I use revit for four years now. And everything I know now I learned from you. Currently I have three revit certificates from Autodesk and i teach revit in institutes at all levels to advanced level.
However, when I saw this video I decided to watch it just for the old days sake ... and for my surprise I still learn thing or two new from you. This is that it is indicating that the I have been using Revit for four years now. And everything I know now I learned from you. Currently, I have three certificates from Autodesk and I teach Revit in institutes at all levels up to the advanced level. If this indicates anything, it indicates that a person, no matter how knowledgeable he is, will remain a student, and that Balkan Architect is greater revit teacher ever .
thank you... and i wish you continue teaching

I was wondering how in your other videos you got a nice setting, smooth lines, and other details, and i got to see in this video (like graphic settings; the dimension line tricks; the filter thing too; etc).

I am ArchiCAD user for a looong time, and I like this software very much, very comfortable! I teach students ArchiCAD. I just decided to learn Revit also, listened and watched this video and liked it very much! I liked how you explain everything. I am compeering it to ArchiCAD. So far, I did not like how you cab draw the floor in Revit, very complicated. I also have a question - how can I make a hole in the floor, when the floor is already drawn? In this video you make a hole for the stair while you draw the floor. But if the floor is already there and then I decided to make a hole, how it works? In ArchiCAD it's very easy. How about Revit? :)

Hello! This semester in studio my professor would like us to create timber arch type of structures (similar to Sheffield winter garden) and I was wondering if it is possible to model something like that in revit? My professors have told me revit isn’t good for designing in and I honestly have no idea how to go about this so I was wondering if anyone had any tips? Thanks!

I know a lot of architects using Revit or a similar programs working endless hours building the building in 3D. many are working 60 hours per week and being paid for 40. You can make more money designing video games than laboring trying to build a building in 3D. After more the 55 years in the architecture profession I have never had the need to design in 3D.

When I transfer the sheets I created in the Revit program to the AutoCad program as sheets, it comes in two forms. Layout and model. In the model section, every dimension is correct but not in sheet form. In the layout section, it is in sheet form but to scale. I want to see it in model form and in real size as a sheet. I don't know if I could explain it, but I would be glad if you could help.

Think about it: You need their strategy to succeed so that you can too. You never warned anyone on how predatory this pratice is and probably never will. You will keep pretending this is a fine business model, making architects hostages to paying forever without anything in return and no habilities to fight back since there are only two main groups on the market doing the exact same thing: Autodesk and Nemetschek.
