i'd love to see a combo / more theory for this deck because i have almost everything to build it and i'd love to try it and knowing more about it could help me a lot in picking up
Hey do you mind making a separate video talking about match ups and combos? Like traps to send and what fusion to make? What traps work against fire, voiceless, etc.
I'd love to see a follow up solely dedicated to the theory; I've heard paleo is rather difficult to pick up, and finding the niche points of a widely appealing deck could be fun
Love it, missed my chance to play the ishizu millers and also miss playing Paleo frog (rip ronin) and this hits just right what I have been looking for. I think I have everything to build this sans s;p, looking forward to build and play this.
Without sp you just have to focus more on the sprind plays essentially. Not having sp does hurt but I don't think it's too horrible as long as you can set up sprind.
What do you think about cards like Ret-Time Reviver and Mana Dragon Zirnitron? Are there any weird out-of-engine cards you can tell me about that you decided weren't "good enough" for the deck?

Since I really only side them in going second, I often side out cards that are trying to fill the same role but not as good going second like the dangers. Then I usually side out some of the 1 of traps like trivi, vivid tail, lost wind, but not rollback. then its usually 2 engine pieces that I don't feel i need as much as those. like the 1 grief and a dinomischus or something. I didnt have any set side patters as that package was a very new addition and I didnt have as much testing. but thats what I did at the regional
is it worth to add a small horus engine for more pressure? 3x imsety, hapi 1/2sarc + fieldspell? ofc the mill quality suffers but you can also get sarc / fieldspell back from gy with barricade and access to zombiere vampire or photon lord

I didn't test with more rollback because I felt there were games I was seeing it too much at one copy. That being said it feels like a necessary evil because it's so powerful and works with Marella. Laundry trap is still fine. It's playable but I just think there are better options now. It was much stronger when kitkallos was around and 1 havnis could end up being like 3 to 4 summons very easily
Kudos to you for keeping palos alive too bad it seems that marrella and dinomischus are the only paleos used in the better paleotear builds. Wondering if Kitkallos will be unbanned next banlist?
how viable is this deck without little knight and ty phon? I really want to give this a try in locals but those 2 are a bit out of reach for me at the moment.
Completely viable. Can replace with maybe unicorn over sp for your ip plays. Or add downerd Zeus. Or add redoer maybe. A bunch of other playable cards.

It's been a good staple in early paleo days. The draw back seems pretty ok since your GY is the second hand and you loop tear kash with vivid tail and mill every round with scream Greets :)
Usually a combination of kaleido heart sends and big fusions clear most face down boards. But Zeus is good. U side out rollback if you are close to time. Reckless is an OK-ish draw but a horrible mill, so it doesn't make the cut. With the new format you should replace linkuriboh with anima. Glad you enjoy the deck!

They are listed in another comment where I talk about siding in phantazmay and impulse. Going first I would side in the 2 traps and the shufflers (if they made sense in the matchup) Usually I would take out the trivikarma and the lost wind for the go first traps
It's a fine choice in the deck. But it's competing slot in the list is probably the lost wind... and I think I like lost wind more because it gives you a trap to activate even if milled. But black goat is instantly good unlike lost wind. I think you could play around with that slot and see which one you like more
I’ll keep this list saved and cut the linkuriboh from it (Linkuriboh is so based in paleo. You target it with rise to full height and watch your opponents battle phase crumble)
Hi, thoughts about adding something like Lancea to the side-deck to deal with macrocosm/shifter things? Shifter is actually quite good vs Snake-Eyes and all kashtira/vanquish soul/floo brews ive seen play something like it and i feel like this deck is very dependent on not being under macro x)
I don't think siding lancea is the play. You have dinomischus and karma cannon that can provide some sort of protection vs those decks. Other than that you can side dogwood vs all shifter decks but birds and guarantee survive the shifter turn
It's a bad mill and functions similar to grief but is simply worse. It's a crazy card if you can guarantee alot of mills. But there are a decent amount of monsters in the deck. It's probably fine if you want to run it, because it's ceiling is amazing. But I already am running more bad mills than I would like.
I'm trying to imagine what that looks like in this list... Besides opening exactly imsety it seems kinda rough. Everything is a bad mill except imsety and the engine is pretty large at minimum 5 cards. I don't like the sound of it. But the engine is insanely powerful so I think it can be tested around with

Linkuriboh wasn't an integral engine piece or anything. It's just there to get backjack off board
