U should start to teach how to draw a wall with size and everything belong to! Not to mix everything with each other just make it simple for beginner not mix all part of a building . Beginners like to know how to draw ex. a wall or door etc. not first the entire building!? When the student know how to draw a wall he wouldknow the entire building ! Like step by step , because u r talking of BEGINNERS!!!!
for the internal walls do the temporary dimensions measure from the finish face? what if I want them to measure to the structural face and not the finish face?
Hi, your video is wonderful, and as a beginner its easy to learn and follow. My 2024 version is not showing the AEC material, am not sure where its locked or its something else. It shows an icon for an error on the AEC material folder and hence when i wanted to insert the plant, i couldn't proceed. Please help on how to activate. I downloaded the UK family when i failed get doors etc.
Whenever I rename/adjust my elevations, it does not change anything in the Floor Plans section of the project browser. Even when I added an elevation, it didn't add one under the Floor Plans section. Any advice?
Hello, If you click ' No " while Revit is asking to rename corresponding views it will not change in the project browser. To reset this, Just " Rename " Floor Plans ( Just one should do ) associated with that level to the new name. Basically matching the name and that's it. If you try to rename the Level again, it will ask " Would you like to rename corresponding views" again

As a complete beginner the vid was a bit hard to follow, you move too quickly through some things. For example - following along with navigating the interface required a lot of pauses and rewinds to find where you were clicking, or selecting things. Or explaining how you were rotating the camera in 3D view (by pressing CTRL).

You can either change this in the manage tab, or hover over the structural wall and hit the TAB key to select it

It sounds like there was an error during installation of the software. The easiest solution is to uninstall the software and then reinstall.

Hi, can you try to delete the roof entirely and draw it again? Sometimes, this is the quickest way to resolve an issue with the roof.
