    I can define all that I see with the phrase "the ultimate visual experience" ....not only because of the artistic dexterity in pottery,calligraphy,woodworking,etc,but also for the excellently produced images and videos...

    Beautiful. Where can I purchase one of these?

  • @iatsd
    @iatsd 2 года назад

    And that, kids, is why things like that cost upwards of 100k yen each - you're paying for someone who freakin' knows how to use ceramic colours as a *wash* to get the effects he wants. That is *stunningly* hard to pull off consistently, let alone well.

    Doesn't red color fade away after a certain period of time?

    • @aoyamasquare
      @aoyamasquare  5 лет назад +1

      It's not that only red color fades away in time, but the color which was used in "over glazed decoration" fades easily by making a micro scratch using knives and forks or washing with abrasives.

    Can I go there and paint for him for free? That would be the most relaxing and meditative thing I would have ever done in this lifetime.

    • @aoyamasquare
      @aoyamasquare  5 лет назад

      Yes, you can go to the studio and request a "painting experience". But that's not free. . .

    • @samurdhiperera7405

      @@aoyamasquare I have revisited this page today and see that you had commented. Thank you! But of course to learn with such masters of the craft it is well worth paying for, after all they must also live. Do they also provide classes in English? And could you give a contact of a studio which does this?

    俺の感性が鈍いのかな。
    わけわからん現代アートは笑えるのもあるが大半は理解できないし落書きとしか思えない。
    こういうのこそ職人芸と芸術性が融合した歴史と文化の伝統ある「作品」だと思えるのだが。
