usbs break all the time, never store your only copy on your usb. Better is copying to your hard drive so you have all your songs together and then export
Great video. I will need to watch this a few times. I am a serato user and im not loving rekordbox right now. I have ddj 1000 and xdj rx2. Im so trying to get a handle on rekord box. I love the effect, hands down best in market. Music management has been a nightmare porting from serato. I will watch you video on how to get camlot keys. Thats a issue for me to. Smh.
I had an issue when I try to export my into Rekordbox. I have near 2,000 tracks and according to Rekordbox software it will take over 200 hours to analyze all my tracks. That's 9 days. I have a monthly radio show and upcoming gigs. In addition, I work and attend classes at night. When will I have the time to get this done. Is there's another way? Please let me know. Thank you.
yeah that sync manager is not the most reliable features. it is not the first time it completely stops working in an update. I submitted bugs to Pioneer before about the Sync manager, and they released updates for that, but I don't keep doing that.

beat jump is more of a dj play software feature. You can't directly transfer stuff, there are some tools out there, I believe rekordbuddy or something. Cue points can be a bit of a problem
Great Tutorial - has really helped me understand this better. I still have one big problem - when I connect my laptop to my pioneer XDJ RX2, 9 times out of 10 I can't get the RX2 to see Rekordbox on the laptop. So no tracks show up - When I press the Rekordbox button or Browse or any button, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? rekordbox is open on the laptop, it's connected via USB port to the RX2 but nothing happens. Need some help here. thank you

yes there are 2 options blue waveform (which I find annoying) and the RGB waveform. That is somewhere in the options screen, don't know exactly where, but look for something like "waveform color"

weet je zeker dat je de playlist heb geselecteerd om te syncen/exporteren? Je kan dit checken door in Rekordbox op je usb drive te klikken en hij laat de inhoud zien. Als dat het niet is, dan weet ik het niet
Hi Just got my first CDJ Nexus 2000 and trying to learn Rekordbox, I've followed your video and added a playlist to an 8 gb SD which I also formatted as it wasn't recognised then exported the files again to the sd but when I insert it to CDJ it says no card??? I am really stuck as to what to do next ? Thanks for making these awesome videos!
Do you have a video on exporting files? IE if a user has a mix of AIFF/WAV but wants them all to export to WAV (as most all media players are compatible with WAV and not aways AIFF etc.).

does using the mixed in tune affect the automix or any other features?? I had heard it had done something but this was back on the older version. I prefer the camelot wheel method.
There is a record function in it, but never used it. I would suggest something Audition. it's free and gives you much more features for the podcast (like cutting etc)
I don’t know why, but my volume controls and cross fader isn’t working. No matter where the level is when I press play it just blasts the song. I don’t know what settings will fix this, if anyone can help that would be amazing

No I don't use Itunes. I think was a horrible piece of software. To be honest, I didn't know that itunes still existed, didn't apple kill it a while back??
When i install rekord boxx it doesnt give me that start screen in wich i can select my device. it gives me alllote of trouble setting up my ddj-sb3 please get back to me.
I don't know. I think you should contact Pioneer. Are you sure it's a Rekordbox controller, not a Serato controller (I think the S in the typenumber is for Serato)

I started out in Serato too, but if you want to play with the big boys (cdj 2000) you need Rekordbox (regretfully)

I don't expect you wil spin every one of them. Make a selection and analyse those

you should be able to exchange more songs at a time. check my export to usb video maybe you forgot something

i think the card is broken or you didnt format it as fat 32.

Is it best to have quantize off when beat gridding? I’ve tried with it on or off and didn’t really see a difference.

you can set autoloops. set a cuepoint and there is a loop icon next to the time on the right upper part of the screen. click on that loop icon

Ik denk dat je even in de geluids settings van je mac/window moet kijken.

I don;t know the controller. You have to check the pioneer compatibility list of Rekordbox DJ
