    ************************NOTES AND UPDATES, PLEASE READ**************************
    1. I do not know why my eyebrows look so different from each other in this video. It literally looks like I filled one of them in with pencil and not the other. I am 95% sure that's not what happened but I don't know what did happen to make it this way.
    2. UPDATE on L'Oréal Telescopic Lash: by the evening it had become so dry and crumbly that a piece crumbled off and got INTO MY EYE and it was a disaster. Will never wear again
    3. I think that Makeup Forever has changed the packaging of their redness reducing primer-it used to look a lot more like the L'Oréal product that I reviewed in this video. Or at the very least there used to be some black on the packaging. Anyway when I looked it up I saw that the shape of the tube is currently the only similarity and maybe it's not telegraphing "dupe" as much as I thought. But I'll say this: the L'Oréal Prime Lab Redness Eraser is a SERVE of the highest order and I have not stopped using it since this video. And when I edited this, I was like "girl you don't even need more coverage, why are you going in with the blunder cover." Every day since then it's been Prime Lab and spot concealer only and I love it.
    Thank you for watching!

I’m a big drugstore makeup fan but I generally feel like the better dupes are the ones that aren’t as obvious. For example the L’Oréal lumi glotion is way better of a product than the Elf Halo Glow. Dupes are also better within parent companies for example L’Oréal has tons of dupes for Lancome

The whole L’Oréal-Lancôme-Maybelline-NYX product parallels are WILD. I once had a Lancôme representative tell me the Maybelline fit me foundation is literally the same as the teint idole, and it’s been really hard for me to buy high end stuff ever since haha

They are just good products. They don't have to be attempting to 'dupe' something but have inherent specialness, as a stand alone appreciation. I think this is a much more interesting take that the 'id it a dupe' trope which feels quite stale at this point in beauty ville xx

Edited to add a video request: I would love a video about how to identify undertones and how to pick out shades of product that match. I have so much redness that I honestly can't tell what undertone I have and I don't know how to pick the appropriate green color corrector or foundation as a result. I have wasted so much money trying shades that don't work for me.

ELF coming for it, honestly. And I've heard (but not tried) that the new Revlon foundation is very similar to the new Saie one. One of my favs is Sephora gel concealer.. no one talks about it and it’s amazing on my 60 year old under eyes.
On another note, I love Blunder Cover because I can sponge on sooo little here and there and the formula and match are skin like on me. It can also get makeuppy fast if I use more, or apply with a brush.. which ends up being great for stage. 😁😁😁

It's good to know the Sephora Gel Concealer is good! Have you ever tried the Ultra Creamy Shape Tape? I bought that because I was in Ulta & got overwhelmed about spending money & how few options there were for a hydrating concealer in my shade, but... It's pretty amazing. a great video would be a review of the brand Essence - it's a german makeup brand that's widely available and beloved in europe, their prices are extremely low but the quality is really high, and their mascaras in particular are extremely good. the only downside is the packaging, which is plain at best and ugly at worst 😅 i think it raises a good point, which is that sometimes the best performing makeup has ugly packaging, so it's not selling the fantasy but it works really well!!

AAAAAAH I just bought the NYX color correcting concealer because I was nervous the L'Oréal wouldn't be as good as it appeared & I wanted to go w/ something I heard a lot of reviews about, lol. I've recently been putting a dollop on my hand & then adding a squeeze of my primer or moisturizer & it serves a similar purpose, so... I'm not disappointed w/ my purchase, but it's good to know that it's amazing!!

I love thoughtful dupe videos. Too many influencers jump on the dupe bandwagon but don't actually test the products well. I would love to know if there are any dupes for the Victoria Beckham kajal eyeliner. Pixi looks like it has some color dupes, but I wonder about the product texture and wear time.

I would love to see a part 2 and have suggestion for a possible Rose Inc concealer dupe, the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Radiant Cream Concealer in Ivory Light 01. It might be hard to find accurate swatches online but in person it’s a very pale and desaturated and almost gray leaning like the Rose Inc.

I had used the telescopic mascara about 6-7 years ago, and I remember really liking it at the time. Then I decided to repurchase it this year and omg I had SO MUCH flakiness at the end of the day, it made my under eyes look grayish when looking in the mirror. I used it for a few months because it was a pricey mascara for me, but I hated every time I worn it.
Now I'm using Maybelline's sky high, and that one works way better for me.

