love this tablet. Bought it for my 3 year old son on a prime day sale this year! He thinks it's amazing and for those who say that it is slow....it's a KIDS tablet. Not an ipad. They aren't using it to do work, for school, they aren't switching browsers constantly. They are using it to play games and read books and watch videos. So they don't need it to be speedy fast.But that's not the point. I like it because it's not an ipad. So if he breaks it's not the end of the world . I can control what he does on it with the parental controls and he likes it because with the Amazon Kids + there is so much content...that's for kids!
@@mikeandroid3512 there is an easy work around; with Amazon Kids + you do get pre downloaded videos from RUclips that are made for kids which is why you might find some Cocomelon and Peppa Pig and Pixar Cars and Ryan’s Toy Review on there but sometimes they don’t have a video your kid wants. So if you swipe up, exit out of kids using your code…that brings you to the home menu for adults which looks like a regular tablet. You would then go into setting, profile and parental controls: chose your child’s name: I would click Sawyer because that’s my child who’s registered at the moment, and then I would click add content. Which would give me an option to add videos from the web. You click that option and it would take you to RUclips. Choose the video your child wants to watch and when the video starts to play a green button at the top of your screen pops up and you hit that button which automatically puts the video on your child’s side of the tablet. Then you exit out of everything, put them back on the kid’s side of things which you do by going into Amazon Kids from the home menu and they have everything that they need! I hope this was helpful. Isn’t it true that you can’t get a proper RUclips app on this thing? Is there any easy workaround or can you just use the browser?
