600 g boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 bunch green asparagus (about 400 g)
2 cloves of garlic
200 ml heavy cream
50 g parmesan cheese
30 ml olive oil
1 tsp mustard
100 ml water

I cooked asparagus once and hated it but my mum is going to cook something like this tonight and makes me really want to try. I cooked it in butter and garlic, salt and pepper but didn't like it so idk if I cooked it wrong or if I just don't like it lol
Well, I love asparagus, but you maybe not. This recipe works well with broccoli too.

Why do you peel asparagus?
In this case I needed to peel them because the outer layer was rougher. When they are super fragile and thin, they do not need to be peeled. 🙂

You don’t peel green asparagus, at the most you might nip of some of tiny “scales” on the lowest part of the stem, which you break where it wants to. The break of is good to use for the water in which you boil the aspargus, with salt and a bit of butter. Or freeze them to use in a veg. fond.
