We wanted to clarify on the climbing ability of the scooter. Thanks for Paul from Electric Scooter Guide for reaching out to us to say that the ZT3 Pro can climb 25% grade which is technically 14 degrees. The hill we tried climbing is 19 degrees which exceeds the claimed climbing ability of the Segway ZT3 Pro. A 19 degree slope is equal to a 33% grade.
That's it! The scooter is advertised with 25%/14° and may also climb up a 15° hill with a driver of your weight, but 19°/34% is far above its climbing specs and thus capabilities. The single motor scooter VMAX VX2 Extreme (BTW also tested by Paul) could be able to manage this slope slowly but not this one here. 😉
Just get a kaabo scooter you will climb Mount Everest
Look shimano' s brake hydrolic.
Manufacturers always tend to advertise % slope rather than degrees as % shows the larger number which is better for marketing but can be a little misleading since a 100% slope is 45°
Hello, can you tell me how many cells in the battery?
The funny front wheel position where the wheel hub is behind the steering center is called Negative Caster. Shopping carts have negative caster and it makes them more maneuverable but this is opposite of what vehicles typically have. Motorcycles and cars use Positive Caster where the center of the wheel hub is in front of the steering center. I believe negative caster can cause speed wobbles. Do you ever see how sometimes the front wheels of a shopping cart are wobbling back and forth as you're pushing the cart? The more positive caster you have, the more the steering wants to center itself. That's why a car will start to center itself from a turn when you let go of the steering wheel and this is the reason you'd want positive caster instead of negative caster.
Segway should put all of their engineers into a proper hyper scooter. It would mop the floor with Kabo and Dualtrob.
We would love to see that!
yeah I wish they would do that. doesn't seem to their style.
A successor to the GT2 would do wonders!
their GT1 and GT2 is 24/7 on discount because nobody buys them, highly doubt they will go for that type of high end scooter with their very safe manufacturing strategy.
@@ChoJun69 I don’t understand what you mean could you explain more thanks!
I already can’t wait to see the
ZT3 pro version Dual 650w 52v.
Love the design, but that battery and that motor? Those looks deserved more.
In france, electric scooters are speed limited to 25kmh (15mph) and the price tag on most websites is about $778 (permanently) so I think this is the perfect scooter for me.
Creo que hay mejores opciones. Este pesa demasiado para llevar un solo motor. Un saludo
@@carlosgutierrezgonzalez7855 for example?
Great review
After watching this review of the ZT Pro
I’m very, very, happy with my
NINEBOT MAXG2 scooter.
Im still open minded, I’ll ride my friends very soon and I’ll see for myself how well I assessed this review.
Is the ninebot max g2 better than the scooter shown here? I also have a ninebot max g2e, but I am really thinking about it. Because it looks more powerful. What do you think?
I have a mad g2 and I’ve got about 1200 miles so far and no complaints. The zt3 just seems to bulky and heavy.
I'd go with the HILEY Tiger T8 Pro... It's $799, has dual motors, dual brakes, dual suspension, and low-maintenance solid tires with split-rim (easy to replace), and can go 31 mph, and it's lighter.
It's basically the original of the rebranded Splach Twin (which has good reviews)
i have this lol and i agree. so fun already put almost 300miles on it in a month
Miniwalker’s Tiger 8 pro 899
Hiley T8 has much smaller tires which makes for a less safe and less comfy ride, and also has significantly LESS range than this scooter.
This seems like a better option for the money to me. You can go a little faster, but after about 20 miles you'll be on your last legs and this segway will still be going strong.
@@sammysokosammysoko its pretty comfy and stable even at 30mph the dual suspension is smooth. full battery lasts me around 20-30 most of the time 25ish cause i like to stay pinned most the time leaning corners lol
@@kaizz3n I ride EUC but my youngest son wants a scooter. For my daily rides, 25 - 30 miles just isn't enough. I believe that, at the same 25ish mph, this scooter will get around 8 to 12 more miles per charge.
I'm definitely not knocking your ride, man. I checked it out and it's been in the running as an affordable option for us. I just think we might be leaning toward this one now.
I got a gt1 for the comfort and yes it’s huge compared to zt3 but the range and top speed for single motor is awesome for 1500. 37 mph feels comfy on the gt1.
Glad that i ordered the G2 instead, i think their next off-road type scooter will be improved
I feel like smaller break disks like this would be nice. I always scrape my larger disks on curbs and crap when I least expect it. And when off road, I get plenty of little rocks, sticks & vines caught up in them too. So if it's supposed to be an off road capable scooter then yeah... smaller disks makes sense to me. I love anything tubeless, like most of us do (being easy to quickly patch), so that's great. Would've liked to see it hit 30mph at least. Maybe a slightly larger battery, but I get it. A lotta great features at a banging price of a stack. Nice.
