Cool channel. I lived in japan in 1980's (American) I went to high school in a rural area (Shimabara) i was the only foreigner. At school in winter we wore the old black uniforms with high collars and gold buttons in front. I loved living in Japan. It was a long time ago but it was a wonderful experience.

I paid $250, laser removal in NYC. My dermatologist zapped off all of the tiny beauty marks I had around my eyes. It only required two sessions, both included. But consider copay, $50 and numbing cream, $15 plus taxi there and back… so like $350-$400 treatment. But it’s worth it. My face is spotless.
I am Brazilian, we are touchy feely even with friends. We hug friends, we Kiss each other's cheeks when we meet and when we say Goodbye. Even if couples don't suck the life out of each other in kisses, we like to hug, walk hand in hand, do small gestures of tenderness in public. And that is maybe an inherited trait, cause we treat our children very affectionately, with lots of hair stroking, sniffing one's head is a Classic act of intimacy, stroking the arm lightly to give assurance and say, ok, we're together. It is not sex, it is carinho.
I am Brazilian, and I really hate this thing about kissing and hugging and having too much contact with people I'm not intimate with (which includes friends). It's always felt invasive to me.
It is similar to Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 and other Hispanic cultures. Very affectionate and touchy, we hug and kiss someone on the cheek, handholding and PDA are normal for us. When I lived in Japan and kissed my husband goodbye before I went somewhere apart from him, a small group of Japanese young ladies were passing by and gasped and giggled at us. 😂

I am really interested in Japan, when I’m in my senior years of high school (11/12) I want to visit Japan and probably be an exchange student. Your content it really fun to watch, I love that you take your time to make it! I’m trying to learn Japanese but it’s difficult being self taught not knowing what to do after learning hiragana, katakana, basic words and grammar etc. trying to start learning kanji but hopefully I keep working and become somewhat fluent or at least be able to keep a conversation going. Thanks again!
I was so surprised that the healthcare worker said a lot of his coworkers date their patients! I also work in healthcare but dating our it is not allowed where I live. I would actually love for you to interview Doctors and nurses in Japan!
I’m 172 cm and my husband is 176 cm. His feet are slightly bigger than mine, I wear a ring size smaller than him but for the most part we can share many things lol. Of course there are characteristics that are different due to our genders. For example, his fingernails are twice as wide as my own, his shoulders are broader and he’s thin and I’m curvy. I used to think because I was a very tall woman, I’d be seen as manly (despite looking and being really feminine). However I always tell girls who ask me and are tall as well to not pay too much attention to standards in the world. Like one of the gentlemen in the video said “when you like someone, you can’t really explain why”. It just happens that way. Tall, short, black or white etc…💕
there's a lot of couple walks in the background of your video.. it would be nice if you interview couples about how they met and what they think about living together or marriage in Japan... it would be more interesting if you ask foreign-japanese couples as well. . Edit: wow I commented it before watching the end of the video.. yeah it would be interesting to see the international couple video
PDA even with foreigners is a personality thing I feel. I’m from the US and I don’t like PDA and it’s probably due to my not growing up around it. I’ve never even seen my parents kiss in my nearly 41 years of existence. The only PDA I’d feel okay with is a hug when greeting or parting ways. When living in Japan my 7 1/2 years I don’t think I ever saw any PDA, accept for maybe handholding. Very modest. As for height, I always wished I was a tad bit shorter, especially while living there. Shorter girls are cuter and seem most guys prefer them. I think my height is around 178cm or 180. I’m even tall by US standards.
Well, yeah, you are even taller than most Japanese guys there but you shouldn’t feel discouraged for something like that. If someone doesn’t accept you for your height is not the one, as simple as that.
I see that the Japanese girl image is way different from western girls, most folks in East Asian countries like mature/older women and someone they'd learn from, as for here it's mostly about mutual interests and computability no matter what age, height... Etc But usually the curvy girl is more desirable due to the media influence, but I like how the last guy mentioned the public and cultural respect rather at the end, I think that communication, social manners and personal ethics are the backbone of building all sort of relationships.. I'm personally a 5'11* (180 cm) girl, and it's been hard for me dating a shorter guy (because of his personality and inferiority complex of how'd society perceive him), still I prefer meaningful relationships, the soulmate type that helps each part to flourish on their own, while having that positive togetherness as a couple or in a group of friends. I guess I learned from my experience that personality differences, heights, looks, genders.. they all don't matter as long as the mutual feelings are evolving into a good and safe state.
180cm is like 6ft. East Asians generally like cute young looking people with sexiness with them. That's why if you notice their idols are more of a cutesy type.
So cool video! IMO, people's tastes are very much related to where they grew up or what they are used to. I liked white men and latino men, but when I moved to a city where there are more asian people, I began to be more interested in their culture and their appearance.

