I made up my own 4 AWG leads for upgrading my Monster 1100 EVO, starter, solenoid, bat + and bat ground, then added LiFePo battery, been great ever since
@@ke0kie I did consider making up my own leads, but found that after budgeting for the crimp tool, connections, and good quality leads, it was better (for me) to buy them already sorted. But it's certainly an option 😉 thanks for the comments
I replaced my rsv1000r and it made a massive difference, replaced on my 1200s and made no difference, enjoyed the video was going to to my 1260s but I actually think mine starts faster than yours after you changed the cables😮 so probably won't bother now.
would you please share (if you still have the old cables) what is the length of the original OEM cables ? Also appreciate knowing terminal's holes diameter ..
@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes appreciate that :) It can be also the new cables length ? I have a possibility to prepare such a cables by myself but first need to know the lengths and clamps holes diameters. Bike have been "sleeping" during winter far ago from me, so I'd like to be prepare for the replacement.

Great tutorial, might be a bit complex for my little brain though 🤣
Not as tough as it seems, your local garage might only charge an hours labour if you get worried about it though 😁
