These guys sound better than any yes touring band of the last twenty years or so, if not longer , my dream would be to see Howe , who it seems is the one keeping a reunion from happening, get his shit together and call Jon , Rick and a past bass playing touring member and of course bill bruford, to tour and maybe record something , before it’s to late, I think that would be a small piece of heaven , I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
I remember seeing AWR in 2017, wondering how Jon's voice would hold up. I actually went to the show with some trepidation. My concerns were immediately dissolved when they launched into Perpetual Change - and it was like being transported back to the 70s. And here is is, 7 years later, as good as ever, at nearly 80 years old. The man is a freak of nature, and this band is killer.
I was there. It was MASSIVE AMAZING PSYCHEDELIC PROGRESSIVE CLASSIC YES MYSTERIOUS the BIG ROCK SHOW PURE MIRACULOUS MAGNIFICENCE MAJESTIC MUSICALLY FABULOUS EXPRESSIVELY ABSTRACT AND Totally LYRICAL ART rOcK🖌️🎨🖍️
Great to see Jon still rocking out. In a recent interview Richie says he tended to push these new songs in that direction, whereas Jon would be the moderating influence. If you think about it that was the dynamic between Jon and Chris in the early days.
Yes. This is better than the current version of Yes. That is all.

I love how Ritchie does a bass melody line around Jon's vocal lines like Chris used to do.
Great band and his voice is still great 👍
Not bad for a guy pushing 80 🥰

I was there 11th row center on 8/14/24. Celebrity Theater, Phoenix, AZ. Absolutely a fantastic show!! Anderson and the Geeks were outstanding!!
I hope it wasn't you making all that noise during the quiet part of Awaken!!

This the Yes song I would write if tasked with it, but you're breaking my heart with the backing tracks.
Wonderful !
Awaken is a staggeringly good song.
Excellent
