Save you some time. Go to 51:07. Then go back to the beginning and watch the whole video 100 times..... Just like I have..... Happy music. My favorite W-M and JLCO.
Most plunger stuff that they have they use plungers. Gives a better timbre, and Most plungers have a hole drilled in the center. It gives better intonation when the plunger is mostly closed.
Joe Temperley was truly a Legend, such elegance and eloquence in his playing
Все темы, аранжированы, ну просто ВЕЛИКОЛЕПНЫ ! Оркестр, как всегда - БЕЗУКОРИЗНЕННО ЭЛЕГАНТЕН!!!

I agree man. Sometimes the modern stuff lacks conversations, even though I know they have them.
@@GARRY3754 "Modern stuff" being 60+ year old Ellington tunes 😛
Open new ERA
I live up in Washington State. This makes me envy those in New Orleans. Amazing!
Nathan, I'll speak under you as I, too, live in Wa. State. Every soloist is so inventive, lyrical, even fun to watch.
Fantástico
awesome
Sean Jones, he's a great trumpeter from Ohio!
super
Ryan Kisor from Sioux City, Iowa. Great stuff!
Great reenactment group.
No disappointment here ;That's for shure!
WoW!
killer sax soli at around the 5 min mark!
genial *-*
Joe Temperley aurait pu attendre la fin du solo de Marsalis au début au lieu de l'interrompre deux fois!!! Bon concert, comme toujours avec JLCO.
Cool
lol. 25 mins. Wynton show them who the Boss :)

I love this kind of --so what--His style, different from Miles
正我所要
My question was did he use a pixie mute with that plunger. Thanks
That term is for historians (which I love). A more appropriate term might be, " Kick ass big band!"
Name of last song ??
Lol... My baddddd. I meant to say Pixie. Yeah. Those were indeed Pixie mutes.
Jesus christ Ryan Kisor! Transcription time!
14:51 : Lead trumpeter's wet dream
who's the guy sitting between Wynton and Ryan Kisor? Must be pretty terrifying:)
Sean Jones, Fantastic trumpeter
