I didn’t like the Libre , but fell in love with this one! Was never a vanilla or lavender fan either. The girl in sephora made me try this and I came back for it.
Received a bottle as a gift from my mum, so I will obviously love it for sentimental value. Beautiful "quiet luxury" fragrance in my opinion, nothing ground braking, but warm, soft, inviting, inoffensive. I'm sure some will love it, some will hate for exactly the same reasons.
I love burberry goddess! It is a bit lighter then I would like but does stick on my clothes and on my skin becomes such a warm fall vanilla!
I love mon guerlain also! But the vanillas are completely different and goddess is more floral, they do share the same lavender note tho
Goddess is my fall/winter vanilla, and mon guerlain is my summer/spring vanilla
I think Vanilla Caviar is what is inside the vanilla bean - so, if you take a vanilla bean and slice it open, you find the interior is actually seeds mixed with the (fruit?) in the bean, and I believe the 'seeds' are considered the 'caviar'. I have Vanilla Caviar by House of Matriarch and it smells like the interior of the vanilla bean (but sweetened). I hope I explained it correctly. Goddess is one of the few fragrances that doesn’t change into something horrid on my skin. It stays smelling very nice, so I hope there will be some good gift sets out for Christmas.

I really like this one. It is warm but with the lavander aromatic touch. I see the similiarities with Libre but I think that this is rounder and softer. Very classy and elegant.
You think Libre is softer? That one is sharp to my nose. Good to know.

So I have been wearing Burberry Women since its release, and i absolutely love it!! What started me on my journey of perfumes is not being able to get the Burberry without ordering. I have tried other Burberry fragrances and wasn't as excited as I had gotten with Goddess, and I told my daughter that it reminds Burberry Women, just a little softer. I just jope they keep this one.

I really like this one and prefer cozy, warm ones. Libre is my cousins signature and too much lavender for me. I ordered a 50 ml and can easily see this as my every day.
Blind bought this and I don’t regret it. Unisex IMO if you like vanilla fragrances. Fall/winter scent 100% ❄️ this will suffocate you in hot weather 😂

Hello, Sophie! I Have tried out Burberry Goddess today. It is a pretty Scent, on my skin smells almost like Lactonic Vanilla with a hint of Cocoa. My Christmas Wish is Hugo Boss Alive EAU de Parfum though.

I tried this in store and wore it a day out, not even knowing what notes it is about and for me its the kind of designer scent where you don't pick up easily on specific notes, to me it was a bit fresh aromatic and fluffy warm floral sponge cake something, very pleasant and easygoing, it did well on a warm summerday. I would have never thought this smells close to Mon Guerlain, which I found super dense and cloying!
I was so excited to see your review of this. I got the travel set. I really like it. So far it’s the only Burberry scent I can wear. I love the bottle. Funny, I get NO lavender from it! So to my nose it’s nothing at all like Mon Guerlain… and I don’t like YSL at all. (But I love their bottle!). I’m older, and it’s giving me Obsession vibes….. that deep sexy vanilla. I’ll use it this fall and winter. Will I get a full bottle…. not sure yet. To my nose it really projects with just one spray… so good value. Thanks Soki… I love your reviews!

I love it!❤ and also love the bottle...for mi is not strong, and is office apropiate, actually it becomes one of my favorite for the office and daily use. In my skin is fruity maybe for the ginger, i feel the amber and the vanilla...i dont feel alot the lavander...but every skin is different...so for me works every season of the year 😏❤

its a gorgeous fragrance! My new signature. I do love both libre le parfum and mon guerlain alot so this was an easy buy for me. What is so odd though, its cheaper here in India (its always the other way around), i got the 50 ML. For 58 pounds.

i’m picky with vanilla scents and i really loves this one when i tried it at ulta but i won’t pay for it unless i find it on a good discount somewhere. tbh i didn’t know there was any lavender in it bc allll i smelled was vanilla and that’s it no other notes
I just bought the 3.3 bottle of Goddess parfum today. It reminds me of the original Burberry scent.
I sampled it at Ulta and I thought it was nice but I don’t think I’ll be running out to get it thank you Soki 💕

guerlain are bringing out 3 new aqua allagorias in sept (not just for spring summer apparently) a rose woody one, a kiwi one and a coconut vanilla one. will look forward to hearing what you think about them..esp kiwi and vanilla coconut :)

Ooh i tried that rose woody one...to me, on me smells masculine as the woody part pretty much took over any rose/floral scent. Actually ended up getting this Burberry Goddess for the comforting warm scent of vanilla..which ended up to be chocolatey too in the drydown for me.
I have yet to try Lush’s Goddess, but so far my preferred Goddess is Estée Lauder’s version, Burberry’s at a close second for the imho slightly lacking longevity.
I like it but reminds me of Black Opium, a quiet Black Opium, I 'd say. I 'll wait for December to try it again.
To my untrained nose, it’s a light version of Black Opium and is for warmer months/days.
Received the sample and tried it...thought "hmmm...this smells good, but not sure if full bottle worthy" Then.....I went outside......whoa! A cloud of beautiful, deep, rich vanilla and cacao surrounded me....smooth and creamy. There is a hint of spice too, not your typical gourmand vanilla. At first, I definitely got the Mon Guerlain vibe, but as it dries down, it takes a slightly deeper, vanilla direction. Just went and purchased a bottle- a bit pricey, but it will definitely be a staple in my fragrance rotation.

