    I agree with justingt3rs, the force is in one direction and I think it would be applied in the flat surface where the back of the chair rests; the bolt holes are only fixing points;
    but the explanation of the software is very clear, it has helped me in the way of using the software, thank you.

    Nice work. Many of us will be happy if you post a video on creo assembly simulations (with different constraints), interfaces-bonded,contact.. (when and where to use)

      @@productONESolutions we had to build a station with a robotic arm to produce wooden tables, pick them from a conveyer belt, sand it, attach the legs and place it on another conveyer belt, and we had to do be able to change the exit conveyer belt after 10 produced tables and keep switching every 10 tables.

    i dont agree with your moment load, the force are all in one direction

      I agree with you. He should have set all the forces towards one direction, then he should have added a torque on the upper side of the plate to take into account the distance of the application point of the force

    why did you put a couple there for load?! is there a pivot between those 4 holes on the mating part?

    How to get safety factor simulate? Most usable factor in FEA.

    I am trying to do simulation for a lifting tool. I am applying 'pin' constraint at the lifting point & i am allowing the rotation for it. When I try to simulate the result i get an error that says - "The model is insufficiently constrained for the analysis. Please review the element connections,
    properties, and constraints in highlighted entities. If this is a modal analysis, then you may be
    able to obtain a solution by requesting additional modes."
    how to solve this?

    Good afternoon, thank you very much for putting this together. Does the free student version of Creo 5.0 come with Simulate? On both Creo Parametric and Creo Simulate, it said I do not have access, but I wanted to confirm with you if I didn't miss something.
