Isn't this expensive compared to hp1020 printer where we can use compatible toner cartridge with 5 to 10 refills with Toner Powder costing just around 80 to 100 rupees per bottle/refill... Did they stop HP 1020 printer (with standard toner cartridge?) which is the alternative now for this printer?

you are saying right but now hp 1020 plus printer model has been discontinued yes compared to that this printer is expensive and full of problems..but we can't do anything..as long as both canon hp were together The old model 1020 plus and hp 1005 printer worked fine but now that hp people have come out with NeverStop and Laserjet tank, since then hp is not able to give some good performance

@@ShealSupport Thanks for the reply. It is sad to know that they have stopped all these basic models. We don't need these hi-fi models, don't need wireless printing and other fancy things. Just need those basic printers which does the print job efficiently.
What about canon? Have they also stopped the basic models?
Thank God my HP 1020 plus is still working fine and hopefully will last for another 3-4 years! I purchased it in 2019 and it is still doing great without a single service! Earlier I had Canon LBP 2900 which is like a twin to this. Even that lasted for like 8-9 years (but with few services basically because at that time I was not handling it properly and not refilling the toners properly).
Now I wanted to purchase this printer for my friend (even he needs a basic model) and I suggested the same to him. But now I'm surprisingly not finding any of these models available anywhere! (I think when I last checked it like 6 months back it was still available if I am not wrong)
Can you please suggest any other printer which uses HP 12A toner and which is still available now! Because this toner can be easily refilled and widely available.

brother please suggest me which one should i buy 1020w (lasertank) or 1008w ? which is good for me. In 1008w i will have to refill the cartridge. does the quality of printing reduce after refilling cartridge ? i want a hassle free experience for home use. please suggest me brother

आपने कहा घर पे use करना है.. अगर आपको ज़्यादा printing करना है तो आप लेज़र printer ले
लेकिन लेज़र printer कोई भी लेंगे वो सिर्फ लाइट रहने पे ही काम करेगा लेज़र printer इनवर्टर पे काम नहीं करता- और अगर आपको घर के इस्तेमाल के लिए लेना है कम printing करना है तो आप ink tank printer ले