@@rosethorn0232 it's cause they work so much they wouldn't really get to see each other at home, makes total sense why they'd prefer that. (I would also hate it)
I can relate to the numbness of seeing the same kind of girls around. When I was young (I’m Asian by the way) I was raised in Miami where there are tons of Hispanics. And those were pretty much the only girls I saw. So going to see all different types later allowed me to expand my vision of what kind of girl I want.

For people that didn't understand the neuance, 5'3 is considered as average height in Japan. He didn't want to offend short girls by saying "I don't like short girls" so he said "girls on taller side (actually average)" is his type. I wonder if non-Japanese get it with this explanation ..😅

Measure of height depends on the country/culture you are from. For example, if you are from the Netherlands, 170cm is short, but in countries like Japan or Malaysia, that is tall.

I have a beauty mark near my eye ..LOL, I removed all the others on my face and wanted to remove the one near my eye but then I was advised to leave that one because it's more risky to remove. T.T
Laser removal? And how much did it cost for you and where you from? XD I got many beauty moles aswell and some I don't like, only got one surgically removed on my neck
how’d you remove it? I want a lot of my moles removed too
I paid $250, laser removal in NYC. My dermatologist zapped off all of the tiny beauty marks I had around my eyes. It only required two sessions, both included. But consider copay, $50 and numbing cream, $15 plus taxi there and back… so like $350-$400 treatment. But it’s worth it. My face is spotless.
That's wy I don't like when people try to change their looks before learning about beauty preferences in the rest of the world . . .

It is really interesting to know the POV of Japanese guys regarding dating. I thoroughly enjoyed this video. 😍Looking forward to your next videos. Great job Takashii 👍

I love this, so informative and interesting . The guys were so open and honest. Awesome video
Great video as always Takashi! How about a q and a video? That would be super interesting!
Wait, is it a thing that men have wider finger nails than women? I’ve never heard of that before or noticed it myself. I wonder why that is.
Is that you in your photo?? You are gorgeous!!
I really liked you asked about personality too, since I've found several videos where guys only focus on looks. Nice channel 🤘

yayyy just 1 week til I arrive to Japan now! Love your channel!
In the uk it's EXTREMELY taboo too...but like, drunk kids will do it.
5'9" is 175cm and 180cm is 5'11", sounds like you are a American.
I need your height...
180cm is like 6ft.

The guy who said he would date black or white women, was quite interesting. The guy who said someone who was between 5”3-5”6, that’s not tall😂😂😂!! 5”6 is average for a woman. My sister is 5”7, they’d probably call her a giant!😂😂
I am demiromantic, so I need time to know someone before I develop an interest in them. It seems nice that people want to know the other person more, and take things slow, which seems to be the complete opposite in my country.

As an American (New York State human) I can’t imagine meeting the love of my life at work. That idea makes me uncomfortable lol we do a lot of trainings about not harassing people romantically or sexually at work 😂
For me it would just be boring to work at the same place as the person you are in a relationship with. What would you talk about? The same stuff all the time, from the same little work bubble, instead of being able to ask each other about your days with genuine curiosity.
@@rosethorn0232 it's cause they work so much they wouldn't really get to see each other at home, makes total sense why they'd prefer that. (I would also hate it)
