the "heavy" feeling to look around is most likely high latency. The game is basically running at 30-40 at ray tracing ultra but frame generation is adding imaginary frames using AI. It doesn't result in less input delay even though "fps" is higher.

Ray tracing is going to nuke your fps

@@geoq488 your not wrong but I find after a little bit of time with ray tracing on it appears to “stabilize” idk I might be going crazy but it’s almost like the pc needs to get used to the new settings before it actually starts working properly lol

@@Luckykohl_gamingI definitely have similar results especially if I pause the game for a long time it’ll chug a bit when exiting but then smooth out

I bought RX 580 for 40 dollars few weeks ago. On high graphics with FSR2 i have 40 fps and no drop in quality thanks to AMD sharpening. If you have low fps you can always download Lossless Scaling.

lossless scaling is mostly useful for its frame gen, that's mainly what I use it for on games that don't already have it because the performance uplifts from scaling games aren't very noticable on higher-end gpus. also.. considering that this guy is running the game on a 40- series rtx gpu, most modern titles such as cp2077, already have frame gen built into the game. so he should just stick to using the built-in frame gen as it provides lower latency and is often higher quality than lossless scaling.

You don't say what the resolution is, or maybe I skipped over it. Are you 1080p, 1440p? or 4k?
Edit: Along with that Raytracing looks best at night, you can notice it during the day.
Edit 2: Also turn your gain down on your mic or turn the in game sound up to nullify the click clackity of your keyboard.

@@TLOUProfessor I think all combinations of CPU and GPU have at least a little bottle neck but at least for the Rtx 4060 and the Intel Core I5-12400F the bottle neck is about 6.9% but isn’t as bad it could be
