I started watching your videos to start my YT channel 3 weeks ago and Thanks to your tutorial and details I was able to create my channel art (banner) and my first video 2 weeks ago and I've been working on doing one video a week. I'm so happy! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This is THE BEST video for beginners! I have watched so many in the past five years and I’ve never learned so much from one video. Thank you so much for this! You have a new subscriber 😊
I've been running my channel since 2009, and faceless is basically the standard for me and my entire RUclips sector - I'm doing piano tutorials, so the basic shot is just the keyboard from overhead. I have noticed that it's much harder to get visibility with JUST that overhead shot these days, so I've started using much more variety in the form of captions, stills, animations etc. Interestingly, cutting in face-to-camera stuff is usually *less* effective than sticking with the overhead keyboard and using, say, animation over the top.
Man, you just made my day. I was very stressed out about how do I make my first video. I don't know anything about editing but this video helps me a lot. Thank you so much. God bless you.
Thanks a million for selflessly sharing so much knowledge with the web community. I am currently employed as a social media producer. And this video helped and inspired me alot. Kudos to u.
i just followed your advice and made my first video...and it has helped me a lot personally ... it made my anxiety go away and helped me with my insomnia by sleeping soundly at night listening to my soothing sound video... thank you so much...
I am glad that there is an option where you can create videos, without the need to show your face. I admit that I have a nervous reaction with a camera pointing towards me. But I wish to elaborate special but simple videos to give the viewers a chance to collaborate and help give them a good moment to enjoy the day.
Awesome breakdown, Justin! I created my channel around this concept because I don't want to show my face or even speak. This would give me more ideas for future video improvements
Very helpful and encouraging video. Ive been waiting and waiting for my health to improve so I can appear on my video content, however my health is not improving fast enough ...so for now, I am going to create videos with audio and visuals. This has given me some great ideas and inspiration so thank you.
Thanks for this helpful tip! I'm still too shy about revealing my face or doing commentary on my videos. For now, I'll try doing the text on screen strategy. :D
Another amazing tutorial! Thank you so much Justin! I teach online dot mandala courses and recently decided to use RUclips instead of Facebook for my lives.
Thank you so much. I'm doing the faceless content too ... but I really like the idea of using animated photos and I'll be sure to try out your recommendations. Thanks mate.
Just started channel yesterday so this helps a lot. Long way to go but it's worth the work!! I decided to do a mix of on camera and off camera using talking slide presentations. Thank you so much💖💖💖
On following your tutorial videos about how to make shorts videos I was to reach 100 subscribers with only 37 shorts videos. The best part is I got a viral video with about 24 000 views. Right now, I have started making longer videos for monetization purposes. I would like to thank you for your dedication to share powerful tutorials and ideas that are very useful for me.
Thank you for this video! I'm saving it for later since you mentioned several valuable tools! My cooking channel is faceless and voiceless. It's a real challenge to communicate in that way, but I love to do it. Learning new things every day.
My channel is non-monetised due to its nature/topic, but as for making any content that might meet monetisation, I'm horrendously camera-shy and voice-shy so dismissed the idea. However, I'm trying to get the confidence to film my hands for art/ journalling/ colouring etc. (inspired by 'Chris Cheng' who has a successful colouring channel without voice or face on camera). After seeing this (your) video, I'm amazed by all the different websites and software you've covered, and will definitely check them out! Your DVR tutorial video helped me to edit and upload my first video last summer (first is not the worst for me - just hit 40k views and thrilled). Ready to learn more editing skills with DVR and I love your teaching style, so I'm going to check out more of your videos. Thanks for your hard work and great tutorials! :)
Thanks for this, Justin. I am already using some of these techniques, but I have a LONG way to go! Years ago and on a topic far, far away, I serendipitously made a video that got more than 300,000 views, but it was much more about having a timely topic than about anything I did in my recording. I am continuing to refine my thought processes in the research phase. I wholeheartedly agree that research can make or break you before you even start! Thank you for providing your time and expertise to help the masses learn to do this better!! Keep making - and I'll keep watching!
Thank you for the video. I have procrastinated with getting my videos online because I really don't want to be on them, even though I knew it could be done, I didn't know how it could be done and far too embarrassed to speak to my friends on RUclips about it. So thanks once again.
Hey, great video! How are you able to do this whilst still having your face in the video aswell - like different clips - just like this one you’ve done! ☺️ Thank you
This was amazing information. It may take me a little time to get to this point Justin because I just started my RUclips channel and thanks to you I have been able to create thumbnails for my videos. Keep up the awesome work!!!!!! 😀

Your videos are awesome. Very helpful and educational. This is the best channel comparing to other channels with similar content. Very good job... I am one of those faceless channels 😁
Several missing options from this video, for screen recording on a PC the easiest I found is Screencast-O-Matic. For making moving text Videos Adobe Spark is fantastic and only cost $10 month.