Very happy of this scooter
It's cool it has a boost mode. Makes it feel faster.
The display lacks an odometer and a tripmeter. Also no voltmeter but it does have voltage bars I think 10. There will be a rear luggage trunk and a seat available eventually .Holes are tapped for these add ons but are covered with rubber tabs.
That is a small battery. I do not see the point of it when they are selling that GT1 for $1,500
We would definitely spend more for the GT1 but it’s not as portable. The GT1 was originally $2500 but they are trying to transition into their new scooters. I hope to see a GT3 soon!
@@freshlycharged Hello, can you tell me how many cells in the battery? Thanks U
@freshlycharged you guys have tried many scooters. With the GT1 being 1500. What would you pick, the ZT3 or GT1 if you are looking for ride comfort, durability and build quality.
I don't care much about the speed, and that means I would probably get enough range with any of the 2.
ZT3 Pro needs an extra motor to increase hill climb power. Still keen for a succesor to the GT2!
Really hope they make a Dual motor version and I'll get one ❤the video
A dual motor version would be amazing.
There are a handful of innovative ideas with this scooter but for the price I'd definitely stick with my Kukirin G2 Master which was about the same. I would pick the innovation in the Mukuta 9 Plus over this scooter any day. Thanks for the review though.
the price point is amazing
It's really a good deal for the preorder price.
I am sure that grade is 45* degrees. Look at the image at 8:08. It’s about an 8th of a circle (quarter of a quarter).
Just what im looking for 👍🏽
The GoTrax GX0 with it's dual-motors goes wherever you point it. It's got the swappable battery so I can take one scooter and two batteries out to the park, and it's arguably cooler looking with the swag lights on the side. I love my GT2 for the road and my girl loves her Max G2 for it's hydraulic suspension and smooth ride. My kids have Segway C2 Pro that go 12mph and matches acceleration of G2 in boost mode. But 1-motor is not enough for off-road. It's just not gonna get you over everything you come across.
I love that you put km/h for speed but could you put cm for measurement too please? I don't feel like getting my barley corns and eagle wings out to measure your weird American units. Only the USA uses imperial. With love, Ben ❤️
We always laugh when people claim the imperial system is supreme since they never used metric. It’s always easier to divide by 10, 100, 1000 instead of 3,12 and 5280.
However, you gave us a great idea to start measuring things by eagle wings….freedom!!!!
Good morning from Hawaii!
Good morning! It is is really early in Hawaii. You might have to say good evening since it's 3:30 AM. 😂
STAY AWAY FROM SEGWAY My GT2's Controller died after 15 Months and Segway Is not able to send me a new one as controllers are Serial Number locked to a specific unit. And they can't rewrite it. $3500 Paperweight!
Awesome review guys always fun to watch! I love sagway products but why? Even bother to make a single motor 20 mil rage scooter in today's market when everyone eals is making bigger and better stuff 😅
When's the Cyber coming out?
The extension port in the back and the two at each side of the deck are for the seat.
Thanks for being smarter than us and letting us know!
Actually the ones on the deck is for the seat but the one in the back is for a kind of case/luggage.
It’s for the rear loading rack accessory
Please test the new AUSOM Leopard DT1 Pro... With the features for a Dual 1000w motors, I think it's the best at $1100 (with coupon). Tom is the only channel that first reviewed it since it's new
GUYS please get your hands on an Ausom Gallop and give us your opinion. Considering buying - but would love your opinions.
A lot of people have asked about that scooter so we will have to check it out.
Do you have any Gingerly used duallies you would like to ship/sell to a Yuge fan? Maybe give me a nice deal and a chance to try something with some POWAA
There's a new Gallop SR1 though, which is better than the old Gallop
@@xFreyelis How do you figure? Many people have a very different opinion on that.
Well. I think Ausom went backwards with new Gallop. 1000 watt motors. Smaller battery. And the new Gallop is smaller than the old Gallop. No quick release to change flat tires. No removable battery. I think it was a huge swing and miss from Ausom as a scooter company.
This scooter is pretty nice. If this was as fast or faster than my Segway P100S (30 MPH), I would've look into buying this. Also I wish they had the built it power brick than a separate power brick for travel.
I really hope you reply to my comment.
I have a p100s..
I was wondering how long have you had your's? How many miles?
Do you ride it rough at all?
Jump off curbs or anything?
This is really important because I have a follow up question.
Thanks!
