This is my current skin routine: -Oil cleanser: Kose Cosmeport Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil -Cleanser: COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser -Toner: SOME BY MI, AHA.BHA.PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner -Serum/essence: Yuja Niacin 30 Days Blemish Care Serum/ The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% -Moisturizer: Yuja Niacin Brightening Moisture Gel Cream My additional night routine (which I use 2-3x a week interchangeably) -Deriva Adapalene Gel (3x a week at night) -COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (3x a week at night) So how can I incorporate COSRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid in my skin routine? I'm scared that I will be over exfoliating my skin.
Hello :) Well, that is because it contains Glycolic Acid, which often leads to issues in sensitive skin types, or let's say it is like rolling dice if you tolerate it well or not ;) The best would be to use it instead of your BHA Blackhead Power Liquid because you are already using Differin and, on the other days, the Some BY MI toner, which also contains exfoliating acids.

Hi Melissa!! Thank you for this video, it’s very simple and easy to understand💖but I have a tiny question: in a pm skincare routine, should I use it before or after klair toner? Thank you sm:)
Deciem/The Ordinary recommends not doing it. And based on my experience, I agree. It can be a very intense combination and lead to irritation. I mean, unless you are counting the drops, so let's say you use 2-3 drops of lactic acid and 2-3 drops of glycolic acid and mix it in the palm of your hand and apply it to your face. But if you use both exfoliants after another and do this for several weeks, it will lead to irritation sooner or later. It's just too much exfoliation over time. So be careful with the amount and frequency.

Glycolic acid is a type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that is commonly used in skincare products for exfoliation and to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. While it can be effective in helping to unclog pores and remove dead skin cells, it may not be the best option for treating milia. Milia are small, white, cyst-like bumps that commonly appear on the face and are caused by trapped keratin under the skin. They can be difficult to remove and may require a different type of treatment, such as manual extraction by a dermatologist or esthetician.

@@ariadawin7703 If you tolerate it well, yes. However, I recommend using them individually to see how your skin tolerates them. Still, I think a Salicylic Acid exfoliant or a mixture of AHA (Glycolic, Lactic, or Mandelic Acid) and BHA (Salicylic Acid) would be a better match.
