It will wipe any settings on the device yes. However I think they are backed up on your google profile. But don't quote me. Always Back up your files before you do the above. Cheers Matt

I bought this Toshiba Cromebook 2 (I'm using now) about four months ago and I find it's not nearly as wonderful as what many people say they are. The thing gets slower and slower and so I use the so-called powerwash and it DOESN'T return it to being like new, i.e. getting rid of all history and whatnot. I wrote Toshiba help center an email about the situation and they didn't bother getting back to me. If I had to do it over I'd probably shell out the big money and get a nice Apple laptop, as this thing is just far too slow and keeps losing the wifi connection. Btw, you can google the slowness problem to see that it's not just my machine. Think hard before getting a chromebook, especially if you're considering a Toshiba Chromebook2.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Some changes you make go to all of them so I just wasn't sure. I'm not a tech kind of guy. Guess that's why I like the Chromebooks for what I do.

Usally needs to be done by the place that manages it. You could try looking for an unmanaged hack. Let me know if you find one.

Yes, it will remove those accounts. But if they are cloud based you can probably just add them back once you have powerwashed.?
