Awesome video!!! Thank you for taking the extra time to record/edit/share your install. The only 2 issues I ran into were - the waterbox strap no longer fits around the smaller Riva waterbox and fitting the exhaust pipe into the rubber elbow was a nightmare. I'm curious if you ended up leaving the strap off of the new waterbox - that's the route I'll probably take - seems to be a really secure fit as-is. Again, thank you for putting this video out there!!
I did manage to get my waterbox out of my 2014 vxr without taking the exhaust manifold off, it took like 30mins of messing with it. hopefully you guys will be doing the Rear exhaust install as well! Im hoping for that video
Do you have a sound clip of this free flow matched with the water box? I see your other video has the water box but has the thru the hull exhaust instead.
Great, thanks. My buddy is a fabricator so he cut his open and cut out all the baffles and then re-welded. Does that sound legit? Is that all RIVA does? would save me 400 bucks lol. His sounds a lot meaner now.
Okay, a $250 short piece of aluminium pipe, what does it do aside from changing the sound of exhaust which by itself has zero value? Also what makes this piece worth that high price if one can just use same rubber pipe that was already there just longer to do exact same thing.
A waterbox reduces back pressure by a good margin. You'll mostly notice the benefits in higher HP builds, where you can get as much as 15 additional horsepower with just the waterbox.
I installed a riva power filter and a rear exhaust plus an engine breather upgrade kit will the riva water box work for my ski will I get the performance Yamaha Fzs sho
Hey Joseph the RIVA Waterbox will definitely help eliminate even more restrictiveness from the exhaust. We also recommend using a MaptunerX tune to get the most out of your FZS SHO.
Why does this free flow exhaust use the factory exhaust outlet port...I thought it ran the exhaust straight back making it necessary to cut a hole in your hull?
So there are two different classifications of exhausts (termed by Riva). Free Flow, which just replaces the sound suppression system and uses the stock outlet. Rear Exit, which requires cutting a hole in the rear of your hull. This one was the Free Flow, so it did not require the hole saw.

Did you have to put anything to the manifold gasket? Like a sealant?

ghostridah73 that's next...soon!
PWC Muscle sweet! I'm thinking of getting a GP1800 next year if they change colors so all this info with videos is awesome
In short, learn some physics guys. Here is a good explanation: ruclips.net/video/Sazq-aqm_Co/видео.html
Where can I get those aluminum mounting brackets at minute 2.23.?
Merci beaucoup ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So you cut the old pipe but completely skipped over how it joins the new pipe. Is there a coupler?
Would have been nice to hear it.
N1AGE we put that one live already! ruclips.net/video/oIYfEfvaphc/видео.html

Is there a measurement for the cut when installing the free flow exhaust?.
Yes, but it's very forgiving as well
Where can we hear this free flow exhaust with this water box??
Hi bro I know don't have waterbox yet for waverunner ex but I can put the gp riva waterbox in my ex sport? With out problem
do you have to flash the ecu or tune it?
Not for just this modification.
did anyone tried to cut stock water box, remove all inside things , welding back??
Yes
What’s the correct torque to put it back is it 15foot pounds or 25 foot pounds
You rock

Claude Perea thats what im thinking of doing to mines which state is he in?
have you did the intake reinforcement plates
Do u think u need to remove that piece to trim it or can you just trim it while the bolts are still on
You certainly can try to do it while it is installed.
@@Pwcmuscle thanks man!
u have to change the direction of the pipe anyway..

Great video! Do you have to replace the exhaust manifold gasket? I have a 2014 FZS. Thanks!
Thank you! And no, you do not.
PWC Muscle Thanks, I already fitted the waterbox and I didn’t have to remove the manifold on the FZS. 👍
@@HEMSJim Awesome...that little bit more room makes a huge difference
PWC Muscle why does it feel like it loss some power after installing a free exhaust and water box?
Is there anything orher than flashing ecu
2017 fx svho I installed dual battery kit will this kit still fit?
I have the free flow exhaust on the Gp, but how does the water box help with the performance? Thanks.

@@Pwcmuscle What's considered higher HP?
@@MrMike1646 Once your build is far enough to change the supercharger impeller.
I didn't need to remove the manifold, just did a little wrestling for a half hour
Was there a trick to getting it out ?
Need help.

If I install a rear exhaust and a blow off valve and a water box , do I have install an air filter ?
Abdulla Karam I would recommend it. You can do it without, but won't gain any real performance, just sound
my 2009 fzr the rubber coupler is really stuck on the waterbox any tricks on how to get it loose from it, thanks
Stick a screw driver in there. Lift it up a little. Spray a little brake cleaner in there. And that will help remove it. Hope we helped.

Wait, wait , waaaait. what about the sound part. It would be nice and after sound part at the end.

What’s the free flow with the waterbox sound like your video only shows thru hull with waterbox
Zach Reissner I would also be interested to hear the freeflow exhaust with the waterbox installed.
@@zachreissner7040 yeah I wanna hear too!
