As a swede and i found Kevins reaction and "play style" in this game pretty accurate. Just yeeting stuff around and don't give a shit about where the packages end up or in what condition they are going to arrive in

@@griffinbastion The polished bit is what I was caught off guard with. There were far fewer bugs than I'd expect and all of the designs looked intentional, rather than in development. I think what happened around 18:20 is that this is supposed to be a multiplayer game, but no one else was playing. I assume that after the bidding phase, you're supposed to fight around with other players (and whoever stays standing wins the match and earns a coin), but since there were no other players, you automatically won every round by default.

For those looking for a full version of “Anything for my pals” it obviously doesn’t exist but something similar does, it’s called “humanity” and it’s quite similar, the differences are: you’re a dog, you place commands down for an endless stream of humans to follow instead of telling a limited group of them commands, and it’s third person. That’s really all the differences i can think of, it’s the same general idea, guide humans to the end of a level using commands, and there’s even a glowing orb that talks in that game as well. It’s more complicated with the commands but the humans are less wobbly
I just finished playing Black Mesa last week then played through their dev phase levels for Xen. It's so cool to see devs make their inner workings playable like this!
Post game actually seems really fun because instead of the typical management game things like splitters and sorters everything in post game is physical and the challenge comes from designing your own solutions using the various ways of moving boxes, all while more and more boxes keep piling up and falling into the void
Though it's not the same, the games The Beginners Guide, and The Magic Circle are similar in the way that they tell the story of developers going through development hell.

Weird game ideas from a Swedish game studio! That’s fun! Btw in that mail boxes game, the color and the name “Postnörd” (mail nerd) is in reference to the real Swedish/Danish mail service “Postnord” (mail north) that is known to often lose or delay package deliveries, which the game idea seems to hint towards with you constantly losing packages 😅
The cult simulator game reminds me of The Last Guardian but with ominous tall floppy versions of the tree spirits from Mononoke Princess They need to continue on with this hilarious concept

TO FIX THE LAG ISSUE: find the games themselves in the installed folder. The Landfall Archives game actually just launches other games, which means that you actually have two games running at once, and the Landfall Archives is actually somewhat computationally expensive for a what little it has.
The idea of releasing their abandonned games as a funny little experience is actually pretty nice. Although most of this really is garbage.. But when I think about what some other game companies dumped without ever releasing even a part of it...
the funniest part of the post sorting game is that the logo is a parody and almost exact copy of the swedish postage company called Postnord (post/mail north) who has a reputation of losing packages, having generally slow deliveries and bad handling. infact, like 80% of swedish memes are about how shit postnord is. the one in game uses the same font and color except the O in "nord" is replaced with Ö spelling "nörd" (nerd). i think kevin's playtrough could very well be actual footage from the postnord factories.
If Kevin was in charge of Postnörd (Postnord), then our packages would ACTUALLY arrive. 99% of them MIGHT be severely damaged, but at least they'll arrive at our homes...
Fun fact, real world mail facilities also have problems with packages falling. Their solution isn't much different from yours near the end. The just put a giant net under everything and have people walk under it every so often to collect anything that's fallen and give them another try.

Explore cities, villages, forests, beaches as you do favors for different people you meet along the way.
for the auction game, basically you need friends and each player can bid to get a weapon and then they fight, but since you are alone you instantly win the round
