- Porridge - a great start to the day .
Yes, you can make Porridge on the hob, but it does need watching and stirring and stirring
Yes, you can make Porridge in the microwave, but I find proper porridge doesnt cook quite right
Cooked pot in pot in the pressure cooker , there's NO constant watching nor stirring . NO sticking and burning . NO undercooked or gloomy oats
It's deliciously light and creamy .
Use the delayed start option and set it up the night before to wake up to a bowl of deliciousness .
Leave the keep warm function on and you can have a shower, dress , put your face on , do the housework and then sit down to a steaming bowl of porridge with no real thought
So try this and .......enjoy !

Thank you so much from someone who has had my oatmeal “ blow up” in the microwave…and a nice bowl of oatmeal on a cold morning is always good…even Southern California gets cold!! 😎
@gail4101 touch wood this works every time

Hello Penn when I told hubby I'm going to cook our porridge in the cosori he laughed at me🤪 I'm going to try this and I bet he will say how creamy and delicious it is. Ta very much Penn.🙂 just thought, can a Pyrex bowl be used inside the PC, I don't have handle less saucepans.😃
I'd love to hear his reaction.
@@inthekitchenwithpenn1 hehe, I'll let you know.🙂
Why did you not use the porridge function?
Because I wanted to use PC as its a function I use on my 15in1
Hi penn if you don’t mind me asking why do you use the pressure cook and not the porridge function. Just wondering !!
Honest answer because it's what I always use on the ninja
Well that’s fair enough 😀
Could you do this in a Ninja 11/1 as I don’t have a pressure cooker
Margaret absolutely you can , do it in exactly the same way . Use the pressure cooker function
