudden fascination for 7.s or 8/9'S for that matter. Maybe the sudden craze / appeal of because of mediocre bands playing such models with drop tunings .. Also more importantly every famous player there has all played on 6strings
