    While in Penang : must try Peranakan Food (Baba & Nonya dishes) , Rojak & Char Kuey Teow (suggest you try Ah Leng CKT with added prawns 🍤 special) ; for a really great desert try the black bean in white ball ginger infused water (hot or cold) ✅👍 if you have a group of friends to dine with go up to visit Hai Boey Restaurant up a hill Airport side of the island 🏝

    Your video brings Penang to mind. I visited Penang more than 10 years ago and I found the foods in the night market there were tasty but the water the vendors used to wash dishes looked like muddy water. The horrible hygienic conditions should be a big issue for the authorities to wrestle with.

    the best Laksa in Malaysia is Sarawak Laksa, according to the late Anthony Bourdain Food od the Gods.