I purchased when it hit the market. Should have got a sample. It is pretty. But…it just did not wow me. Performance was a solid 5 hours. It has a soft vanilla dry down. Definitely fall and winter scent. Will I purchase again…probably not. But, I think everyone should sample the perfume. Anyone that loves the lavender, vanilla story should really find this scent beautiful, and a safe purchase.

I'm only hesitant because of the price. I know a lot of niche perfumes that are less expensive, or similar price points. I may try YSL libre or the le parfum version first.

I sampled this in Ulta a few weeks ago. It confirms the fact that I’m not a lavender fan 🤪

Cute bottle but overly priced. It is a very warm cozy scent though. Sort of reminds me of that seven virtues perfume vanilla woods.
I have been eyeing it for awhile and today I purchase 50 ml at Sephora with 20% discount. It last all day on my skin and smell amazing. I also love YSL libre intense but decided not to purchase as it is evening perfume (I don't go out much anyway).

Why do I get a play dough note on my skin? Ugh. Same with Elixir but that one is more burnt plastic. I’m on the fence. Doesn’t blow me away but it’s nice.

Do you need this if you have Libre parfume?
Thats really pricey. Seems to be cheaper out in Asia, but they dont sell 30ml out here. Its a pretty, gourmand scent. I smell more of the vanila rather than lavender though, and after some time it turns to chocolate on me 😂 it would be lovely in colder weather but i love it out here in the tropics too. But now you make me want to try mon guerlain....

It's a beautiful vanilla but I can't smell any lavender at all. Generally, a very nice scent, sweet but no suffocating. It's very long lasting.

Libre is one of my favorite perfumes, so I blind bought this one and I regret it. The lavender in the opening seems quite screechy (perhaps it’s the ginger) and then a few minutes in on my skin the vanilla becomes quite sweet and overpowering. Gave me a headache on first wear :(
So weird. Burberry Elixir hasn't even been released in my country, nor in my neighboring country where I sometimes buy from, but this one is already in stores. The sample should drop in my mailbox soon. Will be the first burberry I smell. Think Her and the elixitrr would be more up my alley though. I'm a bit over all the Libre copycats.

I just finished my Libre Intense and will probably get Goddess if it works on my skin. I hated Burberry Her, too fruity and sweet.

I’d suggest the latest Valentino Donna Born in Roma Intense. It’s vanilla heaven and very rich and elegant! Stunning. I have the original and this is even better which is uncanny!😊

It’s a nice scent…but not for the price point. I like Burberry Her and My Burberry Black way better. For similar scents, I prefer Mon Guerlain over Goddess.
I just bought this, I am in love with it but I think it’s too pricey for what it is, it’s beautiful but not that unique
I was really hoping to smell more vanilla, It’s so odd but I can’t smell the vanilla at all , it smells very fruity on me
I originally thought it was just meh and way overpriced (I LOVE Burberry London which I got for $30) but today I was out and sprayed half a dozen perfumes on myself. All of them disappeared quickly but 6 hours later I am still getting whiffs of vanilla with just a touch of lavender. So if you like those notes it might actually be worth the price.

How do u get free perfumes
I tried it last week and was not that impressed. Everyone is talking about it but for me it smelled like a softer, more feminin and wearable swiss arabian Casablanca. But i do not like Casablanca so this hard pass for me.

So I wore this fragrance for a week and even though is lovely, for the price I paid I feel it should have better performance, I found it doesn’t last all day, projectionist is minimal, not as strong. I will not buy it again unless the price drops! Had to reapply every 3/4 hours

That’s business, though. London is an older fragrance so it will naturally decrease in price in order to retain any existing customers whilst simultaneously attracting more customers with the budget friendly price.
The demand for Goddess will be higher, and it’s in a different stage of marketing, so with it being new and thereby talked about more, the price will inevitably be higher 😊

Why is not an office perfume?
I think it’s too sweet
It is nice and inoffensive, but doesn't last more than 2 hours.

I think this will be popular among people who come to a shop and ask an assistant for something new and pleasant, have no collection, maybe a bottle or two and they use them up completely before getting another one. For others Goddess will be redundant.

Just took it back to the shop for a refund! £68 for 30ml I couldn’t t smell it hardly and it smelt off. No this is not a fine fragrance but the price says it is!

Unimaginative, lame. Burberry first copied BR540 and now Mon Guerlain. I do not understand copying Mon Guerlain whatsoever, they should have tried to copy something niche instead.
Also the bottle is so cheap looking and the price is simply ridiculous.
If you want to smell an interesting vanilla fragrance- instead of this weak one- you should try the new AA Forte Bosca Vanilla by Guerlain.

This Burberry release seems quite disappointing regarding the price point for what it is. Also the name Godess is a huge disconnect from this scent profile🥱 so, being the name " Godess " doesn't seem to have been trademarked, i'll be looking forward to YOUR interpretation of GODESS LOL😂🥰 no, this release doesn't live up to name Godess or Burberry. IMO
