I have a 1985 Nissan 720 pickup and I have looked all over for instructions on how to change both the axle seal and the wheel seal to no avail; then I found your video. The entire assembly from the D21 looks identical to mine (I also have a 720 factory service manual that details the process pretty much exactly as you described, except they specify using the "special tool" to remove the nut). I found your video to be excellent, with great camera work. Your instructions were clear and detailed (just the way I need it). Now I've got to either buy a hydraulic press or find somebody with a press who can press the bearings out and in. Liked and subscribed.
I have a 2003 Nissan Frontier and it has the same setup. Thank you so much for this video. I replaced my bearing and seals today. Hopefully I did everything right. We will see.
This is also the same procedure for the (W)D22 Frontiers and Xterras. One important thing to add is that the axle flange nuts are torque-to-yield so they're supposed to be replaced.
Before I start this, do you happen to know what size sockets you were using? I know I do not have that size, and it would be nice to get those ahead of time.

Great video! What size pipe did you use to go over the axle when pressing back on?

Any idea what size shims they are? I was missing them on one side, and I need to order more
i imagine it would be a similar process on my truck a 1984 Nissan 720 hardbody pickup.
Yes, there is a high change that it has the same c200 axle.
Good video sir was very helpful
Name by the parts y have the same problem
Would this be the same on a 95 pathfinder?
this is way easier than I thought, no c-clips to remove inside the diff, leave to the Japanese to design something sensible.
What part number seals did you use?