Revolution, for me, shines in the cream bronzer, brow products, cream blush, and the IRL concealer. The strange thing about Revolution is that some of the products I really love, many people don’t care for (and vice versa). Their products seem to be very subjective, I guess is what I’m trying to say.

A better fenty gloss bomb dupe is the maybelline lip glosses in the square tube.
I feel like revolution often don't do good dupes, they can be very hit and miss. But brands that are more consistent (Elf, Loreal, Maybelline, Nyx, Bourjois and may others) are the brands that make the best dupes.

You’re a delight to watch and your descriptions are fantastic. I have never spent much money on any of my makeup. It just has always felt like such a gamble. I can’t justify to myself spending the high end prices on a product I could end up hating. But I gotta say, your description of the Fenti lip balm ….. hmmm. I’m tempted 😂 Lip products in particular are so hard for me to find. I can usually make all the other products work for me, but I have challenging lips. I have a drawer full of lip products that have disappointed me. I love a good drug store find. I’m very loyal to them once I find them. So, for me, since I have never bought any high end makeup ever, I’m not even interested in dupes per say, just in good products. I end up watching dupe videos just to learn about good inexpensive makeup lol. The primer is also tempting. The brand essence has some mascara that I have gotten a lot of wear out of. I don’t know if you have that brand there. It doesn’t irritate my eyes and does what it claims to do.

Ooo, this was a really fun one! More of this please!! As for Revolution products... the only one I've ever used is the Blur Stick Bright primer. Not sure what its duping, but I like the formula. I think the stick itself is too wide though.
ETA, I'm excited to try the L'Oreal color corrector. I have rosacea and your other videos have opened the world of green color correctors to me. I tried the Makeup Forever and liked what it did for me, but found that it really aggravated my skin and made my rosacea flare and the problem worse when it wasn't actively on my face. Plus, as you point out, it's way too pricey for what you get.

These drugstore concealers are bangers for mature textured under eyes in my opinion and I highly recommend them: 1. Makeup revolution conceal and define concealer, 2. Makeup revolution illuminating under eye concealer with vitamin c (i wear shade Fair), and 3. Nyx bare with me concealer serum (I wear lightest shade) and a little goes a long way with the nyx one, I just aim for a half pump with that one. These are all so good, I have no use for the expensive kosas concealer anymore for under eyes. Only higher end ones I still like include the becca under eye corrector in pot and the glossier stretch concealer in pot.

Ironically that green color corrector did recently catch my eye, and it’s in my makeup drawer, waiting for it’s debut! I was excited to see you try it and will get to doing so myself soon

Maybelline Fit Me concealer is a dupe for the Nars one. L’Oreal Lash Paradise is a dupe for Too Faced Better Than Sex. ELF Power Grip primer is a dupe for Milk Hydrogrip. I have no idea if L’Oreal Fresh Wear was inspired by anything high end but throwing it in the ring because it’s the bestest drugstore foundation I’ve ever tried.

If you want to try Makeup Revolution *good* products, here are my absolute "holy grail for longer than a year" favorites - I wear them almost if not every time I do my makeup, and I can't recommend them enough!:
    - Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream bronzer - I know you're not a huge fan of bronzers, but maybe a darker shade as an extravagant blush? Formula is so good, and the 'medium' shade is a perfect cooler tone with olive undertones. It will be too dark for you though...
    - Makeup Revolution Fast Base Blush - it's a cream stick blush and its soo creamy and dewy and blendable and starts of super sheer (the light shades!) but buildable. I love the schades 'baby' (super light warm nudey-pink) and 'Bare' (neutral pink) the most, I think you might like "Mauve' the best - it's not actually a mauve schade, but a warm nude-brown schade. Or you might like 'baby'? The brighter/darker shades are also really pretty, but they are really opaque and bright, which is actually good for darker skin-tones, i use the ''rose' and 'bloom' shades in the summer as an extremely bright pop. Honestly, I have stopped using any other cream blushes, these are all I need..
    - their shadows are not bad, but I don't think they are anything special. The rest of the products I don't think I've tried recently.
    Love your videos so much!

The only product to tempt me from revolution (have had a terrible run with every product so far that I’ve tried) is their cream bronzer. I’m not sure which higher end one they are duping, but the reviews have been unanimously good from the reviewers I watch. Not sure if they make the lightest shade light enough or have the correct undertones for you. I love all of your content Hannah❤
