The people were extremely friendly! We enjoyed lunch at Morty and Edna’s Craft Kitchen! The BLTs are awesome! Thanks for watching, and glad you enjoy this little town! 🙂
I absolutely love Lake Placid. I agree the people are very friendly too. The train museum and clown school was closed when I went. Thanks for showing us around. I wish they would reopen that tower!
I love our little town Lake Placid. So much more to see and do. Come check out our caladium fields in bloom, it’s amazing (we are the caladium capital of the world). lots of cute shops and the most amazing lakes with a few gators of course.
We were just talking about wanting to return for some more candied bacon blts, lol. Can you suggest some things to see or any historic places to stay? The town seemed very tranquil. 🙂
@@FloridaandBeyond dock 633 is another good place to eat. Lots of outdoors things to do. Rent a pontoon boat on lake June and spend the day on the lake, beautiful lake with lots of activity and beautiful views. We have our annual caladium festival in July ( it’s hot as heck) but they come by the bus loads. A lot has changed since your last visit. Definitely ck out the sugar distillery and lake June scrub preserve state park. Highlands hammock is pretty amazing also. You can rent bikes or bring your own, beautiful trails with lots of wildlife and history. Come olive oil tasting or have an awesome brunch at the cutest tea room ( try the purple tea it’s soooo good). And spend a relaxing evening at the journal where they have an outdoor move playing, music, food. Can’t wait for you to come on back.
There's also a town of Murals in Georgia in the just outside of Valdosta close to the Florida border called Lakeland, yes Georgia not Florida, very charming town.
It is just below Bartow, Avon Park, and Sebring. I wish the tower was open, but they closed it years ago. It is definitely worth a stop! Thanks for watching! 🙂
About 90% of this video is of you 2, and about 5% actually shows any murals. Do you think if you have a video about a "Town of Murals" that, perhaps, most of the video should be showing murals?
We showed what there is to do in the town and 14 out 50 of the murals. We say at the end if you want to see all the murals you should visit. It is nicknamed the Town of Murals. When we are on the screen, we are talking about the town and history of it. Nowhere does it say we are showing all 50 murals on this video. Most people would not want to see that.
We are snowbirds from Maine and found this lovely little town where we now spend our winters! Love it here!

It is such a cute town! We want to find an airbnb for a weekend stay next time we visit! Thanks for watching! 🙂
Another hidden Florida gem. I had heard there was a Lake Placid Florida but had no idea about it. Now it is on my must visit list. Thank uou!
It is such a cute small town! We loved it. I am so glad we gave you something to add to the list! Have fun, and thanks for watching! 🙂

I still prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.❤🇺🇸
