So wonderful that you were able to walk the track and share it with us and it must have been an extra surprise that you enjoyed solitude to the extent that you did. This adventure might well have been really inspiring for you and it certainly was for me. Many thanks Ruby, you are a precious gem, especially when sufficiently caffeinated🙏☕🎆☸
Thank you Ruby! This content is what so many people actually need. Your joy and positivity is so helpful, as well as your healthy expression of sadness, intrigue, awe and contentment. And because you've authentically shared your experience - the trail has now provided for them too 😊. What an absolute legend you are for "just being you"!!!!
Great effort and an amazing adventure, you are a natural story teller. Nothing wrong with enjoying your own company, far less complicated. There is something magical about getting away from ‘civilisation.’ Thanks for sharing your experience, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to the next one.
Thank you soooooo much for your beautiful, light, professional doco. Brought back so many memories of E to E. I love it. You are a very talented woman. CONGRATS Dave O Neill Perth WA
This video was masterful. I intended watching it in instalments due to the length, but once I started, I couldn't stop. Your warmth, your enthusiasm and your down to earth Aussie commentary, melded with the classic Aussie environments you were showcasing, made the whole thing compelling. My daughter recently did a 7 day hike in south-west Tassie. Watching this video was just like sitting with her over a glass of wine to hear the story and look at the images, both good, and when food was not delivered, not so good. If this video could not get enthusiastic audiences on mainstream media, I would be amazed. Thank you. I'm looking forward to the next one.
Thanks so much for sharing this incredible journey with us, Ruby. I laughed - and maybe cried - along with you. Once again a huge inspiration to us all to chase our own dreams. 🤗
Wow Ruby that has made my Friday start all the more inspiring; SW WA is simply stunning and unique and you showcased it brilliantly. Thanks for sharing, fabulous you..!
Engaging from the very first moment to the very last moment. When I first saw the video I thought 'What' over 54 minutes OMGoodness! And it felt like it passed in a blink of an eye. Inspiring, amazing, beautiful, stunning and more. Also congratulations on completing The Bibbulmun Track 😊
Oh Ruby I was so sad when you were coming to the end of the track too! Can you please make more long form hiking videos like this? It was sooo lovely 💛 Hope to cross paths out there one day - Katrina
Hi Ruby, thanks for sharing. I felt your emotions at the close of your journey and I've experienced the same. Don't forget, there is always the next adventure 👍👍
Hi Ruby I have been a fan for over four years. This travel blog is the second of yours I’ve watched. You’re fascinating authentic and just lovely. David
What an awesome, inspiring video. Reminds me of why I emigrated to Oz. I still remember the terror and exhilaration of being at the top of the Gloucester Tree by myself.
Absolutely epic walk and enjoyed every step with you . The scenery and your musings along the way were just gorgeous . Hope to see you do many more walks in the future and thanks for putting this one out there so we could all share your adventure .
Remarkable journey, thank you for sharing Ruby. I loved how you shared your thoughts along the way, some great insights that landed with me, I will start tomorrow differently 🙏
You make the best trail videos Ruby. You really captured the beautiful vibe of the Bibb and made me so nostalgic for my E2E. The Bibb was my gateway drug to the PCT. You are so ready for it as your next adventure.
Lovely video Ruby you are full of light, I was in the area at the same time as you but heading the opposite way by different means. Just stunning through the Karris and along that coast. I spent time at Peaceful Bay with my little furry travel companion. We didnt want to see any peeps either.
Ruby, your journalist skills and your natural wonder are awesome to watch. You got me re-excited about the Great north walk with your last vid, and now you’ve put the west coast on my radar too. Love your work ❤
It was really fun seeing you doing your interviews on tv this morning then seeing this side of you this evening. The Bib is definitely on my bucket list and seeing you complete it solo is inspiring. Well done!
Holy cow that was fantastic; what a spiritual & amazing experience. Never met you & never will but i was totally invested in that - so rapt for you that you did it & really got the mixed feelings: solitude win. All the best - on & off the trail Also: what marvellous music
Very Much Enjoyed Your "Mental" Journey! Many walk the trail, but few "Feel" It! A BIG YES to solo hiking! And a BIGGER Yes to hutting by yourself! I get it! I see you! Loved your little "Half way" Montage! Laughed till I cried! But I do think that a "Dorky" emu can do a better hand stand than you :). Love your work Rubes...Harry Hiker!
