Idk why but I thought that this perfume was going to be a ysl libre dupe, but I was actually shocked when I smelled it. It’s definitely going to be a lot of peoples faves including mine, but they nailed it with this perfume.
@@Gourmanda ok I agree but like disagree, like in the opening I get the vanillas and everything, but on the dry down I don’t necessarily get Libre, but like something in the same family does that make sense?

@@Gourmandai Wear libre since more than 1 year , and i disagree , Burberry goddess is super gourmand where libre is fresh and musky ( on my skin ) dépends on the person

My wife wears this. I just got her the big bottle. Literally the best smelling womans fragrance ive smelled. Pricey tho at almost 200. Smells like a goddess. 😊
I've been disappointed with a lot of perfume releases this year! Brands just making elixirs and intenses, but this has to be my favorite release all year!! They really did what they had to do!

I was actually trying to get the ysl libre intense to surprise my wife but end up smelling the Burberry goddess and fell in love with it go went and got for my wife and she loved it
I had both and I LOVE Burberry Goddess, but Libre intense, even though it has some similar notes, was not my kind of tea and its so strong I smelled it on too many people and that annoyed me as well (it was a blind buy) so I selled it
Burberry for me is way better, its more warm, "delicious", lovely and gentle

I finally ordered this beauty today in the largest size after going to Ulta yesterday and spraying it on me and everybody was loving it. My dad and Hubby are enablers so I asked my dad to get it for me and of course he was like yes you can get it baby. I’m so stoked. It smells delicious. My hubby loves it as well.
I have libre the darkest one version and I love it. It’s my signature fragrance, but I just got this one from Burberry and I’m obsessed with it.

I felt quite the same with this new Burberry Goddess. In a way it reminds of Billie Eilish but then not. When I checked the notes, I asked my dad to buy this fragrance. Ah, I am in love with Burberry Goddess. I love Billie Eilish as well. But these scents are not the same. The bottle is beautiful and looks expensive. Burberry surprised me a big time!

Does it remind you of libre? I’m not a big fan of it and I’m scared it’s gonna smell like the same scent category.🥺
@@AnxxhkaI don’t like libre but I adore this. I tried this in store and immediately bought a $175 gift set online. My nose doesn’t pick up the lavender really at all. I smell all the other notes. Some people feel like the longevity and projection could be better for the price. I think you have to smell it in person if you can or get the travel size.
This video really made me appreciate our German perfume prices. You can get the 50ml bottle for 65€ and the 30ml for 50€

My boyfriend had a similar reaction! I sprayed this and he is obsessed, he said it smells amazing and then commented multiple times after how nice it is 😂 This is coming from someone who is usually very critical of perfumes and doesn’t like very many haha

Just now smelled the new goddess perfume, and I instantly smelled mod vanilla by Ariana Grande 😅 a week ago I gave away that perfume, because I blind bought Casablanca, and realized they were basically the same thing. I was so hyped to smell this, but it’s way too close to mod vanilla and Casablanca!
I don’t think they smell at all alike! Burberry Goddess to me is a lot sweeter and more feminine. Idk maybe that’s just on me. 🤷🏻♀️
Definitely vanilla heaven, my all time favorite vanilla fragrance. The bottle is magnificent. This is by far the best fragrance that has been released this year. I try not to wear it all the time this will be one of my special occasion Scents
i love burberry perfumes sm & when i saw this yesterday at Sephora & smelled it, I knew immediately that i need to get this scent!! It really does have a luxe, and rich girl vibe to it, but still sweet & sexy.

I smelled it in Sephora too. I liked it. I heard an employee say she keeps spraying it bcz it doesn't last, but she really liked it. I purchased the travel bcz i believe they'll come out w/ an intense soon.
it doesn’t last. for that price and for it being vanilla it really vanishes and i sprayed mine like a LOT and nope… it just disappears. it’s beautiful but not for that price and performance r😮

Idk, the niche price tag makes me really question this Burberry fragrance. I love vanilla, but I already have Divine Vanille from Essential Parfums and it was less than $100 for a 100ml. I'm torn though, this would be probably be sweeter, so I'll try it.