@@JESUS-IS-RAD Hey…So I had my P100s ever since the release date after the Kickstarter (October 2022). I don’t have crazy miles with it because I use both my P100s and my E-Bike depending where I go. I wanna say under 2k. I don’t ride crazy with it. I use it simply for commuting around the city. It had its share of potholes, cracks and curbs but it’s still a beast of a scooter especially coming from the Ninebox Max. One issue I had with it was tire valve popping out when putting air on the tire but that all.
@@graffmixer Thanks for the response bro.
My p100s broke while riding, the front fork broke.
But I jumped a lot of stuff with it and was rough with it. So I was just wondering if it was worth fixing it..
Stay safe bro✊😆
@@JESUS-IS-RAD Yeah I've been reading about the front fork breaking all over the net. I'm thinking thats what people are doing to it especially thats not what its mean't for. But who knows. I've been riding this in the mean streets of NYC for a minute and had no issues with it but yeah I'm concerned.
Interestinglu enough, the Kaabo Mantis X Plus is also 1299 right now, so it'd be great to see a comparison or review of that :)
Thanks for the review. One thing I don't get is why Segway continues to go with such undersized batteries on scooters in this weight class. If I need to lug around a 30kg scooter I want at least a 20Ah+ battery not a 12Ah one that are more common in 15kg scooters. That is the same thing that killed the GT2 for me.
I like everything about this scooter except for the range. Less than 20 miles?? That’s a dealbreaker for me.
Twist and thumb throttle design was found on Inokim scooters
Mann i really hope Segway will make a 60+ mph scooter a real super scooter because i have the gt2 and i wish it goes 60 mph cuz its a “super scooter”
That would be incredible!
Fr!!
I have the GT2, soon the ZT3, GT2 is about 12 inches longer than my wkgt pros, smoother ride but, yes on a more powerful scoot.
I have the Segway Ninbot E2 plus, 16mph max, both solid tires, no worry for flat tire, what I don't like is, takes 7.5 hours to charge, the ZT Pro above takes just 3.5 hours to charge, beautiful. My handle bar has twisted for some reason, shop I bought told me to unscrew the 2 allan bolts and adjust and screw back, did it, but still same problem, I wonder if other E2 Plus have this problem too?

hello! de france 😉 le rapport qualité prix de cette trottinette est completement dingue 🤪 699 euro en france
vous me faite pensé a jay and silent bob 😂je m'abonne 👍
How's the ride comfort compared to the GT1?
At 2:00 mark what was that sound ? 🤔
good day, can you turn off the daylight cross??? it would save electricity in the battery and a longer range
Likewise bros! 😎 As watched, AWESOME design & price, but small battery, low braking power and torq. 💪👍
I've heard incredible problems with the GT1 and GT2😢 I want to know the durability between this scooter and the p65 that I have about 4,000 Mi on that I take off of sidewalks and up sidewalks bunny hopping is still possible with 60 lb😅
Great video! @freshlycharged Can you please provide some info or a link to the ramp that is on the back wall @ around the 0:20 mark?
thanks in advance
Isn't the footboard a bit short, eg compared to Ninebot ?
Can you compare uphill performance with togo plus please?
How to turn off the X light in the front? Or was it always on? Thank you. Ninebot ZT3 Pro😊
Always. And rear too.
Can you review guys Nami Super Stellar?
I just got this scooter what the red butron for next to the turning signal
how much torque does it have? in NM thx!
LOL in Europe it's only 700€ finally god some good prices
Greetings from Russia! Thanks for the review! You can specify the dimensions and weight of the box in which the scooter is supplied, I did not find this information in the video. If possible, provide the data in the metric system.
How would you compare this to the GT1? Do you think the $500 extra dollars for the GT1 is not worth it? Worth it? Worth it some times?
NICE
It's 25% not degrees... so it's like 14° that it can climb, I think you tested it @19° ^^
Why this wasn't just put into a dual motor is just mind blowing to me smh .
I Really want one. But in Denmark where am from the speed limit is only at 20 km/h kinda slow. And it will probably be expensive 😢
What was the size of the motor 6or8hundred watt and a peak of 1600watt did i hear that properly cos theres no way without bigger battery and controller and even then your gona burn that motor out ,but i gotta say the m4pro from kugoo 500watt motor with a 18 ah 48volt battery although mine goes to 55.5 on a full charge so it would go to 56 butt the bms kicks in its defo the best 500wTt motor out there im hearing theres a 22 àh but its 21700 cells and much smaller battery i can see why theyd up the power on the m4pro cos that motors special imho its like the m21 fiido pro its suppose to be 250 watt and its the same size as my 750 engwe takes off like a bat outta hell when youve it tuned proper has a torgue sensor on or in the crank bracket which will pull a wheelie but not with the fiido controller any half decent controller will up the everything so much on it my controller is a pricy one that u can tweek lots with altho a lil big q got 15 modes of pedal assit ehich is torgue in this case hence wheelie😅 but my next move is a 60volt controller then shocks and i think ive the complete road legal bike 😅😎 sorry i robbed your scooter review get that thing supped up or ditch the app and components and put your own stuff in there cos it should blast with even them specs but the battery could be your power prob segway have been making the highest of quality of batterys like lg cells 10s 6pack tjsts 60 lg cells at a wattage of 550 and that was 2 yrs ago bruv come on man ✌️☘️ Ireland sayin how it is my men
Can you make please a Video G2 Max vs Zt3 pro ?