Amazing trek and amazing video. Your courage and positivity are infectious and your reflections wonderful. Your description of chapters in life, major and micro, emerging and being preserved by places we encounter and that become our 'home' for hours or a day is something that we are blessed to experience when we trek overland. Thank you for sharing it 🙂
Really liked the openness throughout the vid about the inner journey on the bibbulmun. On and off camera, you're character stood out over a demanding time, i really appreciate you're video. All the best, for the next adventure.
Hi Ruby, well done completing the trail, its a long way. The video was absolutely amazing, I really enjoyed watching it. A few years ago, I climbed the Gloucester Tree, and it certainly tests your nerves! Thank you so much for sharing your adventures. Take care 😊
Thanks for the video, was a great watch. I've done sections of track when I was a teenager in scouts, and watched a few end-to-end recounts of the other hikers, but I found myself very engaged with your journey, perspective and emotions. You have a great style of presenting and communicating, and connect very well with your audience. Would love to see more videos with you!
Brilliant effort, solitude with nature is the reward for your walk,in this overpopulated over stimulated world those peaceful moments are treasures...well done...
Thanks so much for taking the time to record your narration while out on the trail, as well as the superb scenery. I’m going to ride the Munda Biddi Trail later this year, so I’ve watched a few people’s MBT videos. Which is why the RUclips algorithm served up your video to me. I found it moving, inspiring, and simply beautiful in how you presented the forests and ecosystems of south-west WA. So good. Thanks again.
Hi Ruby, traveled the Bib track the same way you are going south to north have completed both ways, wonderful view and miss it. Spent 35 days alone in shelters during the last End to end
Such a wonderful journey. The breathtaking beauty along with your honest & heartfelt insights & feelings. Beautifully crafted with great imagery well edited, & a great soundtrack. Congratulations on your epic adventure & authenticity. I love your work. You have such a lovely spirit & warmth that shines through. Bravo. Huge fan.
Im on a month off, got back from vic east coast yesterday.Did some Albany last year truly incredible, you're more dedicated. Watching this is inspiring my nxt leg.Keep it coming
Have just stumbled upon your channel/ video. Awsomely inspiring. The family for years have tried to get me to go camping, but I have never seen the attraction. However seeing you enjoy the sceenary, bushland and being so content with your own company and solitude is something I may not dislike. Congratulations on your journey
What an unexpected little gem. Bravo on capturing your own beautiful, insightful and personal little adventure in our magic part of the world (I’m at mutton bird beach). Hand duck in the tea reflection was the best bit though 😂 💪🏻🙌🏻✌🏻
Really great video. Being an Aussie I've often wondered what the track was like. Though my long distance walking tends to have been in Spain for the last 10 years. Maybe I'll have to try something closer to home!
So few views.one of the most enjoyable vlogs I have watched even tho a few others of this area walk.Ruby is engaging, good camera work and beautiful walk.goin to give up the corporate world in 2025 and do this walk or cycle.this will be my inspiration❤😊
The Pingerup Plains were flooded when I did a SOBO. The beauty does not stop at the beaches, you are walking on one of the better trails, anywhere,...I am about to hop on the big bird and head for the Appalachian Trail, 3 weeks exactly, can't wait. You should check up on the history of the links between the BT & AT - Kezza
Hi Ruby great video , Dwelingup has a great visitors centre with toiliets, showers and a laundry. There are also good camping sites such as Nanga Mill which you probably pass through .The caravan park you stayed in has always been noisy and not very hospitable.
This is an impressive looking (and well shot) hike so it’s going on my bucket list. I can relate to this type of long distance hike having not long completed the AAWT. You should take a look at it if you haven’t already, it’s demanding but really worth the effort.
Amazing Ruby, inspiring stuff. Would love to know all the things that your mind did on this journey; surely there were enough draft limericks for a small book!
Thank you Ruby for sharing such a wonderful experience. To hear you talk about the joy of being alone really touched me as I have similar thoughts. Now how do you top this challenge? See you on the news. Keith

Beautiful. Perhaps you could do the Heysen Trail in SA if you ever have the opportunity. Lots of Cornish heritage in the mid north.
wow that was epic.
Loved it! Quite an adventure.
Please keep up the limericks, How about one about the trek?
Wow! Incredible
Thank you Ruby for sharing such a wonderful experience. To hear you talk about the joy of being alone really touched me as I have similar thoughts. Now how do you top this challenge? See you on the news.