Great review! I have been searching all my life for a signature scent. My mom has only used one perfume (Shalimar) all her life and I love that about her. Although it sounds boring, it’s also comforting. And so I embarked 30+ years ago on a journey to find my own signature scent. And after jumping down the rabbit hole and enjoying tons of beautiful perfumes… Burberry Goddess is it. It’s everything I want to be soft, and cozy, that comforting friend, yet lovely and beautiful. Youthful yet grandma at the same time 🤣🤣🤣 weird analogy I know but I think of someone you just love being around. Someone you want to hug and feel safe. Absolutely love this. So much so I bought 3 bottles for fear that were I live (overseas) they would stop bringing it.

Girl! Did you smell the Alien Goddess flanker…I think it’s Florale? It smells like they listened to all our complaints of smelling nothing like the original. This one now smells like it’s got that Alien DNA while smelling like summer

I tested this out today. Upon first spray, I didn’t like it. It felt too mature. However, hours later, that vanilla dry down was amazing. I really enjoyed it. Yes! Definitely, Billie Eilish vibes on the dry down. I personally hated Eilish. But, I kind of like this one. It might just be my first higher end fragrance. ❤

I wanted to get this but when you mentioned it’s kind of similar to Eilish, I had to step back a bit. I’m a vanilla girl, but for some reason I just can’t stand the vanilla in Eilish. It gives me a headache. 😵💫 I got a travel size and I never sprayed it again. 😩 I very much appreciate the Kayali 28 Vanilla and the Black Opium Le Parfum kind of vanilla.

Sprayed it all over me in Sephora yesterday. By the time I left the mall I couldn’t smell it at all anymore. Smells good but I’ll pass. Tired of these brands producing fragrances that don’t last.
Juicy Couture Sucre I have one of the old bottles and the spray nozzles wonky. This one sounds so good, but then you said it was like Billie Eilish and I did not like that one I blind bought it. And ended up giving it away.

I legit smelled this a few hours ago and at first I didn’t feel it but then it started to settle and I was obsessed. I am obsessed with this scent I need it I gotta have it I will get it
I smelled it the other day at the airport. There wasn't enough to spritz it, I could only sniff it from the bottle and I loved it. I think it would be beautiful for the cold season.
I loath Eilish, I think it smells foul, so don't be put off - you can still like this.
I had it on my shopping cart 🛒 since this morning I wasn’t too sure about getting it. But after watching your video I purchased it 😆. (I think I just needed an excuse)
I think it starts very much like Lancome's Hypnose, a bit "cold" (the lavender & ginger combo, I think). On skin, within half an hour, it becomes warmer, a soft spicy vanilla combo, there's cacao as well. I think it's a bit of "Mon Gueirlain Light", because it's not as heavy, and there's no coumarin, which in my opinion gives Mon Guerlain a bit of a tobacco smell. This makes it more work approriate than Mon Guerlain, - also because although it is a vanilla scent, it's not really a gourmand.
To me is very similar to Mon Guerlain edp.. Just a little bit sweeter 😌

I bought this and couldn’t get myself to keep it because it smells so identical to Amor amor and I have that in my collection. It is soo expensive to lack uniqueness. I layer amor amor with viva la juicy or even a vanilla splash from bbw and boom identical.

nearly everything smells the same but this one stands out and I am not easily impressed, to me it is better than Bronze Goddess and Alien Goddess which are good scents, , This one is very good :)

Really liking this perfume so far!! The longer it’s on my skin, the better it smells…which is surprising. I will say this scent remind me slightly of juicy couture gold! Like I said…something about it- not the same as juicy but similar. My husband wear Mon Guerlain Double Vanille. This isn’t as deep as that. This fragrance is more feminine.
I had this recommended to me by a Sephora employee as well. I would have just looked passed it as I gave away my pink Burberry perfume. I’m so glad I wore this on the skin for a while and realized it was amazing!!
