If you use the function =NORM.S.DIST( Z-Value ,TRUE) you will get the probability for a give Z value to an arbitrary number of decimals

= .S for standard normal distribution, i.e. has a mean value of zero and a standard deviation of one
Z-value is the value number of standard deviations
True to give a cumulative probability distribution, instead of a probability density function. a cumulative probability distribution is how most Z tables are normally read
if you put in =Norm.S.Dist(1,True) will return a value of .841345 if for instance you know the Z value to 4 decimals, you could put in =Norm.S.Dist(1.0002,True) to return .841393
My version of Excel will return up to 15 decimal places of precision if you change the cell formatting

This was an excellent explanation, however.. I'm getting different numbers than what the video is showing... Im having trouble understanding why does the top left of her table start at .5000 .. The intercetion of z0 and 0 should be zero... the chart in the back of my Stats text book starts at .0 and .0 and gives me a different answer for her z= 1.23

TLDR: his z-table is backwards
His table also shows what is to the right of the z-score not what area the z-score covers. For instance, a SD of 1 should cover 68.26% of the data, so at 1.0 his z-table should read .3413 to reflect that instead of .1587 which reflects the area not covered by z at 1 SD.
