- Deeper than every ocean
Deeper than every river
That's what your presence brings to me
Revealing the words I listen
Seeing you in my silence
Learning I'm with you constantly
As I was before
If we were flowers
We would worship the sun
So why not now?
This high is shining brightly
Brighter than before
As the door was open wide
There inside was a diamond chair
Where I sat when I was young
I wrote down the words
Only when the young at heart
Can enter the real world
This chance I've waited for
For you to see
If I had chances I would spend them with you
To hold you close and let your love surround me
Deeper than before
And I know this love is real
(Deeper than every river)
Realize this is meant to be
That's what your eyes they say to me
You are listening to how I feel
So expectedly
(Brighter than every morning)
From the ocean to the sky
(Beautiful as the sunset)
Every river to the sea
Nature surrounds me constantly
We can hear love constantly
This is for you and me
Turn around and come deeper now
So what happens when I touch you there
You feel the words roll over you
Thinking of the better scenes
The memories
As everybody else just
Hasn't got the time
To help you anymore
'Cause if the reason for
The things that pleasure us
To please ourselves
Not pressure us
To give our ego
Some pleasure time
Can you imagine
Any reason
To know you're only fooling yourself
And then you'll understand why
You'll understand why
So if we choose to realize
All existence is a dream
This perfect resume to you
From me
Just had a tough time with magic
The death of ego
The moon
It was just coming through
Send me such a good time
In a letter form, tell me
The pleasure, no pressure
Pure imagination in a metaphoric dream
I get amazed like a true beginner
I get amazed like a true believer
I get amazed when I see you there
And I come alive
I believe I'm a true beginner
I believe I'm a true beginner
In your arms I can see it all
I can see it all
If we were flowers
We would worship the sun
So why not now?
This light is burning brightly
This light is burning brightly
Brighter than before
Brighter than before
Brighter than before
Brighter than before
Turn around and remember that
When it gets so low
As you finally hit the ground
Turn around and remember that
Now I'm standing tall
Standing on my sacred ground
Turn around and remember that
When it gets so low
As you finally hit the ground
Turn around and remember that
Now you're standing tall
Standing on sacred ground
Standing on sacred ground
Standing on sacred ground
I'll be knocking on door of age 70 soon. Every time I see a Yes video I think how blessed I was to have their music in my life and to see them (band or solo's) play live over the passing decades. My first show was at The Spectrum in Philadelphia in 1974 and I remember it like it was yesterday. All I can say is, 'THANK YOU'!
I was there too! Philadelphia Spectrum “Tales” tour 1974 This was the first time I saw Yes.
One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to..back in the day went to many..
This experience is not over..just a new link in the chain of life..will gather in a new place where love is the natural state...in a circle with all.. love... David
This song and performance ranks right up there with Awaken. Beautiful and brilliant. ❣️✌️
Completely agree. Epic 👌
Jon and Yes live on in the heart forever. Great song, and Awaken the greatest song ever written. Wish Steve would come back with Jon.Would be the ultimate!!!!RIP Chris and Alan.x.
Toujours cette voix magnifique
Ses balades, seul ou avec Vangelis un vrai régal ❤
There is no "Yes" without Jon Anderson.
Probably the best latter year Yes piece of music - fantastic lyrically, with the soaring vocals and symphony swells. Truly one of Chris Squire's best later bass parts. Can't wait to see Jon - the ONLY voice of YES - with the Band Geeks in a couple of weeks in California.
Get ready to have your mind blown
@@Eagle-tr5oj Yeah...I have watched a few of the different videos of the last tour and this one - they sound fantastic.
Just fantastic, the arrangement with the orchestra is an absolute triumph. The musicianship and harmonies unsurpassed.
First saw Yes in 1973 and this song for me stands along side their other greats.
I saw Yes do this song 5 times in concert before it finally hit me in 2002 in Chicago. (I saw the 2001 tour 4 times in America and Europe). And I was hit hard. Then it was magic for me. Thanks for posting Jon.😀
Maybe the best yes album
I first listened to Topographic Oceans when I was 10 when it was released. And I still listen to Yes songs nearly every day.
Life Changer!! Fantastic Music!! Thanks Jon
Loved Yes when Jon & Chris were there. RIP Chris & Alan ❤
One of my favorite Yes songs. Gentlemen of Yes, from the bottom of my heart, Thank You.
I remember this tour, also one of my favorite DVD's even though I can't find it right now. I know I have it somewhere.
Would have loved to have been there. Alan always looks like he is having the time of his life and Chris`s vocals are stunning.
Thanks Jon - we all love ya
LOVE on EARTH again with JESUS CHRIST inside US ❤!
Yes..yes...with the prince of peace... Jesus Christ...dave
Presence of… Greatness that is Jon…
The last truly great Yes song.
It’s YES songs like this with Jon Anderson harmonising with the bassist Chris Squire along with 🎸Steve Howe, Alan White & in this performance keyboardist Tom Brislin (maybe Adam Wakeman?) with orchestra - that brings me back to watch & listen to YES! Love it. Thanks for posting 👍😎
He has an amazing voice , very very good song
Chris Squires backup vocals are stellar as well. Jon is on another plane, but Squire has a lead singers voice as well. Don't think there will ever be another duo as fine as these two
This era of Yes finished up with a great album. Magnification is way more enjoyable to me to listen to than say 90125, Open Your Eyes, or Big Generator. Much like The Ladder, it sounded like Yes getting back to their creative roots, never mind what the standard pop sound of the day is.
I love Alan's great job In the Presence of
Music at stratospheric levels.
From the last true, YES album..Brilliant album.. so glad i was able to see this performed live (Brighton UK).❤
This man destroys archons
Yes it brings me to tears
5:49 full stop, exquisite melody 💙 feels like the richest place in my presence! I love YES, your songs bring back my Brother, may he rest in heaven playing the drums forever! Stephen Michael Klaass, my Brother, you are loved & remembered all through time. ♾️

Fantastic song ❤. I attended this concert in Amsterdam. Beautiful memories.
Instant connection with the Divine and angelic Thank you again
I remember this performance...Thank you Jon 😽RIP Chris and Alan 🩷 thank you YES for the vibes you created and shared with us.
Symphonic Yes. Thanks, Mr. Anderson.
I love this song very much.
Bless Roger Waters and Bless Palestine
Is this concert available as a CD?
Not sure about introducing the Eastern Mysticism or New Age elements in the video; should be more ambiguous, more universal for your global audience: Buddha doesn't really belong in Yesworld 😊
Respecting your comment, friend.
Yes, and maybe the universal language includes all philosophical views. I love YES because they are so open to truth, yours, mine & our truth. ✌️
Buddha/Siddhartha (thank you Herman Hesse)/The Awakened One has been there with us all along the journey since we were Close to the Edge, enjoying our Tales of travel. Namaste 🙏
