    Dear Caroline!
Thank you for all the motivation you injected into my old body with your wonderful videos. I was looking for a long-distance -trail who will be "fair" to my old , worn-out knees and hips ( to much skiing and icehockey when I was young). Just found it!!
My daughter just finished 986 km between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediteranian hiking the GR 10 in France. I travelled your amazing country several times with a 4WD. When I told my family about my plans I got he answer "If you wait one more year, I will walk the trail with you". So.....next year no Australia (maybe good....lets ride out COVID) , but the Hoga Kusten Trail in Sweden, but 2023 you will find a "father-daughter-combo" in Southwestern Australia!!

Oh Caroline. We totally got it when you started crying leaving the forest giants 🌳 They truly are guardians looking over you ❤ Your reaction was completely apt. Thanks for sharing. You are our inspiration for this hike 🙏

More great footage! I loved the treetop walk. We have something similar here in Singapore, although it looks like it's a lot shorter than that one. Not far to go now in this amazing journey. I can't wait for the next episode!

There is a great tree top walk south of Hobart in Tasmania, much higher and longer than the walpole one, with a beautiful suspended lookout too.

Hi Caroline. With the WA border now open, it is happening - I can finally start my Bib Track thru hike next month. Quick question for you: did you send your bounce box ahead to post offices and if so what do you have to do for the post to hold you package for you; or did you send them ahead to an accomodation places who would hold them? Love the series. Mick

What an exciting time, I bet you can't wait. We generally sent both the food drops and the bounce boxes (personal ones and film gear) to the accomodation. Donnelly River only has a few delivery days as they don't have direct mail, so we skipped DRV for the Bounce boxes. We also skipped Peaceful Bay as they don't have a post office to send from. We didn't send one to Northcliffe as we didn't plan to stay there, so can't advise on that. We found that because post offices were generally closed on weekends, it was better to have it waiting for us at the accomodation. Just call ahead and let them know. Be aware weekends will also impact your ability to send, but you can include a few pre-paid satchels IN your bounce box and then just drop it in the mail box on weekends. We often sent the bounce boxes via express mail, just to be sure.
