Rovaniemi- 2 days in Lapland Finland

My trip from West Texas to Lapland. We land in Helsinki to board an overnight train to Rovaniemi.
Here is my mini breakdown of the trip that includes an overnight train cabin with a private bathroom and shower.
We stay two days in Rovaniemi before we head back to Helsinki to catch a ferry to Tallinn Estonia.

1:00 Just FYI, even though the airport station is below ground, it's just a regular commuter train service and not a metro. Helsinki does have a metro system as well. but it doesn't go to the airport (which is located in Vantaa, not within Helsinki itself).

Hi There, did you go to Lapland in July? It was the summer season, did you still see the snow and you would able to do the husky ride? Because I’m planning to go in May and I’m afraid there will be snow or not at all? Thanks

I was there in April, still very cold and plenty of snow on the ground. Husky ride was open but not the reindeer, they were closed for the season.

Thank you so much for your response. I will be there last week of May, do you think there will be snow or should I skip this time and plan next year on Feb or March? Because I believe the beauty of that place only in winter. Please suggest, thanks
