@rubentherude - It's on ABC2 on Saturday Night 1/8/2010 - (if your in OZ of course) I rode in the funeral run in the movie - it was amazing - great memories.

This makes no sense. The highway they are on wasn't opened til the late 80's. Up til then, if you wanted to travel north from Sydney...you had to take the old pacific Highway which was basically aswerving two lane highway which today runs parallel to the one you see above. Had this part of the highway existed then..we would have gone this way. This is how it looks today...certainly not back then. Don;t know how they got this shot.

My local cinema (Ettalong) is having a 50th anniversary screening today. The funeral bike (or a copy) is current parked outside the cinema..