I’m almost certain this isn’t the best for inner city commuting.. I’ll stick with my NIU AIR. Just wish it was faster than 20 max speed, and had shocks… all that while keeping the weight under 30lbs
@@CometoMiami Apollo go is perfect for commuting. I have over 1 k miles on it so far. Has dual motors and suspension while being 46 pounds.
It’s a saddle bag extension and there it a seat that could be add on
Thanks for sharing the info!
still waiiting on mantis x review 😩
I wonder how many SEGWAY ZT3 Pro Scooters were sold because of this Review... I bought one, did you?
Is it better than max g2?
Hi dear. How we can speed over 25km/h Unlimited? In Spain comes with limit speed. Somehow? Please
That plastic rattling sound is very cheap!!!
48/12 is poor!!!
Other's have 48/18 or 48/20!!! Yes it's just ok for very short distances. The price is good though. Headlight is ok at low speeds, doesn't lit up the road far enough!
False 25 % hillclimb!!!
More like 15% with a 145lbs person.😮
It's not a 600W ,its a 1000W motor with 1600W max output.
You guys made a mistake about it!!!
Often made mistakes before though. 😮😊
These guys don't comment enough about the regen brakes! Should of said more about it.
The Apollo already have a few escooters with excellent adjustable electronic regen brakes!
How to turn off its 4 led it turns on all time?
How would you compare this to the segway GT2??
Does it have speed limiter
That Hill's incline is extremely high.
⚡️⚡️⚡️
*Yewhh!*
Im just gonna ask what is pre loading a jump lol 😂
Do you know a cell holder for this ZT3 scooter?
if everyone rode skewterz there would be no serius injury and no deaths on the rodez except for delivery transports
GT2 still the best!
Man I want to like this scooter, well I actually do. It says max payload of 265 but realistically how much range is that going to get give a bigger guy with under 600 WH? Maybe like 10-12 miles if you are lucky? Too bad but that little battery not a good selling point IMO.
What are the dimensions of the packing in the U.S ?? Here in the U.K. the scooters are limited to 25 kph the U.S. version is 40 Kph limited.
Trying to figure out how much Shipping to the UK 🇬🇧 would cost if i brought a U.S. one
can upgrade the brakes? caliper, disc, mechanical to hydraulic?

How do you make it go faster then 25ks
buy a real bike
Does anybody else’s zt3 make a cluck like noise when breaking? I’ve also noticed that when I do break I’m sliding all over the place
So how much gradient will it climb???
If it can climb 15% hill I will buy one.
Anyone know??
Do you guys think there are any benefits of the Max G2 over this?
Does anybody know when these will be available on Amazon? It has them but says temporarily out.
i thinking you need to test the normal one.
the eu version is downgraded.
it should climb 25% if it sad so
That fu king park mode beep is also on Segway F2 pro
Off road scooter with 1 motor is like calling a truck off road when it's not all wheel drive (awd) it's a big NO for me
Hill climb 8:00 sez it all
Rus subtitle please 🙏
having the wheel behind the forks is a real weird one, why would they think thats a good idea? cool tech for the price though but performance is disgusting
Another red scooter...just what the scooter world didn't need more of. Segway loves them some color red.
Max 70 km means really means 20 km in real time! Very false advertising !
In terms of build quality, segway ninebot is more like AliExpress 50 Dollar Cellphone
I have mixed feelings. It kinda looks nice and good quality, but I don't like the front fork, the small brakes and the 7 inch rims. There are a lot greater selection of tires for 6.5 or 6 inch rims. And the handlebar also sucks, looks impossible to fit any gadgets or extension to it.
Off-road and single motor don't mix.
You want power you have to have dual😂
ENGWE Y600 goes 28 mph ., it’s 600$. Warranty. Just saying : 25 mph for 900$ is kinda expensive 😢.
Segway are premiere scooters. Unlike Engwe you know you won’t have issues with scooter
