  • We install intellitronix gauges in a 1977.
    *IF YOU OWN A 1978, JAMES BRADFIELD HAS A GREAT TYPED TUTORIAL ONLINE*
    YOU WILL NEED:
    -Phillips screwdriver
    -Socket Set
    -Pliers
    -Crumpet
    -wire snips
    -zip ties
    -conduit
    -roll of black/red/white wire
    -butt connectors (optional)
    -electrical tape

    So on the original Harnes I have to create grounds for each one ? Then put the female connectors ? Just trying to clarify I don’t want to mess anything up

    Can you share a sounrce for the T10 connectors that fit...I ordered some from amazon and they dont fit!!

    I don’t understand using the printed circuit board?? Is it reinstalled and used or just a reference? It seems sketchy without using the center connector or the attachment points of all the old gauges. I must be missing something?!

      The circuit board is screwed in place. If you look closely there holes for it to line up. It’s then clamped by the smoked plate.

    I bought a 1980 C3 lately, you mention at the beginning of the video: disconnecting the "mat light", can you tell me what the "mat light" is for?

    I had problems with the smoked piece sliding into the center bezel, the tabs keep it from seating properly. Still trying to figure this out…

      Dremel the slots where it sits into, just widen them up a tiny bit

    when you look at the instrument cluster do you see the electrical board of the mph and the rpms or is that just the video picking it up???

    What color did the purple dimmer go to
    Left turn and right signals
    The brake
    And high beam?

    What ever you do. Don’t tell anyone how the purple wire hooks up. Bc it’s to important to mention
