Want to go faster, get the right scooter. Modding is dangerous, as this scooter wasnt made for that. GT1, GT2 and others will give you the rush you're looking for at a premium. Stay safe.
It is possible to flash the G2 without void the warranty. then just stick to recommended settings to be safe, I limit to 33kmh for smoothest rides. this guy don't know wtf he is talking about
Talk to our technicians about this. They’re more than happy to let you know that modding your Segway-Ninebot scooter’s speed is NOT ok. But hey, it’s your scooter! Do as you wish but don’t say we didn’t warn ya! - Mikey
If you go down that route, just know that you’ll void your existing warranty with Segway-Ninebot, the manufacturer. Ultimately, it’s up to you! - Mikey
That is technically modding your scooter because you “fixed it with applications”. In North America, the top speed of the F2 Pro is 32 km/h. However, in other regions outside of Canada/U.S., you will most likely have a lower top speed due to restrictions within your local jurisdiction (including firmware). If you mess with apps like Xiaodash, that goes against the warranty of Segway-Ninebot the manufacturer and voids it. Also, going through with this action, like you just insinuated, is very unsafe and we don’t condone that. - Mikey
@@OctopusEight it’s expensive to reverse the action if a problem occurs or your device stops functioning! Batteries are not cheap! So, do with that information as you’d like but don’t say we didn’t warn you! - Mikey
It’s not safe to mod the speed of your scooter faster than the original design because the scooter’s steering column is not built to withstand speeds higher than what it’s initially programmed to go. Also, by modding your scooter, you void your existing warranty with the manufacturer, so if anything happens to your device, you can’t make a claim for a free replacement of parts/repair. To put it simply, parts are expensive and batteries alone are $500-$700 plus tax! Again, it’s your scooter but our stance is firm. We DO NOT recommend modding your scooter by any means because of the safety risks it presents! - Mikey
The example shown here is terrible. Xiaodash is no good, filled with bugs, never gets fixed and is paid. Xiaodash is dangerous. However the G30 frame, and GT frames are great for modding, if done right its much safer and quicker than any current consumer hyperscooter available to be bought. This video makes modding appear to be entirely limited to xiaodash, which is not true. Xiaodash is to avoid, which is correct, but not modding entirely. Scooterhacking (not CFW, that's ancient) does their modding well (actually fixes bugs, who would've thought) as an option for people wanting to modify without hardware modding
We just wanted to highlight one of the many ways people are modding their scooters, especially through Xiaodash (it’s one of the most common apps we see clients downloading and using on their scooters without knowing just how bad it is). Unfortunately, there are many more out there and we wanted to bring awareness to modding as a whole. Our recommendations are firm. However, if the public chooses to mod their scooters, that’s on them. 🤷♂️ - Mikey
you are wrong, its fun but also dangerous if you dont 100% know what you are doing. for example, if you switch out the batteries or at extenders, you need to replace the controller and the connector so your scooter doesnt go up in flames. many people dont know that

scooterhacking utility is better than xiaodash
Yes it's expensive but its not unsafe if you know how to ride.
It’s not safe, period. - Mikey
Yeah, but 25kmh it's a little bit slow :/ maybe 35kmh would be great
