Yessir... those finger picks are a pain in the beginning, but you do get used to them fairly quickly. So far, I like the D'Addario National thumb picks and the brass NP-2B finger picks. Thanks for what you do here Brother Shaw. Liked, subscribed, and shared! :)
Thank you!
I've been using the National NP2 finger picks lately, as recommended by Paul Franklin and I really like them. You don't really need to shape them, they come nicely shaped right out of the box. I find my attack is much stronger with the National NP2's.
you're right, they're a great option, too!

Going to get started. Have everything I need (I think) Now just need a teacher or online lessons. What would you suggest?
I have several basic lessons on this channel that should help you get started. There are also a few other guys online with lap steal lessons right now. Subscribe to this channel, and you should be able to see new lessons I make when they come out. Thanks for watching! p
Lap steel: What would you recommend for a beginner that would also compliment some growth? Do you have a video on this? Just recently found your channel. Thanks for any input you may share.
Thanks for watching! Check out my video on cheap lap steels. The SX and Epiphone are good options to keep you going for a while.
