I fail to see the connection between this skirmish on a hill and the actual events of the battle for Peleliu, but I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. My respect to all who fell as a result of the real battle.
This is what an actual battle is mostly made of: hundreds of skirmishes. The history books and films show you the overall battle: not the details of it.
My grandfather was a soldier in the Imperial Army and took part in the southern campaign. My grandfather was lucky enough to survive and return to his homeland, but most of his own men were killed in action. My grandfather didn't like to talk much about the war, so I don't know much about it, but maybe he was fighting as shown in this video. It is very moving to think so. I am proud of my grandfather who fought for his country. I pay my respects to the soldiers of all the Allied and Axis powers. War should be avoided at all costs.
Japan had been indirectly at war with the United States since 1937. It's the Sino-Japanese war. Japan had a huge advantage over China. Without American aid. In the end, without America, Japan would have dominated Asia and Germany would have dominated Europe.

The Greater East Asia War was the greatest mission since the founding of Japan.
